Old Complete Monster cleanup thread

Welcome to the Complete Monster proposal thread! This is the thread where new Complete Monster examples are vetted, approved, and written up. If you're looking for the general cleanup thread (for cuts, rewrites, expansions, and the like), please go here

Important: Before suggesting any new examples, please read the Frequently Asked Questions and Common Requests List; if you have any questions, the odds are high they are answered there. Additionally, please check here for the earliest date a work can be discussed (usually two weeks from the U.S. release date) and whether the work has already been reserved by another user.

Here is how the process works:

    Process

  1. If you have a candidate to propose, you can simply come right in and propose them! If the character's run is brief, such as a single issue of a comic book, then a simple summary of their actions and any potential redeeming qualities will be enough; for longer-running candidates, an effortpost (EP) might be helpful for organizing the proposal. An EP is not outright required, but please be mindful that if a post becomes too clunky and unorganized, it can be very hard for other people to follow.

  2. After the proposal, there will be a 72-hour discussion and voting period, where people may ask questions and vote on the candidate. The number of upvotes must outnumber the downvotes by at least five for the character to be considered "approved".

  3. Three days after the proposal has been made, if the character has been approved, you may post the writeup (the text to be posted on the trope page itself) on the thread and send it to the drafts page. Your candidate will soon be added to the CM subpage. If the work has a page, you should add your candidate to the relevant YMMV page. Voila! It's that simple!

Outside of this process, we do have a few ground rules:

    Ground Rules

  1. To keep the thread moving at a reasonable pace, there are some restrictions on when a proposal can be made. There should only be a maximum of four EPs posted both per page and per hour to ensure that nothing gets lost in the shuffle; additionally, each individual troper should only be proposing or writing up characters from a maximum of three works at a time (from initial proposals to end of their voting period). If your proposal would fall outside of either of these guidelines, we'd like to ask you to please wait until they would fit within; feel free to type them up on an outside document, and then when the time comes, you can just copy, paste, and post!

  2. No plagiarism of any kind. This is a very serious matter site-wide, as the website could get in actual legal trouble over this; as a result, this can very quickly lead to mod intervention. This can take many different forms:
    1. Direct plagiarism, i.e. wholesale copying. This is not only the easiest to find, but is also the most likely to warrant quick moderator intervention. To be clear, quoting in some places is perfectly acceptable, but it has to be very clear you're quoting from something else and it cannot be anything longer than a sentence or two - if you're quoting an entire work summary from Wikipedia, no one is going to believe you've actually consumed the work, so even if you cite your source, your candidate will be downvoted anyway.
    2. Self-plagiarism. Even if you can prove that you wrote the same text in both places, the site itself can't contain any of the duplicated text. If you already wrote something once before, it's not too hard to write it a second time.
    3. Using another site's work as a template for a proposal. Just because you don't copy and paste something directly doesn't mean it's any harder to detect if you're basing parts or all of your proposal on text someone else wrote. To be clear, this doesn't violate site rules and won't lead to mod intervention, but just like if you directly plagiarize, no one will believe you've consumed the work if you're clearly basing your proposal on something else. This thread largely operates on the honor system, and tweaking someone else's work to pass it off as your own is one of the fastest ways to lose trust.

  3. Votes must be for specific candidates, meaning no blanket voting (i.e. "yes to everyone I missed").

  4. If you are the first person to downvote a candidate, please provide an explanation of why when you do so. We're here for discussions above all, and a hit-and-run downvote doesn't facilitate anything.

  5. If a work is already reserved by another user, please don't comment on the work or any potential characters worth discussion before the discussion date. We know how exciting it is when a work has a keeper that you're waiting to talk about, but it's not fair to the person who reserved the work who is just as excited to lead the discussion to see the discussion getting spoiled before they get to do it. On the other hand, if the reservation only has one name attached, shoot them a PM - they may be down for a collaboration, which will get you in on the fun as well!

