Artillery

Artillery Brawlers throw or shoot projectiles over obstacles and walls and consequently can utilize the environment very effectively. They typically have low amounts of hitpoints and combine elements of Controllers and Damage Dealers. Their damage typically lacks burst potential and stopping power, which means they have a hard time dealing with Tanks and Assassins. However, their unique ability to use walls can make them very frustrating to deal with, and their sustained damage can make it almost impossible to recover hitpoints.

"I'm ready to serve."
A bartending robot designed to mix drinks and banter with patrons, Barley also makes sure to keep his bar clean, to the detriment of anyone who makes a mess.

A Rare Brawler, and part of the Townsfolk trio along with Piper and Byron. He's a robotic, Mood-Swinger barista with a penchant for mixing cocktails and throwing bottles full of burning alcohol at enemies, specializing in blocking key paths with his kit and harassing enemies with his attacks while staying protected behind cover.

  • His Attack, Undiluted, has Barley throw a bottle of burning alcohol to the ground that leaves a puddle for 2 seconds, dealing up to two ticks of damage to any enemy that dares to step on it or if they're hit with the initial shatter. This attack can be thrown over walls.
  • His Super, Last Call, throws a barrage of bottles that cover a large area and leave multiple puddles. These work similar to his main attack, except they deal more damage and last 4 seconds on the ground.
  • His first Gadget, Sticky Syrup Mixer, creates a sticky puddle at Barley's feet that slows down enemies that touch it. This puddle covers a medium-sized area where it's spawned and disappears after 4 seconds.
  • His second Gadget, Herbal Tonic, throws potions at Barley and his teammates' feet, creating puddles that heal 15% of Barley's maximum health per second for 4.5 seconds for a total of 75% of his maximum health if they remain inside the potion puddle for that long.
  • His first Star Power, Medical Use, lets Barley heal 10% of his maximum health every time he uses his main attack.
  • His second Star Power, Extra Noxious, adds 200 points of damage to each tick of Barley's main attack.

  • Apologetic Attacker: Some of his voicelines when using his main attack have him apologizing.
    "Whoopsie!
    "Oops, my bad."
  • Ass Kicking Pose: Does a drunk-looking one in the win animation of his Sway Master skin.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He's usually a good-mannered, well-spoken robot who treats everybody with respect, but he's also a Mood-Swinger that can go absolutely berserk if anyone messes with his tavern.
  • Berserk Button: As shown in the "Barley's Last Call" animation, thrashing his bar is a huge no for him.
  • Can't Hold His Liquor: In the defeat animation of his Sway Master skin, Barley drinks from his gourd before drunkenly stumbling off and falling down.
  • Combat Medic: Can potentiality become this with his Herbal Tonic Gadget, letting him heal his teammates and himself while still doing high damage.
  • Cyber Cyclops: He has only one eye.
  • Damage Over Time: Both his main attack and Super throw projectiles of Area of Effect damage. Downplayed with his main attack however, as each projectile can only hit the same enemy twice.
  • Dashingly Dapper Derby: Sports a bowler hat in his default skin.
  • Drunken Master: His Sway Master skin is based on this trope, constantly swaying from side to side in his idle animation. Notably, the skin set it belongs is mostly based on the Fighting Game game genre.
  • Dub Name Change: He's called Bartaba in French, and Bombardino in Italian.
  • Edible Ammunition: His Bakesale skin replaces the alcohol bottles from his attacks with pies.
  • Fireballs: His Wizard and Red Wizard skins replace Barley's alcohol bottles with fireballs.
  • The Friends Who Never Hang: He's pretty much never seen interacting with Byron and Piper, the other members of his trio. Probably justified, as the only thing they've got in common is living in the same town.
  • Glass Cannon: Barley has great damage potential and area control, and he's usually safe from harm since his attacks can be lobbed over walls. If a enemy Brawler manages to get near him, however, Barley is usually going to lose the fight thanks to his low HP.
  • Gold Makes Everything Shiny: Becomes primarily gold-colored in his Golden skin.
  • Grievous Bottley Harm: Barley attacks lobbying bottles at his enemies, although the real source of damage is the noxious liquid contained inside of them.
  • Happy Dance: Does one in the win animation of his Unicorn Knight skin.
  • Healing Factor: If he has the Medical Use Star Power, Barley will heal for 10% of his maximum health every time he uses his main attack, which can be useful for keeping up the pressure and his area control without having to stop for his natural regeneration to kick in.
  • Healing Potion: His Herbal Tonic Gadget serves as one both for him and his teammates.
  • Knight in Shining Armor: Becomes a Unicorn-themed knight in his Unicorn Knight skin while keeping his polite and friendly personality.
  • Major Injury Underreaction: He shows little reaction to dropping a massive chunk of his health, and responds politely when he is destroyed.
    "It's been a pleasure."
  • Mood-Swinger: While he's usually depicted as friendly and well-mannered, he can also go berserk quite easily if he notices his bar is being messed up by his customers.
  • Moose and Maple Syrup: His Maple skin turns Barley into a stereotypical Canadian lumberjack, gaining a beard and a maple leaf on his alcohol bottle.
  • Neat Freak: He's this when it comes to his bar, needing to be absolutely that it's being kept clean. If not, well...
  • Percussive Therapy: He kicks his magical bottle away in frustration in the defeat animation of his Unicorn Knight skin.
  • The Pollyanna: Barley is quite optimistic in the midst of battle, and is "happy to serve" even when he is on the verge of death.
  • Pull a Rabbit out of My Hat: Minus the hat part, he pulls a rabbit out of thin air in the win animation of his Wizard skins.
  • Punny Name: Barley is a bartender.
  • Robe and Wizard Hat: As part of his Wizard and Red Wizard skins.
  • Robot Wizard: Becomes one in his Wizard and Red Wizard skins, substituting his alcohol bottles for Fireballs.
  • Shout-Out: His Wizard skin is directly based on the troops of the same name from Clash of Clans.
  • Sticky Situation: His Sticky Syrup Mixer Gadget creates a puddle that slows down enemies who step on it.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: His Bakesale skin gives Barley a pink dress and a blonde woman wig.

