The current pic (a group of sapient vegetables including one "female vegetable") seems more like a case of Sexy Dimorphism, and there are enough characters in the pic with varying designs that it takes a moment to notice the weirdness.

Anyway, I don't mind for either the OG or the suggestion. Both still illustrate the trope fine IMO.

I don't mind it being a previously-joke-suggestion, it's way better than the current to me.

I'm not sure why it was considered crappy, because the suggestion looks pretty decent to me. But isn't it supposed to be linked to the source?

Suggestion. The contrast between the silhouettes is so good I have a hard time believing it wasn't parodic or made specifically for the page.

Or a better variant on the idea that the female silhouette has several visible traits while the male could be literally anyone.

For captions, I like the one Andariel suggested above.

Also as the guy who started Crappy Image Pickin', when starting it I thought that maybe the thread might produce an actual page pic in the future, but I'm still surprised it actually happened. Lmao.
