I Thought It Was Forbidden has an unclear name, an unclear description, and a low amount of wicks, plus it's redundant with other tropes. What should be done with it?

Soft-split between "Dangerous Forbidden Technique but Subverted" and Protagonist-Centered Morality. For starters that's bad practice and secondly there's no reason to not just move wicks accordingly if these are preexisting tropes.
Besides cutting, I believe the trope could be a counterpart for Inferred Holocaust, as an Audience Reactions about something set up that can only be used only rarily, but due to PlotHoles the characters start doing all the time, so that's the only saving grace I can come up with.