  6. Please keep the thread on-topic. While discussing the trope is fun and we encourage people to enjoy it, questions like "who's your favorite CM" are off-topic and can lead to thumps. That's the kind of question to take to people's PMs if they're willing. Similarly, while we encourage friendliness and familiarity with other users, posts should always have some kind of thread-relevant purpose; for instance, if you want to wish someone a happy birthday, feel free to, but if it's the only thing in the post, it's off-topic and needs something else alongside it. Again, though, while we strive for a friendly atmosphere, this is not Facebook; life updates are fun, but unless they have some kind of impact on your thread participation, please do not bring it here - we have Yack Fest for that.

  7. Please refrain from asking anything along the lines of "How Did We Miss This One?" In almost every case, the answer is simply "No one thought about it before". This Is a Wiki where everyone has different interests, and the fact that people missed a particular candidate, even one that seems like a textbook example of a trope or a character who is particularly iconic in pop culture, means absolutely nothing. The question is disruptive, has a simple and consistent answer, and provides nothing to any discussion.

  8. If you are suspended from parts of the website, it is still possible to participate!
    1. For users who are suspended from editing the wiki, you still have full access to this thread. You can propose candidates and write them up with no issues whatsoever; while you will have to ask someone else to post the entry to the relevant pages once it is done, all write-ups are considered thread-approved - as in, done by consensus - and thus doing so does not violate any rules regarding meatpuppeting.
    2. If you are suspended from the forums, your participation is limited but not impossible. It is still possible for a forum-suspended user to assist in creating the write-up for a character who has already been approved; as previously mentioned, write-ups are inherently considered a consensus-based edit and thus not tied to any one particular user. However, you can not assist in the proposal of a character; as a proposal is based around the forum rather than the wiki, doing so with a forum suspension qualifies as meatpuppeting.

  9. Please keep all discussions "in-house".
    1. What other wikis use for CM equivalents is irrelevant here.
    2. Please be wary of using other wikis, Fandom or otherwise, as sources of information. They are just as fallible as a site like Wikipedia in regards to accuracy because they can be edited by any user, just as this site can.
    3. Do not attempt to force a communication with an author in an attempt to gather evidence or settle a debate; besides the fact that this is a YMMV trope and thus author intent has variable weight depending on the circumstance, doing so may cross the line into drama exportation, which is prohibited site-wide.

If you would like to use an EP for your candidate, here's the general format. This format does not have to be followed exactly, but these are the main topics that need to be covered:

    Effortpost Template

What is the work?

This is a brief summary of the work you're going to discuss. We don't need a full plot summary here, just however much we need to understand going into the discussion — it can even be as simple as quoting the summary on the work's page.

Who is the candidate and what have they done?

This is essentially the character's biography — who they are, their story, the crimes they commit, and, preferably (though not required), what happens to the candidate at the end. It does not have to include every single thing they ever do — for some villains, we'd be here all day if that was the case — but it should include the highlights of their journey.

Any redeeming qualities? Freudian Excuse?

This is where any potential redeeming characteristics or tragic backstory should be discussed. Do they have a tragic past? Do they show that Even Evil Has Standards or Even Evil Has Loved Ones? Maybe a Pet the Dog moment or two? This is where these should be discussed in full. Not every potential redeeming moment is a clear-cut disqualifier, but we should hear of any potential issues to ensure the character is discussed in full.

Are they bad enough?

A Complete Monster has to be particularly vile by the standard of the work they appear in. Therefore, you should look at what the character does compared to similar characters in the same work. This takes into account things like:

  • Their resource level (a human Serial Killer can't stand up to an alien Omnicidal Maniac, but they can be bad by the standard of other human serial killers)
  • The amount of time they have to work with (such as a one-shot character versus long-running antagonists)
  • The quantity vs. quality of their crimes compared to others (someone with a lower victim count but far more visceral and personal crimes could be considered as equally bad overall as someone with a higher body count but less horror involved)

Essentially, this section is an analysis of the kinds of villainy shown in the work and an explanation of why this particular character's villainy stands out within it.

Final verdict?