    Dynamike

Release Date: 15/06/2017 (Original)
Voiced by: Jas Patrick
Alternate Skins: Santa Mike, Spicy Mike, Robo Mike, Coach/PSG Mike, Bellhop Mike, Latin America Master League Dynamike skin set (Flamengo, LDU Quito, Chivas), Moldy Mike, Classic Dynamike, Tengu Mike, Dynasty Mike, True Silver/Gold Dynamike

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dynamike_bs_full_body.png
"Who wants some TNT?"
Dynamike is an old miner and prospector who's become obsessed with explosions. Nothing makes him happier than a big boom!

A Super Rare Brawler, and part of the Gem Miners trio along with Carl and Jacky. He's a peppy and fun-loving prospector that throws sticks of dynamite at his enemies, having the ability to deal devastating damage while remaining protected by walls at the cost of his attacks taking a moment to blow up, making him a prime target for fast-moving enemies.

  • His Attack, Short Fuse, lobs two sticks of dynamite close to each other that blow up after a 1-second delay, dealing damage in a small radius around it. Each stick of dynamite deals individual damage, so an enemy might only receive damage from a single one if they move far enough from the other. This attack can be thrown over walls.
  • His Super, Big Barrel o' Boom, has Dynamike throw an entire barrel of explosives at the enemy that explodes after 1.3 seconds, dealing heavy damage, knocking them back, and destroying obstacles caught in the explosion in a medium-sized area. Just like his main attack, this can be thrown over walls.
  • His first Gadget, Fidget Spinner, makes Dynamike rapidly spin while throwing 20 sticks of dynamite around him, each one dealing 150% the damage of a dynamite from his main attack upon exploding. This will also momentarily boost his speed by 19% for 2 seconds.
  • His second Gadget, Satchel Charge, makes his next main attack stun enemies for 1.5 seconds if they get hit by it.
  • His first Star Power, Dyna-Jump, allows Dynamike to jump over obstacles using the blast of both his main attack and Super. Dynamike is completely immune to direct damage while in the air.
  • His second Star Power, Demolition, adds a damage boost to his Super equal to the damage each of the dynamites from his main attack deals.
  • His Hypercharge, Boomer, will make his Super scatter eight sticks of dynamite in a large circular radius around it after exploding, with each stick of dynamite dealing 1716 damage. He also gains 25% more damage, 25% more speed, and a 5% damage reduction shield.

  • Agitated Item Stomping: He attempts to do this with his cap in the defeat animations of his Football skins, which results in Dynamike slipping and falling to the ground.
  • All Asians Wear Conical Straw Hats: His Japanese-inspired Tengu skin wears a conical hat, which he momentarily takes off to roll on his arms in its winning animation.
  • Arm Cannon: His Robo skin shoots his explosives out of his arms in this fashion.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: If you manage to stun an enemy with the Satchel Charge Gadget, chances are this will be your strategy for the next 1.5 seconds, as the enemy will be unable to evade Dynamike's attacks and will most likely die before regaining their mobility.
  • Back from the Dead: After a gem-brainwashed Shelly blows a huge hole into him in one of the security tapes, he wakes up the next morning just fine, which startles his supposed killer. Mortis' description reveals that people seem to be unable to die in Starr Park, so he either might've been presumed dead or came back to life somehow.
  • Boring, but Practical: His Demolition Star Power just adds a hefty damage boost to his already powerful Super. Exciting or unique? No. Effective? Oh yes. For reference, a max level Dynamike's Super with this Star Power will have the third strongest non-Hypercharge attack in the game (only behind Hank's point-blank torpedoes and Griff's full coin wave with the Coin Shower Gadget), being capable of dealing 6000 points of damage to anything caught in the explosion.
  • Chef of Iron: In his Spicy skin, Dynamike goes dressed as a chef who uses peppers and hot stew to attack.
  • Christmas Episode: His Santa skin gives Dynamike a Santa Claus costume and replaces his projectiles/Super with candy canes and a gift box, respectively.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: It's quite clear Dynamike isn't all there, showing obvious joy about being a Mad Bomber whose hobby is blowing stuff up with dynamite when he isn't working in the gem mine. Even his old description referred to him as Mad Dynamike.
  • Cool, but Inefficient: The Dyna-Jump Star Power allows Dynamike to double or even triple jump if he manages to land on all his three attack explosions. However, not only this takes a while to master, but chances are that wasting your entire ammo stock to achieve this feat will only lead to trouble if you land near an enemy, as you'll be unable to defend yourself. Just stick to regular one-ammo jumps for maximum efficiency.
  • Cool Mask: Sports one based on Tengu in his Tengu skin.
  • Cool Old Guy: An elderly prospector whose idea of a good time is to litter the surrounding area with high explosives. He even lobs dynamite sticks for the fun of it!
  • Daruma Doll: His head canary takes the appearance of one of these in his Tengu skin.
  • Demolitions Expert: He shows capabilities of properly using explosives to destroy players and obstacles, or to use the blast of his projectiles to hop over walls. That doesn't stop him from being used as a Mad Bomber though.
  • Delayed Explosion: Both his regular attacks and Super take one second before they explode, often forcing Dynamike to predict his opponent's moves before throwing them.
  • Edible Ammunition:
    • His Santa skin substitutes his dynamite sticks for candy canes.
    • His Spicy skin throws peppers for his main attack, and a cooking pot full of stew for his Super.
    • His Moldy skin replaces his dynamite sticks with wedges of stinky cheese. For his Super, he throws the whole wheel of cheese instead.
  • Exploding Barrels: His Super tosses a barrel full of explosives that deals massive damage upon blowing up.
  • Fingore: A humorous example; his fingers get crushed after his jewelry-filled chest slams shut onto them in the defeat animation of his Dynasty skin.
  • Football Hooligans: His Coach, PSG, and the Latin America Master League skins turn him into a huge football fan, sporting the uniforms of PSG, Flamengo, LDU Quito, and Chivas
  • Fragile Speedster: Despite being an old man, he possesses Fast movement speed. However, he's very fragile.
  • Gas Mask Mooks: His Moldy skin gives him a gas mask, as he's carrying a wheel full of stinky cheese that can also blow up somehow.
  • Gemstone Assault: Uses explosive gems to attack in his Dynasty skin.
  • Glass Cannon: Can potentially deal a ton of damage with his attacks, but possesses very low HP.
  • Gold Tooth of Wealth: His Dynasty skin, which transforms him into a dirty rich sultan, makes his only tooth to become this.
  • Handbag of Hurt: His dynamite sticks are replaced with these in his Bellhop skin.
  • Happy Dance: His default win animation (which he shares with some of his skins) have him happily jumping and dancing.
  • Head Pet: It's easy to miss, but Dynamike is hiding a canary under his mining helmet. This gets replaced with a chicken in his Spicy skin.
  • Improbable Sports Skills: Despite his old age, he manages to perform some impressive knee bounces with a fotball in the winning animation of his Football skins.
  • Mad Bomber: His description and personality shows that he really enjoys blowing stuff up with dynamite.
  • Made of Incendium: His lanterns catch on fire in the defeat animation of his Tengu skin, forcing Dynamike to throw them into his hat to pull out the fire.
  • Mini-Mecha: His Robo skin turns Dynamike into a bulky robot controlled by his canary via a pair of joysticks.
  • The Paralyzer: His Satchel Charge Gadget will stun any enemies hit by his next pair of dynamites for 1.5 seconds.
  • Port Manteau: He's actually called Mike, but his habit of blowing stuff up with dynamite has resulted in him being nicknamed Dynamike.
  • Prospector: He's the head of the gem mining operation in Starr Park.
  • Punny Name: Dynamike attacks with dynamite.
  • Retraux: His Classic skin gives Dynamike a makeover based on his design from the beta.
  • Recursive Ammo: His Hypercharge makes his Super scatter in eight extra pieces of ammo after exploding.
  • Rocket Jump: His Dyna-Jump Star Power lets Dynamike use the explosion from his dynamite sticks to propel himself over obstacles. He can even do double or triple jumps with some practice.
  • Rocket Punch: His dynamites become explosive fists in his Robo skin, which he shoots out of Arm Cannons.
  • Spin Attack: His Fidget Spinner Gadget makes Dynamike spin while throwing dynamite all over the place.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: His entire character revolves around this. Chances are, if Dynamike is on the battlefield, expect to hear a lot of booms. Hell, his name is Dynamike after all!
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: For some reason, his eyes become gold-colored in his Tengu skin, which are the only part of his face visible behind the mask.
  • Tengu: His aptly named Tengu skin gives Dynamike a mask based on the Youkai from Japanese mythology.
  • Throw Down the Bomblet: His main attack and Super consists of Dynamike throwing dynamite and barrels full of explosives at his enemies.
  • Torso with a View: What happens to him after Shelly blows him up with her shotgun in one of the security tapes. The result isn't pretty.
  • Useless Useful Spell: His Fidget Spinner Gadget. Unremarkable speed boost, wonky hitbox (it's entirely possible for Dynamike to not hit any of his dynamites even if used right on top of an enemy) and inability to use Satchel Charge (widely agreed to be one of the most broken, toxic, and Rage Quit-inducing Gadgets in the game) make of Fidget Spinner a very undesirable choice for any Dynamike player out there.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Oh boy, where to start?
    • Is implied that by blowing up a cave and finding the supernatural gems he created the park as it is today.
    • While passing by Bull's diner, he accidentally drops a gem, causing the waiter to go crazy and become his Brawler persona, condemning Nita, Leon, and Poco to the same fate for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
    • He accidentally drops a gem into Shelly's hands, causing her to go mad for a moment and shoot him by accident, thus causing his own death.
  • Weaponized Ball: His Football skins use explosive footballs to attack his enemies.
  • Wingding Eyes: In the defeat animation of his Football skins, his eyes turn into these as he lies defeated on the ground while his head canary continuously whistles and angrily stomps on his head.

