Odd confessions.

I had a Youtube channel with gameplay videos for ears but recently I cannot bring myself to make more videos. I don't know why I just cannot do it......

Hate watching You Tube yet a sense of paranoia draws me to it.

Speaking of YouTube, I've been actively seeking out fake trailers for the yet-to-actually-be-announced-or-confirmed Pokemon Switch game(s), just to see if any of them are good. I've seen a few decent ones, but there's always something that's just "off", usually a visual thing. ^{Over-analysis} I think a big part of the problem is that a lot of them try to mimic the style of the Sun and Moon trailers too closely, making any flaws in the execution stand out that much more. If they treated it like the new generation they're trying to pass it off as and did something different with the trailer, these flaws would be less obvious, and the whole thing might be more convincing (or at least more interesting to watch).

Another confession: I over-analyze things.

I once stumbled across a website that gave perfectly normal, rather in-depth reviews of TV show episodes...except for the part where the person writing the reviews was convinced that at least half of the actors in any given show were, in fact, sociopathic underground lizard people in human suits who were plotting to take over.

It was...something.

So while i was at summer camp i was just 1 out of 4 people in my cabin who didn't play magic the gathering.

When I was 6, I fell asleep during the Phantom Menace. Don't know if you'd consider that odd though...

I actually didn't mind Soul Calibur V for what it was. Yes, I felt it was unfinished and some of the new characters could have gotten a lot more development but ain't that what fanfic is for? I just didn't really think it deserved a lot of the hate it got. Am I just a weirdo, an outsider as per usual? (hyped as heck for VI though)

I am only just now getting around to reading The Hunger Games.

Better late than never.

I constantly get a few things mixed up and cannot for the life of me figure out any way to remember them:

1. Which Dakota has Mount Rushmore

2. Which is the largest planet (Jupiter through Neptune always blend into one planet for me)

3. In a spreadsheet, table, or anything similar, which way is "row" and which way is "column"

4. Relatedly to the above, which way is vertical and which way is horizontal

Now onto book 2. I am enjoying the books, but both Gale and Peeta irritate me. Any romance irritates me. Haymitch MVP.

Besides shoehorned YA romance, a trope that really bothers me in YA books (that seems less common in children's books) is where the central premise is that the character feels guilty for something they seemingly caused, or has a condition that affects their daily lives or something, and then the plot twist is it wasn't their fault, was just a coincidence, or they don't have the condition.

Part of why I like Goodbye Days and Bubble is that there's no cop-out at the end.

I usually visualize alike things. I think of column like Greek/roman columns. Those are vertical. Or in math, the Y-axis.

Horizontal - think "horizon". From our point of view, it's straight left to right, side to side.

Rows and vertical I have no tricks for. I usually remember column/horizontal and they just speak for themselves by just being the opposite. :P

Anyways, for my confession: I turned a guy down for a second date because:

1. He lived too far away (like a 40 min - 1 hr drive), and he didn't have a car.
2. He was shorter than me (I'm like barely over 5 feet)
3. He's REALLY into clowns. Like his favorite part of IT (2017) was Pennywise and dressed up as him for Halloween.

The last one was a big dealbreaker to be honest.

So one time i wanted to build a suit that could change physical looks and physiological abilities in order to either make a secret identity, solve issues like hypotonia or hypertonia, limit dysphoria, invisible braces for physical therapy, or just minor changes.

That would be cool af and it would also be a great premise for a sci-fi story.

I used to think Dimentio was a girl. But even after I found out that he was a boy, I still imagined him having a girl's voice.

You see, there used to be a bunch of people posting videos on You Tube doing their own voices for Dimentio. Almost everyone gave him a deep voice, but there was this one video where it was clearly a girl doing the voice. Even though, by that point, I knew Dimentio was a boy, I still thought the girl's voice was perfect. She had this playful yet smooth voice that was very creepy, and she added an echo effect, which worked remarkably well. Unfortunately, that video seems to have been taken down. Now I can't find it anywhere.

Out of the "Dimentio voice" videos that are still up, my favorite is probably this one, although that girl is still the definitive voice for him in my opinion.

Relatedly, I tend to give Dimentio a falsetto voice (similar to these three videos, only less polished) whenever I play that game myself.

Sonic Underground is my favorite Sonic show.

I can't wink, whistle, or raise one eyebrow at a time. I've also never ridden a bike.

I find it extremely difficult to understand how there are people who don't experience sounds and music as having colour and shape.

Same here! I never really thought about it much until you mentioned it, but I totally agree. What is it like not to experience sound "visually"?

Do you mean Synaesthesia or just in general?

I first learned about synesthesia from the Secret Series, and I've been wishing I had it ever since.
