Inbefore you tempted fate

Thanks Matt for hosting the previous two parts of this season, I appreciate it.

Anyway, I hope you all had a Happy New Year, now let's continue with the show.

NIGHT 5 (alt◊)

• A bug goes splat thanks to Furifuritchi.

• It wasn't bad enough that BBB sold Skooks' sword, now he's turned the latter into nothing more than a means of refreshment. Skooks really should've been more careful with his words, as now only one of the Triforce Piece holders remains.

• Pingu-san really doesn't approve of Wormhole's actions so far, much to the latter's confusion.

• After the thieving he's done earlier this season, Gamera suddenly finds himself on the receiving end thanks to Kafka.

• Gorebyss breaks out the GameSharpedo and expands her arsenal.

• Setback discovers what remains of Aleph Zero, after it got caught on a space-time distortion offscreen, and he is very much disturbed by the sight. Evidently, karma had to catch up to the mathemathical concept sooner or later.

• The OFX-X Mariko goes too far with its cooling treatment.

• What a jerk! Just when Strong Bad tried to not be so bad by helping the Chozo Ghost, the latter decides the former is too virtuous to live, and gives him his last reward.

• Mr. Wolf tries to get sick for some reason.

• Huh, since when did she have that anyway?

THE FEAST (alt◊)

• A big banquet is set up to celebrate the new year, and all the tributes are invited. How can this possibly go wrong?

• Oh, right. By having Setback be the one to prepare the turkey. Turns out the fowl had a way of fighting back, so that's one holiday staple the tributes won't be having today.

• At least we still have burgers to enjoy, or we would if Mr. Wolf hadn't poisoned them before hand, and despite Pingu-san's best efforts, the Chozo Ghost finally gets what's coming to it.

• Okay, so some of the food might have been tainted, but at least the guests can still celebrate together. Only it turns out that some of these tributes' idea of celebration is to gang up Julia. Not even her fighting spirit could help her in this situation.

• My word, how did this get so bad?! Now there is huge fight between two of the guests, Wormhole and BBB. The latter ultimately gets the upper hand and Wormhole is left alone, bleeding out on the ruined banquet tables.

• Well, that was a disaster, at least the fireworks are pretty. Wait, didn't we lose the fireworks a few days ago, then what are we looking at?! Are you saying that it's debris? Huh, so that's where the ship went.

DAY 6 (alt◊)

• Right, after all that mess from earlier, the remaining tributes celebrate by making their best Elvis impersonations, except for Mr. Wolf, who is too busy fiddling with his new Discord Nitro.

Argh, crap. I'm half expecting Kafka to steal the Mass Murderer title from the Chozo Ghost

NIGHT 6 (alt◊)

• Furi solves a Guide Dang It! puzzle.

• It's revealed that Mr. Wolf is apparently an orphan.

• BBB has truly gone off the deep end now, as he goes after the last remainer Triforce Piece holder, Gorebyss. The latter's pleas fall on deaf ears as BBB strikes her down before she could even do the conga.

• Just like back at the Bloobath, Gamera steals something valuable, this time being a ring that's rumored to hold infinite power. Unfortunately for him, the ruins he retrieved the ring from collapse under his weight, and he falls right into a giant pit of lava.

• And Kafka takes a trip down memory lane.

DAY 7 (alt◊)

• "My name is not Ritchi!" The Tamagotchi yells during a fight with Pingu-san.

• The arena prison proves to be ineffective at holding BBB down.

• Kafka prepares an attack on the other canine tribute.

Since I don't think we've heard about Mr. Wolf's parents in canon, I'm gonna assume that he's indeed an orphan unless his movie gets another installment or something. Please forgive me, I haven't seen the movie yet.

NIGHT 7 (alt◊)

• I dunno, his name seems like less of a pun and more like Exactly What It Says on the Tin.

• Diamonds are Pingu-san's best friend.

• Reddit Boi, what.

DAY 8 (alt◊)

• Pingu-san tries to become a superhero by immolating herself, it goes as well as you'd expect.

• For some goshforsaken reason, Furi and Kafka decide to pee on an electric fence. The inevitable happens, and Furi dies in the explosion, while Kafka manages to hold on just long enough to be crowned third place.

• And this season end anticlimactically after BBB drinks a deadly mixture. The sole survivor of the day, Mr. Wolf, wonders what the hell just happened.