    Grom

Release Date: 22/12/2021
Voiced by: Gordon Gibson
Alternate Skins: Bunny Grom, FrankenGrom, Dasis Grom, True Silver/Gold Grom

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grom_bs_full_body.png
"More walkie, less talkie!"
Grom is a brawny security guard with one weak point: the flashbacks he gets from his time working at a kindergarten. Those kids were merciless.

An Epic Brawler, and part of the currently incomplete Castle Courtyard trio along with Ash. Grom is a watchman who patrols the castle attraction in Starr Park, making sure no one is causing trouble... especially if they are children.

Grom is a Brawler focused on zoning large areas of the map from afar with his massive, sniper-like range for a thrower, forcing enemies to advance carefully through the maelstrom of his projectiles to reach and defeat him at close-range, where his performance greatly falters.

  • His Attack, Bud Go Boom!, throws his walkie-talkie, Bud, that explodes into 4 piercing cross-shaped pattern projectiles once it hits the ground, though enemies can only get hit by one per walkie-talkie. This attack can be thrown over walls.
  • His Super, Grom Bomb, is a much bigger walkie-talkie with a larger range, radius, and damage that can also knock back enemies. The splitting projectiles can destroy walls and obstacles, but not pierce them, meaning they will disappear prematurely if they break one.
  • His first Gadget, Watchtower, drops a watchtower to allow himself and allies see enemies inside bushes around the tower in a wide radius. The tower has 1500 health and decays 75 health per second, lasting up to 20 seconds if it doesn't take any damage.
  • His second Gadget, Radio Check, throws 3 Buds consecutively on his next main attack.
  • His first Star Power, Foot Patrol, gives Grom a 15% speed bonus so long as his Super is charged, making him as fast as assassins and Brawlers with naturally high speed.
  • His second Star Power, X-Factor, grants the splits from his main attack an up to 30% bonus damage depending on how far they travel before reaching an enemy.