This is where you post your final conclusion on the character in question. You can continue elaborating on your reasons or even just say a simple "yes" or "no"; at this point, we've heard everything we need to hear.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This thread tackles very serious and dark matters on a daily basis. We will be discussing things like murder, rape, torture, human trafficking, crimes against children, and in particularly dark cases, several of these issues at the same time. We keep a lighthearted air, but all candidates carry the general assumption that these are awful individuals committing disgusting crimes. We ask that if you participate, you do so with the requisite seriousness such dark topics require; exclamations of how gross something is, whether serious or sarcastic, are disrespectful to the topics at hand, and if you cannot handle such topics, please do not participate.

And that's everything you need to know. Welcome to the thread!

Few next up:

What's the work?

The Berlin File is a 2013 Korean spy film now on Netflix when a planned arms deal between terrorists and North Korean forces is interrupted. A South Korean agent is left to investigate as nk agent Jong-sung is on the run...and out villain? Dong Myung-soo

Who is Dong Myung-soo?

A North Korean agent sent to keep an eye on Jong-seong, who is distrusted now by his superiors. The guy is also a smug sadist, introduced on a train murdering another passenger via injecting him through his favorite weapon (a poison pen) to check his passport. Beginning to "fix" the situation via invesdtigating SK intelligence and murdering their associates, he tortures an associate and murders her soon after. With his information, he soon implicate Jong-seong's wife Ryun Jung-hee. Myung-soo reaches out to Jong-seong and informs him to give up his wife.

With the situation heating up, Myung-soo murders a CIA agent, and during the interrogation of another prisoner, the man reveals the actual traitor is Myung-soo who is working with his father to traffic arms. When things went wrong, Myung-soo opted to eliminate everyone to cover his tail and soon murders said prisoner. Myung-soo decides to eliminate everyone, cut out the middleman and go for personal enrichment. After trying to set up a conflict, Myung-soo is exposed and murders several other people. After murdering Jung-hee, he's faced by Jong-seong who brings him down and stabs him in the neck with his own poison pen.

Jong-seong is left a fugitive...but is coming for Dong Sr for payback.

Mitigating issues?

Zilch. He kills about seven people, sells arms to terrorists, sets up an opening slaughter...notably, the man is absolutely not even remotely loyal to the North Korean government, but only values self-enrichment and never shows one iota of love to his father, who may as well not even exist to him except as a business partner.

Conclusion?

Easy keeper.

So I asked Taylor and I got permission to also propose for PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo and I got a real doozie of a candidate. Throughout the game there's a talk of mastermind pulling the strings behing the events of the game, being responsible for the Festival of Shadow which allowed the Rite of Ressurection and the Curse Stones to activate and kickstart the events of the game where people are calling each other with curses. While the game presents different clues to different suspects, it's only at the end it is revealed who the mastermind is and it's not someone you expect.

I happens to be the implied Love Interest of the first playable character Shogo and the game's first victim, Yoko Fukunaga.

Who is Yoko and what does she do?

A descendant of the evil onmyoji Ashino, Yoko thanks to her lineage was born with incredible spirit power and later learned her lineage when trying to find out her roots. Realizing she has powerful abilities as an omyoji and that her family name lost prestige in the passage of time, she decide to mastermind a scheme to bring back her family's past glory. The plan was to start a Festival of Shadow in the city of Hojo, the former territory of her ancestor and activate the nine curses of the 7 Mysteries of Hojo. There she would give the curses to differently people all over town, selecting and manipulating vile and selfish individuals like Nejima and the Hihaku corp, where with the curse would also heighten their urge to kill, having them kill each other and other innocent people to collect soul dregs, before she would gather them herself and use it resurrect Ashino and accomplish the one task her ancestor could not.

