The Trailing punctuation in trope custom titles thread, as well as many, many discussions over the past ten and a half years, have made it obvious that we need a centralized discussion thread for page titles. I intend for this thread to be a place to both discuss titles and request they be changed.
(If you're looking to capitalize an existing wikiword, there's a different thread for that.)
Any thoughts about its related trope Heävy Mëtal Ümlaut?
Actually, This Trope Name References Itself index has a few similar custom titles.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThat one looks fine.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I have no problem with Heävy Mëtal Ümlaut. Those diacritics don't affect the use of the trope title in a sentence in any meaningful way.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Plus it's a visual demonstration for people who don't know what Umlauts are.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness~Tropers/noncanadianguy submitted a custom title of
for Robin And The Seven Hoods. Denied because any articles can be moved to Robin And The 7 Hoods.

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.CheckPoint, Treacherous Checkpoint, Checkpoint Starvation. Maybe they need their namespace spelling uniformed?
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup"Checkpoint" is usually considered a single word.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Correct. All of those should just be "Checkpoint".
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'll bring these to the capitalization thread then, I assume this would clear the displays as well.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupIt won't; there's a bug in the code for that, but try anyway.

As for something that's only indirectly related to custom titles:
Creator.Aoi Yuuki is custom titled to Aoi Yūki, which is the correct spelling of her stage name in romaji. However, when she spells her name in ASCII, it's more commonly "Aoi Yuki", so her page should be at Creator.Aoi Yuki, which is currently a redirect.

Does that mean all subpages at Characters.Hololive should be moved to have numbers in the wikiword?
Edited by Amonimus on Nov 27th 2021 at 5:29:34 PM
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupWait what? Why was "hololive Japan - Generation 6 -holoX-" rejected when "hololive Japan - Generation 6 -Holo X-" was accepted? All I did was changed the capitalization of "HoloX".
Also are there any way to move pages and their Edit History with them? Because this comment seems to suggest that numbers should be actual numbers in the page namespace.

"Six" / "6"
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.VideoGame.Unreal I is Unreal. Illegal, right?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576note: custom title currently says Unreal (1998)
Yeah. That should just be Unreal
Noticed a trailing exclamation point on Let Us Never Speak of This Again. Don’t remember that being there.
Submitted a correction.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Has there been any consensus on the exclamation mark that was added to Take That!? I think it was discussed elsewhere, but I can't remember if it was seen as a good or bad addition.
It long predates this thread.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I think it works. It's punchy.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Another case where a page was "moved" by custom title: Series.Buck Rogers In The Twenty Fifth Century should be Series.Buck Rogers In The25th Century.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Film/TheFortyYearOldVirgin is custom titled to The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
Submitted a reversion request for VideoGame.Temtem, because someone lowercased it again. The official name is Temtem, not temtem.