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: He becomes purple-skinned in his Dasis skin.
  • Big, Bulky Bomb: Grom's Super is basically the bombs from his main attack but on steroids, being much bigger and dangerous than his regular Buds.
  • Bling of War: Goes dressed with a golden armor in his Dasis skin.
  • Chained by Fashion: Wears a chain around his neck as part of his watchman uniform.
  • Companion Cube: Grom's walkie-talkies are also his best friends, even calling them Buds.
  • Difficult, but Awesome: Due to how slow his main attack is, using Grom is all about patience, practice, and the ability to predict where the enemy is going to move so the split from his explosion will always hit them. If one manages to master these requirements, Grom can become a real annoyance to the enemy team, potentially accomplishing multiple Total Party Kills over the course of the match. But if not, expect him to die a lot due to his low health and barely get any kills.
  • Easter Episode: Goes dressed as an Easter bunny in his Bunny skin.
  • Edible Ammunition: His Bunny skin uses Easter eggs as projectiles (complete with yolk coming out when they reach the ground), while his FrankenGrom uses soup cans instead.
  • Evil Overlord: His Dasis skin turns him into one of these, being based on the evil King Ravana from Ramayana.
  • Frankenstein's Monster: Turns into one in his FrankenGrom skin, with stitches and differently colored parts making up his body. His hood also gets replaced with a cardboard box.
  • Funny Foreigner: Grom speaks Intentional Engrish for Funny with a very thick Russian accent, his dialogue is peppered with Gratuitous Russian or strange Russian idioms, note  and his phobia of children is mostly Played for Laughs.
  • In the Hood: Grom is always seen wearing a hood with two eyes printed onto it. According to his Brawl Talk, Grom uses it to pretend he's happy, and loses it during his defeat animation.
  • Horns of Villainy: He gains a horned helmet in his Dasis skin, which turns him into an Evil Overlord.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: When he takes damage, his Bud may tell Grom to calm down, implying he's losing his cool.
  • Glass Cannon: Despite his bulky muscular appearance, Grom actually has low health, but his ability to deal high damage from afar makes him a good pick. If you can aim, that's it.
  • Gratuitous Russian: Some of his voice lines are said in Russian, with some of them being English-spoken Russian slang or metaphors.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Grom attacks using round walkie-talkies that somehow also function as bombs.
  • Kids Are Cruel: This is the reason why he's afraid of children. Both his description and his introduction video show that he was a former kindergarten teacher who was tormented by children before he had to resign and work in Starr Park.
"I hear the children laughing at me!"
  • Military Alphabet: While activating his Super, Grom's walkie-talkie may say "Bravo Oscar Oscar Mike", or BOOM!
  • Milking the Giant Cow: Does this pose in the victory animation of his FrankenGrom skin.
  • More Dakka: His Radio Check Gadget adds two extra Buds to Grom's next attack, basically tripling his damage.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: Averted. Despite being a visibly buff, muscular man, Grom actually has low health.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: While his Foot Patrol Star Power isn't bad per se (pretty much being the only anti-aggression tool Grom has at his disposal), the situational speed boost gained from it that forces Grom to hold onto his very powerful Super makes it the less inciting choice compared to X-Factor, which adds a permanent damage boost to Grom's main attack and allows him to be even more of a nuisance to his enemies.
  • Painfully Slow Projectile: Among every other thrower, Grom stands out due to his bombs being noticeably slower and taking a bit to reach the ground. However, the massive distance he can throw them at and their split granting them extra range make up for it.
  • Russian Guy Suffers Most: As if working at Starr Park wasn't enough suffering, Grom also seems to have heavy PTSD regarding his past work with children, making him one of the most unfortunate Brawlers in the game.
"Back then, we all had to suffer."
  • Shout-Out: His Dasis skin is based on Ravana, the Big Bad of Ramayana.
  • Sinister Scimitar: His head-shaped bombs split into these in his Dasis skin.
  • Situational Damage Attack: His main attack can become this if Grom has the X-Factor Star Power, as it'll deal more damage the farther the split travels before hitting an enemy.
  • Spy Speak: Some of the walkie-talkie voicelines are like this, vaguely referring to a "bear" or other random innocuous-sounding word.
"The bear is in the circus."
    "Don't forget the milk."
"The panflute is in the kitchen."
  • Stepford Smiler: According to his introduction, the only reason Grom is always seen wearing his hoodie is to pretend he's happy, as the smile he shows is actually one of nervousness, not joy.
  • Swallowed Whole: This happens to him in the defeat animation of his FrankenGrom skin, courtesy of his sentient toothy backpack eating him.
  • Throw Down the Bomblet: His main attack and Super consist of throwing walkie-talkie-bomb hybrids that split upon touching the ground.
  • Trauma Button: Him seeing his fellow Brawlers wreck havoc in the castle attraction in his introduction video is enough for Grom to start hyperventilating and have flashbacks of his traumatic past.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: He's apparently terrified of children.

    Larry & Lawrie

Release Date: 25/01/2024
Voiced by: Martin Schjøler
Alternate Skins: Larry & Lawrie Controllers, Glitch Larry & Lawrie, True Silver/Gold Larry & Lawrie

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/larry_n_lawrie.png
"Don't be fools, follow the rules!" "The law will find you!"

Larry sells tickets to Starr Park visitors under the watchful eye of his twin, Lawrie. Larry loves rules, they make life easier! Lawrie doesn't love rules so much as enforcing them. They make a good team.

Epic Brawlers, and part of the currently incomplete Starr Park Security trio along with R-T. They're a pair of robotic twins in charge of enforcing the law in Starr Park and make sure rules are being met, having a classic Good Cop/Bad Cop dynamic with each other. In battle, the player will always be in control of Larry, with Lawrie being summoned via their Super.

With both of them being on an equal power level and Lawrie having a noticeably sharp artificial intelligence in spite of being a spawnable, Larry & Lawrie stand out as truly being two Brawlers in a sole package, with each one having vastly different gameplays that, when combined together to cover each brother's weaknesses, can make of them an unstoppable duo in the right hands.

  • Their Attack, Ticket Dispenser, has Larry throw a bundle of tickets that explode upon making contact with the ground, dealing damage to anything standing in the explosion area. One second later, another explosion will occur on the same spot, having a slightly bigger radius than the first one but dealing the same amount of damage. This attack can be thrown over walls.
  • Their Super, Call For Backup, calls Lawrie, Larry's big brother, by throwing a signal nearby. Lawrie will have the same amount of health as Larry, moves in an erratic partner near his brother (similarly to bot-controlled Brawlers in regular matches), and attacks with a stun gun that shoots 8 bolts of electricity with a slight, shotgun-like spread (3 bolts followed by 5 for each attack), meaning he'll deal more damage the closer he's to the enemy. Lawrie doesn't naturally regenerate nor can be healed by external factors.
  • Their first Gadget, Order: Swap, will exchange Larry and Lawrie's weapons. The weapon swap will remain active even if either Larry or Lawrie are defeated, meaning the only way to swap weapons back is using this Gadget again.
  • Their second Gadget, Order: Fall Back, will make Larry and Lawrie quickly dash towards each other and exchange map positions while also healing them for 25% of their maximum health. This Gadget can be used even if there's a wall/obstacle between Larry and Lawrie, although they'll be stopped (but still heal up) upon colliding with said obstacle.
  • Their first Star Power, Protocol: Protect!, will transfer 30% of the damage taken by Larry to Lawrie. Larry and Lawrie need to be within 12 tiles of each other for this Star Power to work, otherwise Larry will take damage as normal.
  • Their second Star Power, Protocol: Assist, will recharge 30% of one of Larry's ammo bars for each bolt of electricity/ticket explosion Lawrie hits an enemy Brawler with.