Preparing the 7 Mysteries of Hojo by casting the Festivals of Shadows in the city, Yoko slowly arrange the stage for the curses to run rampant in the city, giving the Record of Fate to the historian Araishi and instructing him to spread knowledge of the curse in a specific time, bringing in interest to the Hikaku Soap company, and gifting the different curses to dangerous individuals who will use them to commit murder like Nejima, Araishi, and Yutaro. With the timing and set-up complete, Yoko moved on to settle her biggest obstacles; the descendants of Seiman, killing Hajime with her powers prior to the start of the curse and then setting up Shogo's death by befriending and seducing him before calling him during the night of the curse to kill him.

What happens next diverge in two paths. The true and good ending where when Yoko tries to kill Shogo with the Whispering Canal, and the curse backfires and hits her instead killing her due to the Beckoning Light before the curse could even start. And the path where most of the game takes place, where Yoko successfully kills Shogo and then hides in the shadow witnessing the curse run rampant. In there she pretty much stays out of the conflict but allowing the curse she set-up go in a rampage, even when Nejima threatened a massacre. In the many endings she either ends up victorious with her either tricking Nejima to resurrect her ancestor for her after his massacre, another curse bearers emerges victorious and resurrects their intended target which Yoko just remains hidden afterwards, and the final ending of the path where she wins, revealing she has been one-step ahead of the entire cast the entire time, killing off Erio and Mio after tricking them to activate her curse before she steals the Curse Stones off them and use it to kill countless people to collect the soul dregs needed to resurrect Ashino.

Ultimately the only way Yoko's reign of chaos ended was when she was killed prematurely before the start of the events, otherwise she always come out on top in some form of another despite the bloodshed she started.

How evil is she?

Considering she's the Big Bad responsible for the entire events of the game by kickstarting the curse and creating all the chaos that happens, she pretty much above everyone in the level of evil. While mainly indirect, she also does a lot of her own actions killng 4 heroic characters in the games, and driving many of the villains like Hihaku Corp and Nejima to their crimes. And her motive is she found out she was actually a descendant of a power onmyoji who's lineage lost prestige, so out of pride and disapppointment her family name was lost in history she started the massacre in hopes of eventually getting enough soul dregs to resurrect her ancestor Ashino and succeed in the task her most successor ancestor could not.

Any redeeming qualities?

Nothing. While she claims to have a pet dog she loved so much that she was planning to use the Rite of Resurrection to bring him back, it's revealed it was nothing more but a lie to lure out Shogo before she goes and kills him. As for reviving Ashino, this is not out of true love for her lineage, rather it's her ambition for prestige by accomplishing the one task Ashino could never do. Plus she has the highest onscreen body count, killing off Shogo, Hajime, Erio, and Mio and we could throw Nejima's attempted massacre since she was the one who gave him the curse with her knowing what Nejima could do with it and even intended for it to be like that.

One thing Taylor did bring up about their issue with Yoko was Yoko didn't feel like a real character since she actually doesn't show her true colors as the mastermind until the very end where she kills Erio and Mio and we only know about her actions through a text dump in her profile. I will say though, Yoko while not having much screentime to show her true self in the game, she still is a character who should still qualify for this trope.

For one, I would argue she had more of a character then Iwai who never even showed up until postmortem and mich Yoko, we learn all his evils through his character profile and what he's like though, but like him we do see the results of his actions and Yoko at least has scenes and actually commits some of her crimes onscreen, primarily killing off Erio and Mio and her murder attempt of Shogo which shows her to be a cunning and manipulative women who wears the facade of a weirdo and her reaction to killing Erio and Mio has her smiling smuggly as they drown right in front of her. Yeah that smile along with stringing along Shogo just to kill him shows Yoko is a manipulative yet cold-hearted and ruthless killer.

We also get a good idea of her character from descriptions of people who interact with her when trying to uncover the mastermind, showing a cunning and ruthless manipulator who's giving a lot of the more dangerous Curse Bearers their curses with the intention of having them kill and spread fear as part of her plan. She also can gaslight them to her will, tricking Nejima into thinking the Rite of Resurrection will actually bring his former lover back unlike the last ritual which only reincarnated her as a baby, before using his unstable mind to bring back Ashino for her. So we still get what her character is like. Plus what's really not shown about her crimes is what she does in the epilogue where she commits a massacre herself to summon Ashino.

