So Bad, It's Horrible is one of the more flame-bait-y parts of the site, so a cleanup thread is needed to ensure that works aren't added simply because someone doesn't like them.
If you want to list a work under this, keep the following in mind:
- The work must have very few fans or defenders (both genuine and ironic). It should fail to appeal to any type of audience.
- Being offensive in its subject matter isn't enough.
- It isn't horrible just because a certain critic disliked it, though their reviews can be used as sources and citations.
- The work should have notably poor reviews (e.g., less than 3/10 on IMDb, or single digit scores on Rotten Tomatoes)
- For a Moral Substitute to qualify, it cannot even appeal to its target demographic.
- Please be polite while writing and as much as possible, avoid falling into Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. Instead, focus on explaining why the work is horrible.

Given Tumblr's userbase tends to be more generally left-wing than the broader Twitter and Youtube userbase, that's a good sign that the show just sucks across the aisle. I'm sure it'll still be considered bad in a couple weeks, but entries should probably avoid the accusations of "white genocide" or whatever that some people are jumping to. It's just a badly made, really unfunny edgy show, kind of like the Full English entry.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I was gonna suggest waiting a year before adding it so the dust can settle and we can tell if the 1.3 score is review bombing or genuine hatred (I’m heavily leaning towards the former since the show doesn’t quite look like one of the worst pieces of entertainment ever made).
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? The Seltzer and Friedberg entry on Live-Action Film is a poorly-formatted wall of text. I haven't watched or seen any of their movies so someone making a section for their worst films (Epic Movie seems to be a contender going by the description) might help with the clutter.
Millies Darkness has been given a Horrible page - not only is it a fanfic (making it ineligible for this trope), it lists specific moments, of which there are only 3.
This page will be cut-listed anyways, but I just thought it should be brought up here first
Unrelated, but it also has a Flame Bait page

Ha, from the name alone I knew it was a Warriors fic!
Uh, yeah, just cutlist...
Both of these pages were made by Ravengaze Shadow Clan.

I don't think they quite understand what So Bad It's Horrible is for.
Came for the tropes, stayed for the cleanup.I was wondering if anyone thinks it would be a good idea for me (or another mod if I'm away from this thread) to pin the opening post with guidelines for how to decide whether something belongs in SBIH, but I don't think the post's current contents are suitable. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to change it to?
Here's the opening post's source code for convenience's sake, if anyone wants to post a revised version:

"The work must have no fans whatsoever, not even ironic ones. It should fail to appeal to any audience of any kind." Yeah, no, basically nothing fits this standard. Even if you may think something qualifies as this, it's likely the result of Small Reference Pools, anything reasonably well known will have somebody who enjoys it (I watched House of the Dead a couple of days and enjoyed it a decent amount ) and just because you can't see what the appeal of something is, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Also, disallowing complaining on pages designed to list "horrible works" seems... odd. I guesss I can see wanting to make entries not too excessive in it, and avoid personal attacks on the creators, but you're already complaining about it by putting it on there, and that's kinda the point. Plus, you know, the entry needs to explain why the work is horrible.
(Note: The post I responded to was edited slightly after posting this.)

I'm barely there, I'm everywhereOpening post pinned using magnumtropus's writeup.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Since it was mentioned on the last page, something I've been wondering about for a while: does Calling All Stations.... really count as SBIH? You can find fans pretty easily in You Tube comments sections, and it has a 2.26 on RYM (not terrific, but you can find worse easily).
Yeah, I recently saw that ...Calling All Stations... was on horrible and questioned its presence based on the RYM score. Also, the rating distribution is worth looking at for this: https://prnt.sc/24m9u3u
Looking at that, while there's definitely a lot of negative ratings, with the most common being 2 followed by 1.5 stars, there's a pretty similar number of 3s, a decent number of 3.5s and a not insignificant number of ratings higher than that. So, at least based on its RYM ratings, I don't think it fits on the horrible page.