  • Abnormal Ammo: Larry attacks with a ticket dispenser that shoots ticket bundles. Which then explode twice somehow.
  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Downplayed with Lawrie, as he's more hostile than Larry, but he keep his programming as a security robot and law enforcer nonetheless.
  • Artificial Brilliance: Part of what makes Lawrie stand out compared to other mobile spawnables is the fact he behaves more like a computer-controlled Brawler than one, and may be even smarter than that: rather than actively chase enemies down until either them or him are defeated, Lawrie will move erratically around them and try keep his distance to survive as long as possible, as well as flank opponents around walls if necessary. In addition, if Larry is nearby, Lawrie will also attempt to engage in teamwork with his brother, staying close so both of them can protect each other and take advantage of their Gadgets and Star Powers. Overall, this makes Lawrie resemble some sort of additional teammate instead of just a pet, which ties with both of them counting as a single Brawler.
  • Back-to-Back Badasses: They do this pose in their winning animation.
  • Bunny Ears Picture Prank: Their icon has Larry doing this to Lawrie, much to his annoyance.
  • Cooldown Manipulation: Their Protocol: Assist Star Power will recharge 30% of one of Larry's ammo bars each time Lawrie hits an enemy Brawler with his own projectiles.
  • Enemy Summoner: Their Super involves Larry summoning Lawrie to fight alongside him. Unlike other spawnables such as Nita's bear or Mr. P's porters, Lawrie won't actively chase enemies down, but rather stay close to Larry while moving erratically and attacking whatever comes near his brother, acting as some sort of computer-controlled bodyguard for him.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Lawrie has a much deeper voice compared to Larry, who is said to be the good cop to Lawrie's bad cop.
  • Evil Twin: Downplayed. Lawrie is explicitly referred as the "bad cop" in contrast to Larry's "good cop", but said title seems to come from the fact Lawrie is more brutish and harsher than Larry instead of outright evil. He doesn't even seem to have an antagonistic relationship with Larry, unlike most other examples of this trope.
  • Fragile Speedster: Both of them have Fast speed, but rather low survivability without backing each other up.
  • Glass Cannon: Both of them excel at some form of offensive power (burst damage for Larry, DPS for Lawrie), but they got low health to compensate.
  • Glitch Entity: Both of them become this in their aptly named Glitch skins, appearing as cybernetic beings who glitch into existence during their winning animation.
  • Good Cop/Bad Cop: They have this dynamic with each other as part of the security staff of Starr Park, with Larry being the easygoing good one in charge of selling tickets for the park's attractions, while Lawrie is the more aggressive bad one in charge of enforcing the park's rules.
  • Heal Thyself: A secondary effect of their Order: Fall Back Gadget is healing both of them for 25% of their maximum health. It's actually the only way Lawrie can heal up at all.
  • Identical Twin ID Tag: Larry has a lighter color palette, a hat with a happy face, and carries around a ticket dispenser, while Lawrie has a darker color palette, a hat with a police star, and uses a stun gun instead.
  • Living Apart: It's hard to notice with their in-game models, but their artwork and official animations show that their heads slightly float above their necks.
  • Midfight Weapon Exchange: Their Order: Swap Gadget will allow them to exchange weapons if Lawrie is on the battlefield, meaning Larry will attack with Lawrie's stun gun while Lawrie will throw Larry's tickets. Unless another Gadget is used, the swap will be permanent.
  • Punny Name: Lawrie is in charge of enforcing the law in Starr Park.
  • Robo Family: They're a pair of robotic twin siblings who serve as security guards in Starr Park.
  • Rules Lawyer: Larry is apparently very fond of rules, with a good chunk of his voicelines including the word "rule" one way or another.
  • Shout-Out: Their Controllers skins are an obvious reference to the Nintendo Switch.
  • Static Stun Gun: Lawrie attacks with one of these, although it's Downplayed since it doesn't actually stun enemies.
  • Synchronization: Their Protocol: Protect! Star Power functions as this, letting Lawrie take 30% of the damage Larry would've suffered instead.
  • Tag Team Twins: They're a pair of twins who count as a single Brawler, although the player is only able to control Larry.
  • Theme Twin Naming: Larry and Lawrie.
  • Trick Bomb: Larry's main attack serves as this, being a bomb that explodes twice over the course of one second once it touches the ground.
  • Video Game Dashing: Their Order: Fall Back Gadget involves Larry and Lawrie quickly dashing towards each other's positions, swapping places in the map.
  • Wonder Twin Powers: Both of their Gadgets and Star Powers revolve around Larry and Lawrie being on the battlefield at the same time, meaning that, unless Larry manages to charge his Super and summon his brother, he won't have any extra tools to deal with the enemy.

Alternate Skins: Lil Helper Penny, Bunny/Dark Bunny Penny, Smuggler Penny, Trash Panda Penny, True Silver/Gold Penny

"Let's go!"
Penny doesn't care about studying old maps or puzzling over sea shanty riddles. She's a pirate so she can blow stuff up and grab whatever she wants!

A Super Rare Brawler, and part of the Pirate trio along with Darryl and Tick. She's a young, passionate pirate and swashbuckler who attacks enemies with her flintlock, which instead of bullets, fires some rather abnormal ammo.

Penny is a Brawler oriented towards making enemies think twice before grouping together near her, as both her main attack and her Super can punish those who might try protecting themselves behind a teammate or spawnables.

  • Her Attack, Plunderbuss, fires bags of fool's gold which, upon hitting an enemy, will split into a Spread Shot of 3 coin clumps that travel a few extra tiles and can hit enemies behind the target as well. These coin clumps deal 75% the damage of a coin bag, but an enemy can be hit by more than one clump at once.
  • Her Super, Old Lobber, has her placing a stationary cannon that works like a mortar, firing to enemies from across the map even through obstacles in a massive range around it. The cannonballs are fired every 3.5 seconds at a rather low travel speed, deal damage on impact, and set the ground around the landing zone on fire for 3 seconds, inflicting 22% of the cannonball's damage per second.
  • Her first Gadget, Salty Barrel, places a barrel that possesses 35% of her maximum health and serves as a shield against non-piercing attacks. In addition, Penny can use this barrel to split her own gold pouches without having to hit an enemy, dealing 100 damage to the barrel every time she attacks it.
  • Her second Gadget, Trusty Spyglass, makes Penny call an attack from her cannon, blasting every target visible in its range instantly.
  • Her first Star Power, Heavy Coffers, increases the coin clumps released from her gold pouch to 5 instead of 3, augmenting their width and overall damage.
  • Her second Star Power, Master Blaster, lets Penny damage enemies and knock them back by throwing her cannon at them. The damage dealt will be equal to 70% of her main attack's non-spread shots.

