1.1 is the better of the suggestions, but neither makes the "fanatics about order and control" clear unless you know the works.
I've assumed the "big man in a big office with condensending attitude" would look like an authority figure, but it may have needed some leap of logic.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupIt's been months since I've played the game so I don't know the answer to this without looking it up: does he have a bossier line of dialogue in that location?
I've really liked the pose (especially with the pocket watch), but I can check through the other scenes later.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup1.1 looks like an authority figure to me, my issue is more that the clock part isn't as clear.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI played the game and I think 1.1 is decent but I would prefer it if the clock/watch elements to be more obvious.
Macron's notesThe image should depict the association between a clock and order/control/strictness/authority in a character. Not seeing that in the examples so far.

The clocks are barely visible in all of the suggestions.
The Clock King from Batman: The Animated Series, which is already listed on the page, might be a good candidate. Here's two images I found that might work best. Do they convey the "order and control" part of the trope well enough?
Second is JAFAAC, and the clocks aren’t clear in the first.
We also want to avoid overlap with Clock King.
Lines that sound like imposing authority (not in images since it takes space and the only difference is dialogue box and pose):
- So, introductions... I am Mael Stronghard, Lord Chief Justice of the British Empire.
- If others must wait for my attention as a result, so be it.
- Mr Naruhodo! You've come to me claiming to be a lawyer. If you want me to take you seriously, you need to prove you're willing to do a lawyer's job.
- If you manager to secure a verdict of not guilty, you'll have passed my test.
- I am the Lord Chief Justice. And I've decided it's acceptable.
- You've enjoyed some victories in court against my number one prosecutor, have you not?
- As of this moment, I reinstate your license to practice law here in Great Britain!
Also have considered.. since the character announces his plans down to seconds, and Clock King shows "clock motif" and not someone's very precise with time, maybe replace that image if this one isn't good enough for Clocks of Control?
- I have nineteen minutes and forty-one seconds until my next engagement. ...Time enough to talk.
- Hmph. It seems I'm one hour, twelve minutes and... forty-secen seconds late. My apologies.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI was about to make a crowner but ^ made me think... this is the full art on Clock King. Does the positioning make him look like an overbearing clock-themed guy, or just 'clock-themed villain'?
I definitely think Stronghart saying "I have nineteen minutes and forty-one seconds until my next engagement. ...Time enough to talk." is better than this picture for Clock King at any rate.

I think the Clock King shows the Trope Namer and not the trope, so I think that one should be moved regardless. I think the uncrop of Clock King looks intimidating enough for Clocks of Control.
I'm fine with Stronghart at either Clock King or Clocks of Control with either of the quotes, would like more opinions on Clock King first though while at it.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI like the uncropped for Clocks of Control, it has that nice sinister villain's lair in-control vibe. With that in mind, Clock King (the character) is an example but the current pic could be stronger, so I'd support using the uncork in Clocks of Control.
Maybe switch Clock King's pic with this one from the The Little Prince (2015) movie of the mom and her "life plan" for her daughter.
And using a closeup of the daily activities and croupier.

Hooked a crowner for Clocks of Control. Let's resolve this before thinking of something else for Clock King (putting on hold for now), since moving the current image over to here might not even get consensus.

Votes bump, one in cosnensus range.
Superconsensus for 14. It's in and tagged, and the current pic on Clock King is removed:
Caption ideas?
"Watch out Titans, our he'll clock you out with time puns!"
Better than nothing? Could help showing "control" more though.
I'll just push the Clock King suggestion to a new thread after this one closes.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupAw, I like the old caption on Clock King and it probably doesn’t work here.
Yeah, I liked the original caption too, but it's really more geared for the Clock King trope. =/
Embracing a subtler kind of punnditry, how about: "His Evil Plan makes heroes seem minute, they won't get a second chance to escape his control."
I like that one. Although it also fits more to Clock King.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
