I don't even know if I voted; if I did, I probably would've voted for a cut because it seems to make sense.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
We could have a redo crowner with these options:
- Keep Mister X And Mister Y as is, define as "a pair of characters who refer to each other as Mr. X and Mr. Y"
- Disambiguate the page between Bantering Baddie Buddies and Overly Polite Pals
- Cut the page
I maintain that the first option is redundant with Overly Polite Pals, and the second does not seem necessary as the page has a low number of wicks and inbounds.

I received some last minute objections so I haven't launched the trope yet. If you are keen to close the thread we could temporarily make Mister X And Mister Y redirect to Overly Polite Pals and change it to a disambig when Bantering Baddie Buddies launches?

I'm fine with redirecting now and turning it into a disambig later.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
One thing we should keep in mind is to turn it into a redirect once the other trope gets launched. I'm afraid that it will just gets stuck as a disambig if we turn it into one now.

EDIT: Of course I meant the other way around, otherwise my comment makes no sense. If we turn it into a redirect now, we might forget to turn it into a disambig later and it will get stuck as a redirect.

The goal is to have it as a disambig, not a redirect. So if it "gets stuck like that"...well, that's how it's intended.
Bump. Shall we redirect to get this done for now? Perhaps make a note on BBB to disambiguate this when it launches, so ironist at least will remember :-)