  • Abnormal Ammo: Her pistol shoots bags full of fool's gold.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Becomes green-skinned in her Trash Panda skin.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Her Trash Panda skin loses her right hand, which she uses as a weapon to shoot bones out of it.
  • Ankle Drag: She's dragged underground by her own detached hand in the defeat animation of her Trash Panda skin.
  • Attack Animal: She carries around a raccoon in her Trash Panda skin, which helps Penny by tossing flaming garbage out of a trash can in place of her cannon.
  • Ballistic Bone: Her Trash Panda skin shoots bandaged hands that, upon hitting a target, will split into a barrage of bones.
  • Bandaged Face: Sports a notable bandage in place of her eyepatch in her Trash Panda skin.
  • Cast from Hit Points: A variation. Penny can summon a barrel shield with her Salty Barrel Gadget that she can use to make her own gold pouches explode, dealing 100 damage to the barrel in the process.
  • Christmas Elves: Her Lil Helper skin turns her into one of these, shooting bags of Christmas decorations that split into Christmas tree spheres.
  • Crying Critters: Her pet raccoon does this after she's dragged underground in the defeat animation of her Trash Panda skin, sadly staring at the spot Penny used to be.
  • Death from Above: Her role as Artillery is based on her cannon's ability to target enemies even above obstacles.
  • Deployable Cover: Her Salty Barrel Gadget allows her to place barrels that protect her while also allowing her to hit enemies with her exploding gold pouches while under cover.
  • Dressed to Plunder: Her main outfit has an eyepatch, a striped shirt, and the gold hoop earrings.
  • Easter Episode: Both her Bunny and Dark Bunny skins dress Penny in an Easter bunny outfit.
  • Edible Ammunition: She shoots carrots in her Bunny skins.
  • Eyepatch of Power: She possesses a skull-shaped one as part of her pirate outfit. Judging by the scar barely visible underneath, it doesn't appear to be just for show.
  • Finger Firearms: Her Trash Panda skin uses Penny's detached hand as a "gun", shooting bandaged hands out of it that split into bones.
  • Fireballs: Her cannonballs are actually these, setting the ground on fire for 3 seconds wherever they hit.
  • Hair-Raising Hare: Her Dark Bunny skin, being a darker and more sinister-looking version of her regular Bunny skin.
  • Human Cannonball: This accidentally happens to her in her defeat animation, where she angrily kicks her cannon before sitting on it in defeat, only for the cannon to blast Penny into the sky and make her painfully land onto the ground.
  • Jack of All Stats: Penny actually has pretty decent health for someone of her size, but the damage from her individual projectiles is below average, only leaving a considerable dent if she manages to hit her enemies with the Splash Damage from it.
  • Money Mauling: Her blunderbuss shoots pouches of coins, which in turn act as an exploding Spread Shot when it hits a target.
  • More Dakka: Her Heavy Coffers Star Power makes Penny shoot 5 gold coin clumps instead of just 3, greatly increasing her DPS.
  • One-Way Visor: Wears a helmet with one of these in her Smuggler skin.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: Her Trash Panda skin turns Penny into a schoolgirl-zombie hybrid who attacks with her own detached hand.
  • Pirate Girl: She's a young girl who attacks with a cannon, Talk Like a Pirate, and wears a conventional pirate outfit.
  • Punny Name: Penny uses pennies as ammunition.
  • Ray Gun: Her blunderbuss gets replaced with one of these in her Smuggler skin, although its projectiles are more akin to skull-shaped bombs that split into energy orbs.
  • Rise from Your Grave: She rises from the ground in this manner in the win animation of her Trash Panda skin.
  • Sailor Fuku: Goes dressed with one of these in her Trash Panda skin.
  • Space Pirate: The theme of her Smuggler skin. She's wearing futuristic armor and a helmet with a skull spraypainted on it, and wielding a Ray Gun.
  • Splash Damage: Her main specialty is dealing with enemies who prefer to be bunched up or try act as a Bulletproof Human Shield towards an ally or objective, whether with her main attack or her Super.
  • Spread Shot: Her gold pouches divide into multiple gold clumps upon hitting a target, dealing massive damage to anyone or anything standing behind it. Her Salty Barrel Gadget summons a barrel she can use to split her gold pouches, dealing Splash Damage even if she's facing only one enemy, allowing her to comfortably engage in a 1v1.
  • Talk Like a Pirate: Her voice is rather coarse and she talks like she's constantly inebriated. She even does the classic "Arrr!" when taking damage.
  • Throwing Your Gun at the Enemy: With her Master Blaster Star Power, Penny can throw her own cannon at enemies when spawning it, knocking them back and dealing 70% of her main attack damage, acting as some sort of last resort if she gets rushed.

    Sprout

Release Date: 03/04/2020
Alternate Skins: Tropical Sprout, Lunar Sprout, Emerald Prince/Ruby Prince Sprout, Corrupted Sprout, True Silver/Gold Sprout

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sprout_bs_full_body.png
"Job done. Have a nice day."
Sprout appears to be a cute gardening robot who helps Rosa around the Biodome, but it's actually an incubator with arms and wheels for a strange pink seed!

A Mythic Brawler, and part of the Biology Team trio along with Rosa and Bea. It's a sentient, friendly plant created by Rosa and put into a cybernetic chassis, complete with a poker face sticky note acting as its "face."

Sprout is a Brawler with average damage and defenses whose true strength revolves around its extremely unique and game-changing Super that can entirely alter the gameplay choices of both friends and foes, making it a risky but rewarding pick in the right hands.

