YouTube Channel(s) You've Unsubscribed From and Why

I wouldn't say I unsubscribed from his channel, but I kind of stopped following That Dude In The Suede once he started making his Pokemon retrospective. I kind of miss when he used to review different varieties of anime as a whole, and while I do understand that he has a lot more on his plate now, some of his recent videos kind of became little more than "making up unfunny fake conversations in a weird voice for the sake of dragging out a joke."

I recently unsubbed from Rabbid Luigi. Nothing against him, but the Please Subscribe to Our Channel gags in the middle of countdown items are getting stale, plus they break immersion.

Unsubbed from Let's Dub Project. Nothing against them wanting to move on to original audio drama stuff, it's just I was so looking forward to seeing them do Corpse Party and hearing that it won't be moving past the pilot... I just gave up.

I unsubbed from Pro Jared during the shit that happened, I just don’t feel comfortable supporting him

I also unsubbed from Channel Awesome because of #Changethe Channel. I was already thinking they were not great but that gave an excuse

I also unsubbed from the Roundtable recently, but that’s not because they make bad content or did something bad or whatever, I just want to avoid spoilers for shows I watch, and I’m probably going to resub when I catch up on OK KO

It has been a good while ago but... I unsubbed from Jacksepticeye (even though I used to like him and his vids) because he has more and more videos collaborating with Pewdiepie, and from Markiplier because I thought it may be easier to stay away from Jack/Seán if I unsubbed from Markiplier too.

Another reason to unsub was that I didn't watch an increasing number of their vids.

I briefly subscribed to FusionZGamer today because he's been playing some games lately that look interesting. But I soon unsubscribed because I was bothered by his tendency to seemingly ignore or easily miss things in the game. He laughs and says "What is happening right now?" just because a game is funny or surreal, even when it's clear what's happening. Sorry Fusion, but no thanks.

I recently unsubscribed from The Nostalgia Critic.

Why? His review of The Wall. That's pretty much it.

I recently un subscribed from Stoned Gremlin Productions (Brad Jones).

It wasn't really one video in particular that made me unsubscribe, but more of a gradual thing that I just couldn't ignore anymore - Brad was releasing about half a dozen videos a week, and I would only end up watching maybe one of them. Of his videos, the vast majority were Midnight Screenings reviews or Brad Tries, neither of which video type I ever found particularly creative.

That and, well, going back and looking at some of his videos from only just a few years ago, his more recent videos just seem less... creative? Enthusiastic? The videos just feel a lot lazier and more predictable, and have gotten really repetitive, both in their jokes and subject matter.

I just unsubscribed from Danny Gonzales. Once he started prefacing his videos specifying he was complaining.

One moment in particular, https://youtu.be/iNj0RC4231g at 3:30 when he clearly missed to point of a "sad" tik tok. I'm sure he's smart enough to figure out the actual message but intentionally messed it up for comedy.

Lots of commentary channels are like this but I thought you know, maybe this is a bit different? Guess not

I finally unsubbed from Joshscorcher. So much of his work I just don't give a shit about, and the videos that DO have the potential for me to care about (i.e. the countdowns) are just unbearably annoying, especially by today's standards. Could we all just stop trying to emulate the Nostalgia Critic please?

Alpharad. I subbed to him for some of his Parsec videos, but I quickly began to see that it was mostly for his friends since I don't care at all for him and his "ironic" gamer personality.

Just unsubbed from The Templin Institute's channel. Their content just isn't my cup of tea; if I wanted details on nerdy stuff, I can go to a wiki for it. Just seemed a bit redundant considering my browsing habits.

I stopped looking at commentary channels and I never will ever again. I really want to avoid drama especially from channels that thrive on it.

I just unsubscribed from the official Wallace & Gromit channel because there wasn't anything too interesting being posted. If they ever make a new short film (or better yet, full-length movie) in the series, I don't need the YouTube channel to tell me. I'll find out.

TrueEqulibrium, they were an anime vines channel I used to sub to a while back. Recently I found out their channel was disabled completely so I unsubscribed (no use having a dead channel in your subs, right?)

Just unsubbed from Joshscorcher just now. Let's just say his (ongoing as I'm typing) stream has his buds using a meme that I feel is in bad taste. And it's casually been thrown around a couple times.

I may resub later because he's otherwise a pretty good You Tuber. However, there are times when lines must be drawn.

I unsubscribed from Cilvanis cause while I do enjoy some of his Smash Planet videos especially the one about Isabelle but I'm not a fan of his other videos were he talks about shows from Japan I don't care about a little too much.

I'm on the level of thinking about unsubscribing from Playit Bogart not because he became a drag queen but his recent costumes have been really creeping me out, they're a little too risque for me to look at.

That perfectly describes why I recently unsubscribed from both Craig Thompson's personal channel and his gaming channel, MiniLadd. He'd been doing some sketchy stuff off and on over the last year or so, but it was finding out that he was extremely manipulative toward his most recent ex and was in contact with a girl a few years back that was legally dubious in terms of age of consent was the breaking point. I enjoy his content a lot, but that can't be tolerated.

Too many to list, I've now stuck with 4 channels.

I unsubscribed from every person that stemmed from Channel Awesome. Their content now makes me feel paranoid of how I consume media.

With Twitch booming, I dropped all of the let's play channels I followed.

I used to follow Adam Savage's Tested. I really liked Myth Busters and find Savage is a great guy. The pressure of people's frustration towards his blind enthusiasm made me unsubscribe.

I dropped Philip De Franco. The guy's blunt, level headed, and truthful. The negativity from all of the news was getting to me.

I decided to drop Davie504. I find his old videos much better, and the more memetic direction causes me to lose interest. The last straw to me is the whole thing with TwoSetViolin. It's likely staged, I know, but if they were trying to make it funny, I'm absolutely not impressed. About the only entertainment from him that I respect now is the Fiverr videos, and even then I've had enough.

Cellspex. Her voice was kind of grating, honestly.

I’m technically not on Youtube anymore, but I’ve dropped The Mysterious Mr. Enter. Not only is his Nick-O-Rama series very poorly-researched and biased in hindsight, but as seen in his now-deleted DA, he’s an anti-masker. Oh, goody.