And as for the idea of Ashino possessing her, as Mio points out, possession can never truly take over a person's mind. At best it can influence someone but that influence has to be something the person they are possessing wants. Yoko clearly also wants to resurrect Ashino for her pride.

Final Verdict:

I say an even stronger keeper considering what she does.

Regarding this proposed entry

  • Joffrey Baratheon is a spoiled sadist who sees power as nothing but a means to hurt people. Introduced tormenting a younger child while trying to force him to engage in a lethal sword fight, Joffrey responds to Arya humiliating him by getting her beloved direwolf killed. Upon ascending to the throne in the wake of his father's death, Joffrey immediately has multiple allies of the Stark family murdered and lies to Sansa that he will spare her father Ned, only to behead him and force Sansa to look upon his spiked skull. Joffrey further torments Sansa by regularly having his men brutally beat and strip her in public, all while Joffrey intends to rape her. Idling his time away by maiming and torturing people, Joffrey's mismanagement of time and resources leads to King's Landing's citizens starving; Joffrey's response to their pleas for food is to fire upon them with a crossbow, encourage them to eat their own dead, and order an entire crowd be cut down when one citizen embarrasses him. During the Battle of Blackwater, Joffrey cruelly torments his opponents by flinging their captured allies at them via trebuchets, having tortured them beforehand by nailing antlers to their heads in a mockey of their sigil.

Comics are condensed but still faithfull adaptations of first two books. There are some problems with the entry

1) In the book Mycah is actually one year older than Joffrey who is tall for his age. In the comics it was never said how old is Mycah but it is wrong to assume he is younger than Joff.

2) Arya's direwolf wasn't killed. Sansa's was killed and that was ordered by Cersei

3) Is there any evidence Joffrey is one who ordered massacre of Stark's men instead of Cersei?

4) He didn't order an entire crowd to be cut down because someone threw a manure at him but his men to cut through crowd and catch an offender. He did say, later, he will have everyone who had participate in the riot.

It's never really elaborated if Yoko has an actual dog. And Ashino is the on who created the actual curses, but Yoko is the one who awakened them in the modern era.

Anyway, personally, I think Yoko is a [tdown]. She doesn't really do much of anything in the game. She awakens the curses and starts the story, and then she stays out of the plot until the very end of the game. We never really get any genuine interactions with her, we don't know her true personality and how bad she actually is. I think she might work better as a Magnificent Bastard. [tup] for Ashino, though, I didn't consider doing her but I think she works.

[down] Yeah, like I said before, it's possible I'm looking at her from a biased perspective because I don't like her character. But I also just never felt that she was on the same level as even Nejima. I feel that the disconnect of her just putting the events into motion doesn't cause her to qualify, even if she killed three people. When I look at a Complete Monster, I want the first thing I think to be that they are the worst of the worst, and I don't feel that when I consider Yoko.

[up][up] Ashino is the Greater-Scope Villain who did started the 7 Curses many years ago, however it was Yoko who brought them back at the events of the game witht he Feast of Shadows with the purpose of bringing Ashino back due to being her descendant and the sake of her ego by accomplishing what even her ancestor could not.

As for the dog, considering it was used to lure Shogo out to the park by pretending she wants the Rite of Resurrection to bring it back to life only for to try to kill Shogo, it's pretty clearly just another facade. She had when she interacted with Shogo but it's made clear it was to lure him in.

[up] She literally kills Mio and Erio at the end of the regular route in cold blood and she is the mastermind of the Curse returning at the events of the game with the express purpose of the murders happening for the Rite of Resurrection, even the profile said she herself goes on a massive murder spree afterwards to bring Ashino.

Also about the no interaction? Same can be said with out two candidates who were never onscreen when they were alive. Even compared to Ashino and Iwai, at least we see her on screen commit the murders, while those two is all in the profile. From what we discuss you were just more annoyed she was hidden in the shadow the whole time despite being the mastermind when the game outright said she did it to stayout of the spotlight on purpose and only strikes when she pretty much won.

