Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

> but there isn't very much of it,
There's 45 episodes of the TV show, then there's life of brain, meaning of life ect
It doesn't seem like much, but it's enough, more then Firefly had anyway
New theme music also a boxIs Monty Python even quoted that much anymore?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."No its not
New theme music also a boxDepends on who your friend group is, really.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.The newest episode of the Vanguard reboot today...
It was SO good!
I just... I just keep fangirling! I can't stop fangirling about it!
Aichi! <3
Did someone say Eternal Darkness?
Do you ever just... type something, contemplate posting it, realise you'd probably get in trouble for it and not end up posting it? Or post something then delete it?
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeAnd you have?
I did! I've never played the game and know next to nothing of the story, but I've always found the idea of the sanity effects very exciting and interesting.
Considering one of my characters is mentally strained anyway, it'd be fun to imagine him going through some similar hallucinations (Although not all of them. Some of them wouldn't translate well to outside of the game [Namely the ones like 'erasing your save data'. I can't see how that one would translate to someone actually experiencing it since they don't have a... well, save menu]).
YES. Many times. I get extremely paranoid about what I want to post and then I just... don't post.
Either that or I do post and then I'm like "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO I'M GONNA LOOK LIKE A MAJOR MORON AND EVERYONE'S GONNA HATE ME! GOTTA EDIT, GOTTA EDIT, GOTTA DELETE, GOTTA DELETE!"
Should video games be priced consistently or based on production? On one hand, people pay consistent amounts for admission. On the other hand, things require different amounts of money to produce.
It pains me to know that some, if not most, of my fellow tropers will never know the wonderful culinary bliss that is Waffle Love.

I'm watching the movie Medusa against the Son of Hercules via Svengoolie. It sounds like they're speaking dubbed English. :S

I like to keep my audience riveted.Oh nice, I randomly decide to check this thread and see something involving Medusa.
I love my timing.
Stupid doomed timeline...They added the 'search by poster' bar back into the forums.
In related news, I can now functionally use the forums again.
oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘Is it just me, or is the average skill level for online games lower on the North American servers than it is on European ones? I noticed this watching Dr Disrespect play PUBG today: his opponents did so much stupid shit that just wouldn't fly on EU servers. I switched to NA servers and tried playing, and guess what, the stupid shit was there. I managed to survive a long-range shootout that I initiated (neither happens to me on EU servers), I saw a guy blunder into the room I was in, seeing me clearly, and failing to engage me before I opened fire, I managed to take out two guys entering the room where I was through two different windows in the space of half a minute or so...
Is it the Americans sucking or Eastern Europeans being lunatic tryhards? Because yeah, I'm assuming that most of the biggest cyborgs on EU servers are either Russian or Ukrainian.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisThe skill level on Japanese servers dwarfs that of either, so...
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Does anyone else think I'm weird for thinking that HYDRA is the reason that the Authority came to power in Rage?
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Could just also be a higher percentage of players on North American servers at any given moment are newbs/not really that hardcore. Is there more of a social stigma in Europe about being a casual gamer, like, I dunno, you're derided as a n00b if you show your inexperience to veteran players and looked at like a man-baby from the people who don't play period?
Being European myself, I can confirm that Russian players are scary, at least in some games.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years.Yeah the Russians are tricky.
HiIs it normal to be interested in watching anime for the story and characters rather than the fights?
I'm worried I'm "not a true fan" or something since I don't get into the fights or some of the stuff other fans of stuff do.
Because let's face it... I don't watch Vanguard for the cardfights. I don't watch Yu-Gi-Oh! for the duels. I don't watch pretty much any of the anime I watch for anything like that.
I watch for the story, the drama, the characters, the attachment, the feelings it gives...
Stuff like that.
One reason I'm afraid of posting in any of the Gundam threads despite getting interested in it. I'm not really equipped to discuss the technicalities of the series because for some reason a lot of stuff just goes over my head...
And I'm worried that if people were to learn that I don't really think too much about the Mobile Suits that they'd insult me or something.
Because let's face it: My favorite Mobile Suits are mostly the effeminate or cute ones. I don't take into account strength or technical details...
People would hate me for that alone.
We consume media to enjoy it in our own way. Depending on how you enjoy it is up to you. Your opinion will be argued against and whether you think those arguments hold weight is also up to you.
I won't deny that the absurd and well choreographed violence was the appeal of anime when I first discovered it. I eventually dug deeper and found shows whose strengths weren't action.
The fans are why I dropped anime entirely. Regardless if they're educated or not, they won't stop rubbing their opinion in your face and it's become exhausting.

Personally I'd rather drop the fans than the anime itself.
It really is better to watch something by yourself and not mix in stress over filtering other people's opinions and actions relating to it.
I think it's a better way of appreciating the work more.

Monty Python is one of those things that a lot of people loved very much and is very quippy and quotable, but there isn't very much of it, so they pore over what there is and end up quoting so much you could just about reconstruct the entire work from what gets quoted regularly. Firefly is much the same.
