Lately, we've been having some trouble with pages in the Roleplay/ namespace, and much debate over how to handle said pages. Problems include:
- Auto-Erotic Troping
- Major problems with example context
- The difficulty cleaning up or verifying the content on said pages, often due to these roleplays being private or otherwise inaccessible
In this thread, we will discuss and clean-up these works so they conform to the rules of the wiki, and can be understood by any reader regardless of whether or not they take part in the roleplay.
Here are some useful sandboxes for our cleanup effort:
- How to Clean a Roleplay - a sandbox guide to determining availability of, locating, and cleaning up pages to roleplays.
- Roleplay Cleanup Thread is used for sorting pages after we examine them, whether they've been cleaned, cut, or shelved, and anything in-between.
- Roleplay Cleanup Thread Indexing is used after a cleaned and verified page has been added to the first sandbox. We try to add these pages to our indexes, with the plan to create actual indexes later on.

New Finds
- Haysu RPG: Broken link, unarchived. Will move to Darth.
- Home Sweet Hoenn: Can't find any info on it, so it might be a private RP. If so, will move to Darth.
- Jellyneo Random Roleplay: Can't find any forums on the site. It might be something only people with accounts can see.
- Legendaries Lost: Can't find this RP on the forum it says its on
- Neo Kobe Multiverse: Seems to be a private RP
- PokéFiends: Broken link, but the whole site seems to be archived on the Wayback machine.
- Pokemon Tamers: The only RP by this name that I could find appears to not have gotten off the ground. No idea whether the content on the page is about another RP, or was just made up.
- Rocket HQ: All content has been deleted off the tumblr it was hosted on, and there doesn't seem to be an archive. Will move to Darth.
I asked about two roleplays in ATT and I believe both need to be moved to darth wiki since their links are broken or they've been removed from the hosting site
I found the links to part one and two and fixed those for the Unsung War Trilogy, did delete the link to the summary for now as I didn't find it (didn't really look either as it wasn't entirely needed).
EDIT: Should mention in this case a broken link isn't enough of a reason to move to Darth Wiki. You need to not be able to find it at all.

I think Pokemon Tamers is based off of a different roleplay with the same name. I found one of the characters, Cori, in an application for another roleplay.
Ok I couldn't find anything for the resident evil roleplay, so is it ok to move that one over?
It seems like the linked post for the Resident Evil Roleplay was a masterlist. Nothing on the site states where the roleplay itself occured.
Roleplay.Healthy Dose Of Deceit has no link, and is listed as "Discord-based". Move to darth?
Absolute destiny... apeachalypse?Yep, that is darth material.
"Grandmaster Combat, son!"How do we handle character pages? merge the tropes into the main list, or drop them in a different folder?
Absolute destiny... apeachalypse?I personally set them up sort of like this, myself.
"Grandmaster Combat, son!"Got it
[edit] And done!

Absolute destiny... apeachalypse?Just found Arcanastuck, which is apparently an RP in the wrong namespace but also has basically no examples with sufficient context... should we just cut it?

Found Roleplay.Hero City Capital Of Justice. The page has no description goes and straight to the trope list, so I don't know if this actually exists.

Looks like it's real; I'll add the link and what description I can to the page.
The main page is a mess, but it looks like most of the entries on the character page have context. Transplanting those to the main page and cutting the character page might be enough to salvage it.

Hello all. While browsing the wiki, I encountered the The Salt Islands OCT page. It has... a lot of issues, to put it lightly:
- Wrong namespace. It's a roleplay and should be under there instead.
- Ignoring CamelCase in favor of using brackets everywhere for tropes, even where it's not necessary. Not all listed tropes have this problem, but most do.
- Rampant ZCE issues.
- Several empty character folders.
- Perhaps more that I've missed.
I tried to clean up the page all on my own, but it was simply too much at the time. I'm willing to take a look at it again, although help is much appreciated. Seeing how old the page is, the idea of sending out notifiers seemed rather moot.
EDIT: Alright, for now I've created Sandbox.TheSaltIslandsOCT for further cleaning. Will probably also move it to the Roleplay namespace later if necessary (because I still think it belongs there instead, but I don't wanna do that without consensus).

Gave it a scrub. Among its problems:
- The Caretaker: Of her two dependents, Oreck and Himalia
- Doting Parent: Especially to Oreck.
- Mama Bear: She is very protective of Oreck and Himalia, especially when they were threatened by AJ and Harley in their audition.
I've noticed that yeah, than you for the help! Did some more stuff myself as well.
What about moving it to the Roleplay namespace, is that perhaps a good idea?
I'm not familiar with Original Character Tournament, and I am looking at the page and see there are a lot of pages in WebOriginal. Do people take turns submitting their writing/art to the tournament and interacting with other characters like in a roleplay?
Luceti is missing description.
Microcosm and Natural Evil are ZCE fields.
Dear Player says Dear Mun is the former name, but redirects to it instead of moving itself.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupAs far as I know each entry is created independently, so there's no direct interaction between individual participants (except the judges). They're expected to take inspiration from/not directly contradict the previous rounds written by other people, but each person only has to be internally consistent with their own narrative, which IMO makes it different than a traditional roleplay.
Natural Evil has a broken link and only its first page is archived, so I've cutlisted it + moved it to Darth.
Dear Player is now the main page and Dear Mun is the redirect.

Microcosm's link is broken and has no archive. Usually I'd move it to Darth, but from the page the entire plot seems to be about the various characters having sex + most of the tropes listed are about that. Given that it seems to be an Excuse Plot to roleplay characters screwing, does this need to be run by P5, or can I just cutlist it?

Alright, it seems I won't move the page, then. I think I'll merge my sandbox changes with the actual work page instead when I get on my PC again.
This seems to be the right place to bring this up: Roleplay.Star Trek Online Pathfinder (originally at Fanfic.STO Pathfinder, moved by me and then cut on recommendation of Ask The Tropers). Definitely exists and is publicly available, but:
- Not sure if I moved it to the right namespace; it may need to be in Web Video instead.
- It's an exampleless stub. I sent the page creator, sirboulevard, a notifier about that yesterday; they were last on the wiki in March.
1. Yeah, for consistency either it should be moved to Web Video or pages like WebVideo.Critical Role moved to Roleplay/
2.The character page has tropes. If the creator hasn't improved the page after like, a week, we can move those to the main page and cut the character page.

It looks like the changes I made using the sandbox were placed on the work page (then moved to Darth), and I forgot about it. I'll cut the sandbox.
