Fixed the title
Macron's notesThanks, wasn't sure because the Image Pickin' thread starter said to leave the title blank if it was about multiple articles, which seemed off to me.
It looks like the original covers are also from two different editions. (Three, counting Magician's Nephew.)
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableOkay, so, let me put some serious legwork here. Hoo boy!. (You saw nothing)
Harper-Collins is the publisher for all release versions. Scholastic sometimes rereleases them with slight modifications.
- The current is a Cliff Nielsen set. It's not photoshopped, though it needs some quality reupload.
- Pauline Baynes's (also the illustartor of the books) original covers. I'll entertain this only because The Other Wiki uses them.
- The OP's suggestion is a full-color edition using Pauline Baynes's other illustrations.
- Chris van Allsburg set, which is what majority of the original pagepics were going for (available textless).
- David Wiesner set (available textless).

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupOne of the covers has a parody title for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe instead of the actual title, saying The Lion, the Witch and the Sheer Audicity of this Bitch. It made me laugh, but we shouldn't use that in the actual work page.

Google has foiled me yet again and I can't believe my lack of attention. Give me a moment...

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupOther than the title issue, I actually like the second set (Colored Release) the most, I find them the nicest to look at.
Fixed. And I did see some bs edits like making fun of attacking the chair out of cotnext.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI'll go with the third set (Chris van Allsburg), as it's overall the most consistently good.
The second set isn't bad, but it has some covers that I don't think work that well, mainly The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The first set has awful quality, and the fourth set made some weird choices.

I'd like to apologize for all this.As an owner of the Allsburg set, I find the second set ("Colored") the nicest and most evocative. I like that it consistently shows the characters, I think that's something it's got a leg up on the Allsburg (eg. The Horse and His Boy - riders on horses vs. building, Dawn Treader - people and the boat vs just the boat)

I think we should use the second set.
I like the second set best.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. The second
(Annoyed grunt)
The majority of votes seem to be for the second set. Shall we have a Crowner anyway?
Correction: they were inconsistent before, all the currents use a more modern rerelase, though they're all rather low-res

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupVotes bump, one in the green.
Calling to use the Colored set. I will get to this when I have time.
Finally got around to reuploading everything at wiki size and putting it into their respective pages. All are in and tagged, locking up.
Crown Description:
Current pics are inconsistent on which sets are used
In November of 2020, ATroperLikeTheRest changed the covers of almost each book subpage for The Chronicles of Narnia to a different series of editions, without any sort of discussion. And frankly... the images look worse than the covers they replaced. Instead of paintings, they're these ugly photoshopped covers that don't work as well, in my opinion.
Since it'd make this post way too long, here are some direct links to both the original and replaced images for each book:
While a reversion to the originals would be fine, I'm also partial to the 2005 Harper-Collins editions, though given they're the ones I remember seeing the most I'm obviously biased there. Given the original page images were inconsistent in terms of editions used, it would be a nice way to have them both unified and look nicer. Here's that set for reference (This is only to show all the covers together, not to be put on an actual page):