  • Its Attack, Seed Bomb, lobs a ball of seeds that explodes upon contact with a target. If it doesn’t immediately hit an enemy, it will bounce around for a bit before exploding in a medium-sized area. The bomb will also bounce off walls, which allows it to travel further. This attack can be thrown over walls.
  • Its Super, Hedge, lobs a big seed over obstacles that, upon contact with the ground, creates a plant-based barrier that acts as another wall, blocking both allies and enemies' paths and being destructible by wall-breaking abilities. This barrier has a 3-by-3, 5-tile cross pattern from the center, and if there are any walls at most one tile away adjacent to where the seed was planted, the hedge will grow towards them and connect with the walls, effectively increasing the Super's width. The hedges can last for a maximum of 10 seconds, and more than one hedge can be active on the field at a time. If any entity is in the way of the hedges when spawned, they will be pushed out of the way, which also interrupts attacks or Supers when the hedge lands. The hedges will also destroy any bushes it lands on.
  • Its first Gadget, Garden Mulcher, makes Sprout absorb the nearest bush tile and heal it for 30% of its maximum health.
  • Its second Gadget, Transplant, instantly destroys all of Sprout's Supers on the field in exchange for fully charging its Super again.
  • Its first Star Power, Overgrowth, gives Sprout a bar that charges every 5 seconds and, when full, will increase the radius of its main attack's explosion by 25%.
  • Its second Star Power, Photosynthesis, gives Sprout a shield that reduces damage by 30% whenever it enters a bush. If Sprout exits the bush, the shield will last for another 3 seconds.
  • Its Hypercharge, Thorns, will damage enemies who stay close to the hedge for 500 damage per second. This effect will last until the hedge disappears even after Sprout's Hypercharge ends. It also gains 25% more damage, 25% more speed, and a 5% damage reduction shield.

  • Arm Cannon: Both of its mechanical arms can open up to shoot explosive balls of seeds at its enemies.
  • Beach Episode: Its Tropical skin gives Sprout a Hawaiian shirt, a pair of Cool Shades drawn on its sticky note, and replaces its sprout with a coconut palm.
  • The Blank: Its mechanical chasis doesn't have a face, which is why it uses a sticky note to convey "emotions" (i.e. a permanent poker face).
  • Cool Shades: Its sticky note gains a pair of drawn shades in its Tropical skin.
  • Cute Machines: Even though Sprout's not really a robot, the silly sticky note with a poker face attached to its chasis, its polite manner of speaking, and the happy tunes it sometimes lets out whenever it's in the lead definitely makes it a cute plant-robot hybrid.
  • Damage Reduction: Its Photosynthesis Star Power grants Sprout a 30% shield whenever it enters a bush.
  • Deployable Cover: Sprout's main appeal and reason to be used over other throwers lies in its ability to create plant-based walls that function like every other wall in the game with its Super, allowing it to block paths, chokepoints, and alter the map layout at its own leisure to either prevent foes from advancing or protect its teammates from enemy fire.
  • Dub Name Change: The Italian translation calls it Semino (small seed), the French localization calls it Wally (an obvious reference to WAllE), the Polish translation calls it Kletek, and the Vietnamese translation calls it Rô Bốt Rau Mầm (literally sprout robot).
  • Excalibur in the Stone: The theme of both of its Prince skins, which replace Sprout's plant with a sword that bring the original tale to mind.
  • Edible Ammunition: Its Lunar skin uses carrots to attack.
  • Expressive Accessory: Its sticky note changes how it's drawn according to its various pins.
  • Fantastic Flora: Sprout is a sentient plant engineered by Rosa, capable of real emotion even through its Machine Monotone Robo Speak.
  • Fishbowl Helmet: The mechanical chasis of its Lunar skin takes the appearance of an astronaut helmet.
  • Flipping Helpless: Happens to it in the defeat animation of its Lunar skin.
  • Foul Flower: Its Corrupted skin turns Sprout into a creepy-looking carnivorous plant, and "The Biodome" animation shows it trying to attack Meg for no reason.
  • The Good King: Both of its Prince skins are medieval-king themed, giving Sprout a king's garb and placing a paper cutout of a crown on its sticky note.
  • Green Thumb: Sprout is an artificial plant that attacks by lobbing balls of seeds out of its Arm Cannons, and its Garden Mulcher Gadget and Photosynthesis Star Power require bushes to work.
  • The Hedge of Thorns: The hedges from its Super become thorny with its Hypercharge, making enemies take damage if they stay close to them.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: It sacrifices itself to save Meg from the Biodome's corruption in "The Biodome" animation.
  • Hyperactive Metabolism: Its Garden Mulcher Gadget allows Sprout to recover 30% maximum health by eating a bush tile.
  • Jack of All Stats: Sprout has moderate to average health and damage, with its true strength being its potentially game-changing, map-altering Super.
  • Meaningful Name: It's a baby plant (as in, a sprout) controlling a robot to move around.
  • Moon Rabbit: The theme of its Lunar skin, where Sprout's chasis becomes a Fishbowl Helmet with rabbit ears, its main attack shoots carrots wrapped in moon soil, and the hedge of its Super takes the appearance of asteroids.
  • Nature-Loving Robot: Subverted. It appears to be this at first glance, but turns out to be a nature-loving plant instead, considering that Sprout is actually a sprout inside a mechanical body.
    "I like trees."
  • Non-Human Non-Binary: Along with 8-Bit, Sprout is one of the only Brawlers in the game with no designated gender (something even robotic Brawlers have), with official sources referring to it as, well, "it".
  • Robo Speak: Sprout has the most robotic-sounding voice out of every mechanical Brawler in the game (which is kinda ironic, consider it isn't even a robot in the first place), speaking in very short Machine Monotone sentences with no emotion shown in any of them.
  • Robot Buddy: One could say that Sprout is Rosa and Bea's robot bud.
  • Scary Teeth: Its sticky note gains these in its Corrupted skin.
  • Senseless Sacrifice: Sacrifices itself to protect Meg in the Biodome trailer but becomes an out-of-control monster in the process, which puts Meg in danger anyway.
  • Shout-Out: As mentioned above, Sprout's French name is a reference to WAllE.

    Tick

Release Date: 26/06/2019
Voiced by: Martin Schjøler
Alternate Skins: King Crab Tick, Snowman Tick, Tick Shooky, Cerberus Tick, Mecha-Tick Ghidorah (Normal, Dark, and Light), True Silver/Gold Tick

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tick_bs_full_body.png
Tick follows Penny around like a pet as she plots her next big scheme. He isn't good for much besides blowing things up, but that's usually plenty!

A Super Rare Brawler, and part of the Pirate trio along with Darryl and Penny. He's a robotic pirate and explosives expert in charge of the heavy artillery in his pirate crew.

Tick is a Brawler specialized in providing huge amounts of area control for his team, possessing a huge range and projectiles that deter enemies from advancing towards certain areas, having the ability to hold his line quite easily. However, this comes at the cost of him being the true definition of a Glass Cannon.