[up] She also literally tells Nejima about the Rite of Resurrection to get him to participate in the events of the curse, when Tetsuo ask Nejima how he found out about the rite, he pretty much figure out the mastermind told him. As you said if it weren't for knowledge of the rite, Nejima looked like he could've change at the true ending, but the knowledge drove him in his murder spree and again this was Yoko intended, especially when in that ending he resurrects Ashino after swearing to her as his new master, the person she wanted to brought back to begin with.

It really does come off not liking how she was presented rather then any legit arguments that she doesn't meet the quota.

To make a rundown what Yoko does:

- She brings back 9 dangerous curses her ancestor start for the sake of the Rite of Resurrection in the events of the game.

- She kills Shogo and Hajime prior to the main events of the game to stop them from preventing the curses to go rampage being Seiman's descendants, and later kills Mio and Erio when they get to close to the truth after hiding in the shadows.

- She also recruits Nejima to her plans and has him help make the Curse Stones due to his knowledge of the mystic artes. She also tells him about the Rite of the Resurrection knowing his killings involving a resurrection ritual, with Nejima's ending heavily implying she had him in her control the end entire time since he ends up resurrecting her intended target Ashino over his original wish which was his old lover Shino which he got by killing 300 students.

- She also informs other dangerous individuals like Araishi and Hihaku Corp about the curses and rite, where they end up commiting murders and kidnapping for the Rite for the sake of spreading rumors and later fear which makes the curses more powerful.

- At the end of the normal route after killing Mio and Erio, she then goes on a rampage herself to bring Ashino back with countless sacrifices for their soul dregs.

- All the murders that happen were all intentionally in order to gather a massive amount of Soul Dregs she needs to resurrection Ashino since being from a long time ago it requires much more then it normally required which is why she made it as bloody and dangerous as possible with some of the individuals she picked. As the profile said it was to set the stage for "mutual slaughter".

- And just her setting up the curses to intentionally get people to kill, all the deaths cause by the curses can reasonably be put on her whether directly on indirectly since that was the intent.

- And against Iwai and Ashino, we actually see her commit the murders and they aren't limited to just profile on screen so we got more character from her then the two other candidates.

Really she doesn't just set the events on motion and just that. She literally gets her hands dirty and manipulates everything to be bloodbath because her end goal requires so many sacrifices whether by her hand on other curse bearers she can manipulate. And her reason is for pride, she wants to accomplish what her great ancestor could not and bring back prestige to her family name.

@hegelvonaxel

You are right about points 3 and 4. However, Joffrey does order Ned Stark's men to be killed. I just reread the chapter from the book and this is what Joffrey himself says when Ned confronts him in the throne room (I am translating from Bulgarian here, so I can't guarantee it's exactly the same as the original version, but it should be close enough):

"Kill him!" Joffrey shouted from the Iron Throne. "Kill them all, I command!"

In the chapter Cersei only commands for Ned Stark to be apprehended.

[tup] to Yoko too.

I discussed my candidate after i got my proposal out, and as you can see, they already had the Big Bad planned. It seems like they're okay with keeping my proposal on Yoko's ancestor Ashino.

Due to unfortunate events, i will continue to exist until further notice.

I would like to suggest three examples from Code Prime.

1) Airachnid. A Psycho for Hire and Torture Technician that served the Decepticon regime during the war, Airachnid is sadistic monster that only joined them because it allowed her to freely enact her cruelty. At some point during the war, she captured the Autobot Arcee and her partner Tailgate to gain information from them. After confirming neither of them had useful intel, she proceeded rip Tailgate to pieces in front of a helpless Arcee. After Cybertron fell, she spent her time travelling from planet to plant, hunting down the native species and taking their heads as trophies after killing them. Eventually, Airachnid made her way to Earth where she met once again with Arcee and her human friend, Kallen Kozuki, becoming a swore enemy of young girl. While the former Decepticon was already a nasty piece of work in canon, she manages to be truly despicable in this story. Airachnid spent weeks at Shinjuku ghetto butchering civillains and laying out their bloody remains on her webs, as a proud and sick display of her malice. When confronted by Suzaku Kurugi over the reason for it, she is because she was bored and needed to pass time somehow. Upon meeting her demise at the hands of Kallen and Arcee during R2, she spitefully claims that the three of them are not different of each other and promises to see them in Hell, right before Kallen explodes her completely. A deplorable monster with zero redeeming qualities that makes even Megatron, a being regarded as evil incarnate disturbed by her actions, Airachnid is a display of the most disguisting qualities of the Decepticons.

