Splitting 2003 Anime of Fullmetal Alchemist from Manga/?

I initially brought this up in the main disambiguation thread but didn't get clear consensus (especially since that thread handles multiple items at once) so I thought I would ask about it in its own thread.

Anime.Fullmetal Alchemist currently hosts the first anime adaptation of Manga.Fullmetal Alchemist, which was released in 2003 and Overtook the Manga before doing its own thing. The manga would later get a Truer to the Text anime adaptation, Anime.Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, which redirects to the Manga/ page.

Should Anime.Fullmetal Alchemist be disambiguated, and the first one moved to Anime.Fullmetal Alchemist 2003? Things to consider:

• The 2003 anime already has its own subpages — Characters.Fullmetal Alchemist Anime and WMG.Fullmetal Alchemist Anime among others are already hardsplit away, and other subpages, such as YMMV.Fullmetal Alchemist, have it softsplit. It might be neater to consolidate these under one Wiki Word.
• There would be 1700 wicks to clean if yes.

Not necessary and I will not likely be assisting, but if anyone wants to make the separation between the 2003 anime and the manga (and Brotherhood anime), I will say that I agreed with their ability to do so.

The eventual creation of the 2.0 database would make it redundant, but we are not yet living in that world.

Well, I felt a burst of inspiration. Anime.Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 and its subpages are up and running to the best of my ability; I mod-moved what I could and hard-split the rest.

• Recap.Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was punted to Recap.Fullmetal Alchemist, since the old contents were moved to Recap.Fullmetal Alchemist 2003.
• I kept Characters.Fullmetal Alchemist Anime as a redirect as it has 14000 inbounds.

1700 wicks for me to move.

Wicks under 1600. Increasingly feeling that this was the right choice as several examples on Main/ are written in some variation of

...or have some other clarification, eg.

Listing them as Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) from the get-go is much smoother.