  • His Attack, Minimines, throws three mines in a triangular formation that detonate either when they hit a target or after two seconds, creating a blockade for enemies who'll have to wait for the mines to explode or risk receiving damage. These mines travel quite slowly in the air and their spread increases the further they're thrown away. This attack can be thrown over walls.
  • His Super, Headfirst, has Tick detaching his head to chase the nearest target, self-destructing on contact, damaging and knocking back enemies, and destroying obstacles around it. The head can be defeated to avoid taking damage from it, but the explosion will still destroy obstacles and damage enemies around the explosion radius.
  • His first Gadget, Mine Mania, makes Tick's next attack deploy 6 mines instead of the usual 3. The mines will be thrown in a circle formation that spreads more the further they travel, but are otherwise the same.
  • His second Gadget, Last Hurrah, gives Tick a shield that protects him from 50% damage for 1 second. After this, the shield will explode and deal damage equal to a single of his main attack mines around him while knocking enemies back.
  • His first Star Power, Well Oiled, decreases his natural regeneration delay by 2 seconds, allowing him to start regaining health 1 second after being damaged or attacking instead of the usual 3 seconds.
  • His second Star Power, Automa-Tick Reload, increases the reload speed of his main attack by 9%, going from 2.4 to 2.18 seconds.
  • His Mythic Gear, Thicc Head, adds 1000 extra health to Tick's Super.
  • His Hypercharge, Headstrong decreases the unload speed of his Super and increases the head's movement speed, which deploys six of mines upon destruction. Each of these mines is as strong as Tick's Super, and will be deployed even if an enemy isn't hit by it. He also gains 25% more damage, 26% more speed, and a 5% damage reduction shield.

  • Action Bomb: His Super allows him to detach his head, which will automatically chase down the nearest target, self-destructing either on contact or when destroyed.
  • Arm Cannon: Instead of arms, Tick has a pair of cannons from where he shoots his mines.
  • Boring, but Practical: While most throwers tend to verge into this territory thanks to their passive-oriented gameplay, Tick's laughably low health that forces him to be extra cautious, low recharge rate, and kit that doesn't bring a lot of opportunities for flashy plays can make of him a pretty boring and tedious Brawler to play. However, the massive utility and area denial that his mines provide and his ability to reliably poke most Brawlers to death tend to be good enough incentives for players to look past his unexciting gameplay and make him work regardless.
  • Cooldown Manipulation: His Automa-Tick Reload Star Power slightly increases his reload time by 9%, allowing him to turn the map into a minefield more frequently.
  • Damage Reduction: His Last Hurrah Gadget gives Tick a 1-second shield that protects him from 50% of incoming damage.
  • Death of a Thousand Cuts: While each of Tick's individual mines deal average damage, the frequency he can throw them at and the fact he can shoot three at once means that opponents caught in the middle of his minefields will most likely be destroyed regardless of it.
  • Detachment Combat: Tick's Super consists on his head separating from his body and chasing down the nearest Brawler to explode and deal damage.
  • Everything Makes a Mushroom: His Super creates a mushroom cloud in the form of a dog head in his Cerberus skin.
  • Giant Enemy Crab: His King Crab skin is based on these, belonging to a skin set based on the Kaiju monsters of Super City.
  • Glass Cannon: Tick has the lowest health out of any Brawler in the game, so even Brawlers with low or insufficient burst damage can defeat him in a couple of hits. On the other hand, Tick can be a big real annoyance thanks to his great range, ability to attack over walls, and the incredible amount of area denial and utility his mines provide, so a skilled Tick will often than not maintain himself very far away from the enemy team while blasting them with mines and preventing them from advancing, letting his teammates take care of the rest.
  • Healing Factor: While all Brawlers have the ability to regain their health after a few seconds of not attacking or receiving damage, Tick is notable for his Well Oiled Star Power allowing him to reach this regenerative state 2 seconds faster than every other Brawler in the game.
  • Hellhound: Becomes one in his Cerberus skin, with each of his Arm Cannons turning into a dog head.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: In the defeat animation of his Cerberus skin, a mine rolls right in front of him before detonating, knocking him out and giving him Wingding Eyes.
  • Homing Projectile: His Super will always chase down the nearest target until it detonates, not stopping for anything else.
  • Meaningful Name: Tick uses time mines to attack the enemy. Tic tac is the stereotypical sound effect of Time Bombs counting down.
  • Mechanical Monster: His Ghidorah skin transforms him into a mechanical version of the eponymous kaiju.
  • More Dakka: His Mine Mania Gadget doubles the amount of mines fired from his main attack once activated.
  • Playing with Fire: His Cerberus skin replaces his mines with fiery dog heads.
  • Recursive Ammo: His Hypercharged Super deploys six mines in a circular fashion upon being destroyed.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Snowlems: His Snowman skin transform him into one of these.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: Much like Dynamike, his entire character revolves around this. With the exception of the Well Oiled Star Power, which simply decreases his regeneration delay, the rest of his attacks, Gadgets, and Star Power involves some sort of destruction.
  • Super-Persistent Missile: Once detached, Tick's head will chase down the nearest Brawler until it either hits them or is destroyed.
  • Team Pet: He seems to be this for the Pirate trio (particularly Penny) according to his official description.
  • Throw Down the Bomblet: Tick mainly attacks firing mines and bombs from either his Arm Cannons or his detachable explosive head.
  • The Unintelligible: All of Tick's voice lines consist of varying tones of metallic blathering.
  • Use Your Head: His Super detaches Tick's head, which transforms into a Super-Persistent Missile that will chase down the nearest Brawler until it either hits them or is destroyed.
  • Useless Useful Spell: His Mine Mania Gadget. In contrast with Last Hurrah, which gives Tick a heavy Damage Reduction shield that can also knockback aggressive melee Brawlers (i.e. his main weakness), Mine Mania simply adds three extra mines to his next main attack, which isn't as useful since the covered area will be about the same and Tick's main job isn't dealing damage anyway, but preventing enemies from advancing in the first place, something that the three mines from his regular attack already accomplish just well.
  • When All You Have Is a Hammer…: His description states he isn't good at anything other than blowing things up, but that's usually plenty to get the job done.
  • Why Am I Ticking?: His Last Hurrah Gadget grants him a 50% damage resistance for 1 second and has him exploding shortly after, dealing damage.
