This was added to Iris's section in Characters.Sakura Wars Flower Division Original Imperial Combat Revue:
- Berserk Button: During the anime, she gets really angry or upset whenever someone mentions her parents. This is due to her being locked up by them throughout her early childhood.
Does this count?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.& Okay, so if he's normally a Troll who loses his rag over one thing, it sounds like he could be an example despite the Hero Worship? That's what I'm getting from this anyway. Would that be about right?
Abuse triggers aren't likely to be an example, but you'd need someone familiar with the work to confirm the context.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Yeah, I'd say that's about right.
Given that being abused or having a traumatic past is an understandable reason to get upset (along with a loved one being hurt, etc.), I also think we can remove it. However, I removed the entry from Iris's section once not too long ago and it was re-added again, so since I don't want to get involved in an Edit War situation, what's the best possible solution?

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I think it's been less than a month since the last post. Is there anything new?
I'll be over on DeviantArt if you need me.I mean, idk. I just sort of delete misuse when I see it; I never see much point in actually bringing it to this thread.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThis was just added to Syndrome's section on Characters. The Incredibles:
- Berserk Button: Do not call him either Buddy or Incrediboy, especially if you're Mr. Incredible.
I'm not sure if this entry counts. Thoughts?

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself. It was a one-time thing and part of what bolstered his monologue, so I'd say cut it.
Silver and gold, silver and goldJust did, citing this discussion.
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Does this recently added example for Brandish from Characters.Fairy Tail Alvarez Empire count?
- Berserk Button: Don't mistake her fashion sense as an inroad to ask her if she's willing to be a shameless exhibitionist.
I would delete it. At the very least, it is partial-context, as it doesn't describe what her reaction is to the alleged button.
That seems very specific, too. Does she just assume every question is for that reason, or has this exact scenario happened to her before?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness- A Certain Scientific Railgun: Mikoto Misaka suffers from A-Cup Angst, so she gets pissed off when people look down on her for having small breasts or flaunt their assets. Misaki Shokuhou enjoys doing both to rile her up. Also, the first time Touma Kamijou met Mikoto, some delinquents were trying to hit on her. Touma stepped in to help, but called them pedophiles for hitting on a child. Mikoto, who is a teen, gets so pissed off about being mistaken for a child that she attacks them all with electricity.
As far as i can recall, I don't think she usually gets actually angry when her A-Cup Angst comes up. I think the only time it makes her properly angry is in relation to shokuhou, and even then she doesn't actually get violent over it.
Beyond that, her and shokuhou are basically "arch-frenemies" so almost every interaction between them is heated regardless of topic.
It's also, in general, not terribly difficult to get misaka riled up
Like, if touma didn't intervene she still would have blasted all those guys with lightning, just for different reasons.
Any feedback?
I'd just delete that.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFrom Hamilton
- Berserk Button: Hamilton, otherwise worshipful of Washington, takes exception to being called "son".
Hamilton: Call me son ONE MORE TIME!
Also from the character sheet:
- Berserk Button: And not just one, given his fiery temper. He doesn't take well to Washington calling him "son" at all, a bursar questioning his intellect got him punched in the face by Hamilton as well as just about any matter remotely concerned with honor. And Jefferson's snide remarks about his clothes.
Do these really count? In the context of the musical, you'll understand why he doesn't like being called "son" by Washington, because his own father left him.
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectPlus, it's a one-off thing and not a repeated "button" IIRC, and closer to a Rage Breaking Point in context.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. From Characters.Fairy Tail Juvia Lockser:
- Berserk Button: Complimenting or showing any sign of a romantic interest and Juvia will just give you a Death Glare. Now, even saying that you intend to harm Gray, Juvia will unleash her righteous fury and fight with a ferocity that would frighten even Erza.
Since it was removed before for misuse (history is here), but re-added just now, I wonder if this example really counts? I've got a feeling getting angry over a loved one being threatened (in this case, Gray) is an understandable reaction.

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.
Yeah. He's usually a rude Troll who enjoys being disrespectful and annoying. But he doesn't have a Hair-Trigger Temper.
