I think a good possibility would be to rework those character lists into paragraph form and merge them in with the description, similar to the paragraph discussing the supporting cast of Superman on that franchise's page.
I'm not sure. The supporting cast paragraph on the Superman page is a wall of text.
True. What other way would work better though?
Just removing them. That's what character pages are for.
Think here would be appropriate to ask, perhaps we don't need formatted character cards in the work descriptions, we have Characters/ page for that, and also should clear returning tropes soft-splits. Chouriki Sentai Ohranger for example.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI still think the character summaries in descriptions should go, and all those "recurring franchise tropes" sections have a lot of tropes-in-subbullets, zero-context examples, and other things that haven't been acceptable practice for over a decade.
I'd be interested in going through seasons one by one starting with Himitsu Sentai Gorenger and removing these sections, while fixing nested tropes. These work pages feel like they've been made in pre-2008 Tv Tropes, but for modern seasons like Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger (outright spoils someone's Heel–Face Turn in the summary) it should be unacceptable. But it being a major edit I need a few more okays on it.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupNot super familiar with Toku shows but yeah, those above-the-line descriptions can go.
We don't sweep with a broom, no~I just removed Zenkaiger's character-block, citing this thread.
I started getting rid of the rest, moving the color markup over to the character pages for fun. (And apparently not without some precedent either, as when I went to do JAKQ I noticed that there was already some outdated color markup on there)
So, while I agree with most of Kayube's changes to the Sentai character pages for the Heisei and Showa-era series, I have been thinking: should we consider using the "Portrayed by…" and "Voiced by…" format for the actors/voice actors, since most of the other franchise character pages like the MCU and Star Wars ones have them?
Also, I plan to merge the recurring franchise tropes and tropes that are in the show itself into a single trope example list. Thoughts?

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I don't see why not.
Yeah, I don't really care which format is used for the character sheets, I just think it'd be nice to have consistency. And also not use bold fonts in subtitles that make everything in them bold anyway.
I think we should keep the Recurring Super Sentai tropes bar in each of the Super Sentai Pages.

Why though?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupBecause it keeps a track on all the Super Sentai tropes that are in each series.
These should just be within normal list and on franchise page then, like any other work page.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupWell we can't just put all that info about the Transformation Trinkets, Weapons of Choice, Mecha Expansion Pack, Humongous Mecha, Mooks, Finishing Moves, and Monsters of the Week from each series into the Super Sentai Franchise page, otherwise it will get bloated.
That's what folders and subpages are for.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThen make the Recurring Super Sentai tropes bar in each series into a folder.
...No?
None of those are even technically character tropes anyway.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Purenessthey did it with some Kamen Rider page: for example, Kamen Rider OOO and Kamen Rider Gaim.
Tabs did mention in this ATT that separating them can be pointless and can lead to repetition.
Also, for reference, the "Super-Trope-Sub-Trope sorting" section in the Example Indentation in Trope Lists says:
All tropes in a list should be at the same level of indentation, and in alphabetical order. See How to Write an Example. Subtropes should not be listed in sub-bullets beneath their parent tropes.
The same applies for composite tropes like Five-Man Band.

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.
Super Sentai pages — especially those from Shinkenger onwards — are huge Signal to Noise Trainwrecks, filled with overly-long Mythology Gag and Hindsight entries that list any vague similarity to a previous Super Sentai or Kamen Rider instalment, natter, Most Wonderful Sound entries that give exhaustive lists of every sound the toys make... Unfortunately, I only have second-hand knowledge of Sentai, so I'd need help with cleaning them up.
For example, I've already scrubbed the Hilarious in Hindsight entries on YMMV.Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and YMMV.Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, but I haven't touched any Mythology Gag entries yet. Still, here's one from Zenkaiger I find questionable:
Also, every Sentai's "Series/" page has a list of characters in the description, and I've never seen these on any other work pages. Should they go?
