This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

The Bible needs the "Trope Namer for" list removed. Trope Namer is trivia, so the list belongs there (I've already moved it).
I just caught the Example Indentation in Music.The Lonely Island.
Just sayin', so that nobody starts complaining.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI launched The Face as a supertrope for characters in a Five Man Band that have social skills as their speciality. I'm asking for it to be placed on the Five Man Band's page so it can get more exposure.
@1748: You sure? I'm a bit unclear on the levels of meta involved in that one. Seems like he's being accused of making a Seinfeld Is Unfunny style of mistake. Am I right?
@1749: Done
@1750: Done
@1751: Done and the main page redirected.
@1752: Done
@1754: Please give me finished markup. Don't just say "add it".

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"If you're talking to Septimus Heap, he already fixed the Example Indentation. What indices were The Lonely Island on? I need to replace the links on those.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Woops, I meant the one about The Face.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"America Saves the Day needs some changing, in the Literature section:
From this:
* TomClancy, being a fan of {{Eagleland}}, loves this trope. Fully half of the novels in his Ryanverse feature American firepower saving the day. In the other half, it's American know-how, American hard work, or American honesty, as long as they aren't sabotaged by [[StrawmanPolitical Strawman Liberals]]. Sometimes a combination of these is thrown in for the sake of variety, and in fairness, other countries do get to help out from time to time.
** In ''The Bear and the Dragon'', the US sends an armored division and a fighter wing to help Russia hold off an invasion from China. It's made plain that the Russians wouldn't have won without US aid.
** ''RainbowSix'' actually subverts this; the guy who ends up saving the day is a ''Russian'' who eventually alerts the Rainbow agents of the plot to [[spoiler: spread viral agents at the Olympics.]]

All your safe space are belong to TrumpDidn't seem to get an answer for 1746.
Did that. Please don't escape the markup like that, just put it in the post. I can click Edit and copy it.
Again, I question the need to make edits to archived pages even for wick changes, but I went ahead and did those.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Didn't catch that before. Sorry.
For the Monster/Disney page: 1. We'd need to add in that in Valentine's novel "Fairest of All", the Queen was presented in a more Woobie Destroyer of Worlds line of presentation (the exact level being somewhat similar to how Kefka Palazzo was portrayed as such in Dissidia Final Fantasy).
2. We might need to add in the asylum guy from Beauty and the Beast, assuming he fits.
Sorry about the escaping thing, hadn't had need to use this thread before.* Anyway, thanks.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpOn Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch, the page quote should be replaced with this one from the quotes page:
->"Because guess what? You might not know everything about a genre you refuse to listen to." —>—sisabet, Hate the Song, Like the Vid?
The current quote isn't an example, see this thread for more details.
EDIT: Hmm. Quote formatting doesn't seem to work properly on the forums.
edited 23rd Jan '12 6:02:17 PM by MyTimingIsOff
No, it doesn't. Quote formatting was already a topic earlier in this thread. But it isn't a problem - the moderators just edit your post and copy the content over into the page, where it does display.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman@1762: Please take that to the dedicated thread for Complete Monster cleanup. We've gone to a lot of trouble to... purify the article, for lack of a better term.
@1764: Done.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"DarthWiki.ptitler7tmx55n, the former place of DarthWiki.Tropers Law, was cut despite having 51 inbounds. Can it be redirected to DarthWiki.Tropers Law?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFifty-one? That's not very impressive to keep a ptitle.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It's mostly for consistency reasons. AFAIK, the upper inbound limit for ptitle redirects is 10.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOkay, well, I made it a redirect.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Thanks.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI created a page for Medibot, and I'd like it to be added to the list of "Pages For Specific Let's Players" on the main Let's Play page, please.
Please provide links to articles you want edited and full markup for any edits you are requesting — we aren't going to do your homework for you.
In this case, I see that you created Main.Medibot, which is incorrect. Let's Players go in the Web Original Namespace. Move the main article to WebOriginal.Medibot and then I can put it on the index.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Not so sure about the Torchwood example in I Call Her "Vera". The risen mitten and life knife are weapons on technicalities (especially the risen mitten; which is a resurrection device that draws energy towards the former deceased, while moving the cause of death to the person that revived them, though that's not the norm), and very much not Ianto's, if they're anybody's at all. Their main uses are to resurrect people (usually for a couple of minutes) and question them about murders or the cryo-chamber codes, with the life knife apparently increasing the ability of the risen mitten. Though the villain of one of the episodes deliberately does this to try to improve their skill with the risen mitten.
Probably delete. Suzie used it as a weapon, and I'm pretty sure its "ownership" is Torchwood as a whole. Either way, not Ianto.
Also, stun gun? Isn't that a common nickname for taser-like devices?

Found another cut ptitle with many inbounds: Anime.Ptitlei015gc004kw4 with 129 inbounds. Can it be redirected to Anime.Pokemon please?
Thanks in advance.

Okay, I created the page for Music.The Lonely Island. It can be locked, now.