I'm barely there, I'm everywhereWould Diana: The Musical be worthy for this trope? It’s a broadway musical about Princess Diana that was panned for being stupid and tasteless (I can’t name any specifics right now, but I’ll elaborate later)
Here's a contender for the Anime section—Tesla Note. It's still airing right now, but it's currently averaging a 36/100 on Anilist and a 3.8 on MAL. As for the content...let's just say Ex-Arm but without the smoke filter is an apt description of it. As soon as it ends I think I can write it up, but if anyone has any objections please state them
"Blowing it up always works" -RIP Goblin Boommaster, 2014-2015An entry on Anime & Manga reads:
- Blue Flames is a deservedly obscure and aggressively horrible 45-minute OVA from 1989. It concerns a stoic social climber named Ryuichi Kaizu who wants to go to Tokyo University. He is a sex-addicted Invincible Villain Protagonist who uses women as stepping stones to achieve this goal, and he doesn't care if he hurts them at all. For example, the father and brother of one woman he sleeps with ask him to break up with their daughter, so he makes the breakup as harsh as possible, driving her to attempt suicide. Another one of his targets objects to his sleeping around, and when she confronts him about it, he rapes her into submission. Ryuichi has been compared unfavorably to Light Yagami because he lacks any of Light's cool or redeeming qualities. The anime never gives any indication that Ryuichi is in the wrong, and he gets away with everything in the end. As if those reasons weren't enough for it to be considered horrible, the anime also fails technically; it is hideous, with bland designs and animation almost completely devoid of style, which is especially egregious considering that OVAs have higher budgets than TV series. The tone is utterly misogynistic, the pace is sluggish, the voice acting is lackluster, and the soundtrack sounds more like something from a melodramatic soap opera. At least three reviews exist, and can be found here, here and here, but be warned: they don't flinch at describing how disturbing the sexual content is.
I think the entry is a bit too long, but it also misuses Villain Protagonist, since he is not framed by the story as one. Also I would like to remove that Deviantart review; it is disjointed, ranty, ill-informed and generally low quality (and it links to the second part, doubtless because the first starts off with a long rant on Japan's culture in general). The other two reviews are short, but good enough for me. My suggested edits would be:
- Blue Flames is a deservedly obscure 45-minute OVA from 1989. Its production values are very lacking for an OVA (which usually have higher budgets than TV series), with bland designs, art and animation of the lowest quality, sluggish pace, lackluster voice acting, and an unsuited soundtrack. But what makes it awful is its Designated Hero of a protagonist, a stoic social climber named Ryuichi Kaizu who wants to enter Tokyo University. He abuses for his own ends his family and a string of women he seduces, driving one to attempt suicide. In one of the worst cases of misogynistic wish-fulfilment of OVAs of the time, when one woman confronts him, he rapes her and she submits to him. All this is played as heroic. It is little talked about but reviews can be found here and here, though be warned of disturbing sex scenes.
Definitely not. Most musical fans I've seen consider Diana So Bad, It's Good due to its ridiculously campy way of executing the subject matter and very Narmy lyrics. People actively wanted to watch it after word got out about its quality, and some even enjoyed laughing at it.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Okay, I'm declaring that it has been a month, we should restart discussion for the Red Ape Family.
...it's going to be on TV now, wtf.
Anyway, here's what we do know:
- It's animation is considered terrible.
- It's writing is considered terrible.
- It's story barely exists outside of the trailer.
- NFT enthusiasts only like it because of its monetary value.
- Cryptobros payed a lot of money.
- The cryptobros probably don't actually like it, but support it because it's an NFT cartoon.
Links to reviews:
I say we should still wait until after its television release. There's a chance it could be improved before it airs.

Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? That would be a hell of a miracle.
I’d say that they should probably qualify regardless because they do objective harm to the environment at worst and make it impossible to build that gaming pc at best.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? That's about NFTs, not about the show.
We have already discussed that NFTs do not qualify because they presently have a massive fanbase. Whether you think that fanbase is right or wrong to exist, that doesn't negate the fact that they do. I also hate NFTs but adding them feels like a recipe for ROCEJ nightmares.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. To be fair, there's sort of a precedent set by the child abuse manual where if a product causes legitimate harm to people then the fanbase is irrelevant. But I'm not sure if NFTs actually count for that.
As for this cartoon specifically, I'm willing to wait and see if the TV version is altered at all.

Just a note on that example, I've noticed when I search for Santa Inc. on Tumblr, none of the posts I see are that positive so I think that's another point against it. I think the main criticism on Tumblr was Seth's reaction, its raunchy humour, and it's apparently poor quality in general. It could also be review bombing still though and of course, we still need to wait a couple weeks to see the dust settle.