2) V.V., born Victor zi Britannia. An immortal Psychopathic Manchild and the brother of Emperor Charles. Not only Victor almost killed Lelouch's mother Marianne, and crippled his sister Nunnally to spite his brother, he brags about it to the young rebel leader just to get under his skin. Victor also promises to kill Optimus Prime just to make the siblings suffer the loss of another parental figure. He also gave his nephew Rai an unstable Geass that killed his family and goes as blame Rai for his actions. After Rai is nearly killed attempting to save one of his comrades, V.V. laughs at his face and mocks his sacrifice. His Never My Fault attitude takes a step further after he is forced to serve under Megatron and the Britannia Empire is destroyed. As noted at the Moral Myopia section at his character page: "He shows absolutely no remorse for the countless lives he's ruined, even seeming to revel in it, yet starts to whine about how others have no right to fight back against his 'just cause' whenever they pose the slightest challenge. In R2 he outright says he considers everything but the world he and Charles were trying to create was the only thing that mattered, offhandedly dismissing the lives of the entire human race as stepping stones for that goal, even as he attempts to lecture Optimus about causing current events by not killing Megatron." After being completely defeated during the operation to destroy the Thought Elevators, he flees the battlefield like a cowards and attempts to trigger the Assimilation Plot on the last elevator, only to be found by Megatron and have his Geass taken from him, killing V.V. for good.

Alright, voting has finished for him, so...

One Helluva Broken Day: SCP-106, better known as the Old Man, remains just as vile as his canon counterpart. Chucking several foundation agents into his pocket dimension, SCP-106 abducts Cletus, Collin, and Keenie as SCP-001 arrives. Forcing the Cherubs to starve, thirst, and go insane as they trudge through his dimension, 106 appears to jam his thumbs into Cletus' eye sockets, telling his victims to keep crying so that the forces of heaven come for them and "the real fun can start".

3) And finally, Shin Hyūga Shaing. An Omnicidal Maniac that seeks to bring the end of all life just for the sake of it, Shin is truly one of the most despicable human antagonists in the story. He first used his Geass to make his parents to kill themselves and tried to the same with his 5 year old brother Akito, which only failed because the boy was too young to understand the concept of death. Comes present day story, he uses his Geass to make Michele Manfredi, a genuiunely good man who saw Shin as a friend, kill himself in order to seize control of the Knights of St. Michael. Once his true personality is revealed, his closest subbordinate Jeanette Rowe (who was deeply in love with him) tries appeal to his humanity. His reaction is too brutally dismiss her feelings and try to murder her. He eventually allies himself with Decepticon Steeljaw, who helps him figure out new aspects of his Geass, which makes anyone under his control try to kill others or themselves. Shin's desire to see the end of all life not only makes a perfect fit for the Decepticons, but also attracts the attention Beleth, the first bearer of Evil Geass, who grants him a Dark Geass similar to Megatron's, that causes people to live their worst nightmares until they die, a perfect fit a heartless monster like him.

[up]We appreciate the enthusiasm, but you should start with the effortpost. Then, if after three days, these examples are approved with far more [tup] votes than [tdown], you may do their write-up. I suggest you check out the folder "Effortpost Template" to see how an effortpost is done, as well as the rules and criterias to see what is expected out of a Complete Monster.

It's probably the most boring part of the participation, but it will keep you from proposing evil characters with redeeming qualities or other disqualifying factors.
