No kidding.
Now that I think about it, he is the same voice as Vega. I'm surprised I missed that.
One Strip! One Strip! Then again, Zoids Zero and Inuyasha are dubbed by The Ocean Group, so it's not that surprising.
And the fact that Nanase Aikawa did the openings of the series. (The third one for Inuyasha)
Richard Ian Cox voiced both Bit and Inuyasha
Kelly Sheridan voiced Leena, Chris and Sango
Samuel Vincent voiced Brad, Dark Judge, Sebastian as well as Tokajin
Brad Swaile voiced Harry and Nobunaga Amari
Saffron Henderson voiced Naomi, Eri and Souta
Matt Smith voiced both Sanders, Hojo and his ancestor.
Alaina Burnett voiced both Pierce and Lady Izayoi
Don Brown voiced Major Altile, Benjamin, Jaken and Inu no Taisho
Alex Doduk voiced both Vega and Kohaku.
Scott McNeil voiced both Polta, Stoller, the Zoid Battle Chairman and Koga
Brian Drummond voiced both Jack and Renkotsu
Sharon Alexander voiced Sarah and Tsubaki
The original japanese version also have some seiyuus:
Motoko Kumai voiced both Vega and Hiyoshimaru
Ryōka Yuzuki voiced both Chris and Princess Tsuyu
And many, many more...

Strike Laser Claw!!Late to the party but I remember another big turnoff for me about Fuzors was the sound design. I remember the weapon sounds all being kinda weak "pew pew" laser noises which were just plain awful sounding.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Fuzors was just a perfect storm of bad ideas and execution.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, there was nothing like the Panzer Liger that had gigantic plasma cannons and huge racks of missiles on it.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Fuzors was bad, but I think the anime suffers from the Americans Hate Tingle syndrome.
Japan-wise, the most hated Zoids anime series is New Century Zero. Blame Sequel Gap.
1999-2000 Chaotic Century
2001 New Century
2004-2005 Fuzors (although debuted on 2003 in the USA.)
2005-2006 Genesis
From 2002 to 2003 there's no Zoids anime in Japan. Coincidence?

Strike Laser Claw!!I did hear that New Century is the least liked series in Japan.
Perhaps they disliked the shift from war story to Episodic battle series?
Been watching a Let's Play of Zoids Legacy. Seen a few new zoids I never caught before, but as always, the dude playing is really annoying. He can't pronounce certain words, trips over his tongue constantly, and is just everything I dislike about LP's.
Still, it's interesting to see a bit more of the other Zoids media beyond the anime.

One Strip! One Strip!Double Post:
Finished the LP of Legacy, and started watching one of Battle Legends...but got bored real quick. It seems the Zoids games aren't much for story.
Edit: Started up Legends again. Skipped the battles to go through the story quickly. Like I said, pretty basic.
Also finished Fuzors. Boy, this series sure loves the Eleventh Hour Super Power trope doesn't it. It's most blatant in Fuzors and Genesis, where the hero just suddenly wins by believing hard enough.
So...wow. What the bugger do I do now?

One Strip! One Strip!Good news: I've found the japanese version of Zoids New Century.
Bad news: It's Korean subbed.
Video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWdoc03c-Y4&list=PLwlu77lipBkK4oHxVMUSQY1xbhu_7-D-a
Strike Laser Claw!!Oh wow. That's the whole series too isn't it?
I mean, if someone wanted to english sub it, that's their chance right there.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, except for episodes 19 and 24.
Still, is a good oportunity to compare the characters' voice actors in both English and Japanese.
Strike Laser Claw!!Huh. The dude with the Korean subs of Zero is now posting Korean subs of Fuzors.
If he gets CC, then the chance to sub all three series will finally come.
One Strip! One Strip!Looks like there's going to be a new Zoids anime, "Zoid Wild", airing summer 2018. The preview seems to have the "pilots" riding their zoids on the outside, rather than from a cockpit, which is... certainly something. But it's not like I'm not going to watch it.
I should probably get around to watching Genesis and Fuzors before then, because why not.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. The design for the main character makes me think of a more typical Mons Series.
Apparently there is a void called the Saberlion that's piloted in exactly that manner.
Anyway, this seems like it's going to be more of a kids show than anything else that came before it.
One Strip! One Strip!I got into Zoids sometime in late 2014/early 2015 and binge-watched all the anime and had a pretty good time (Fuzors is definitely the weakest in my book, though). Bought several of the kits and Battle Legends for my Wii. Good times.
I'm really excited for this new series. I'm so glad to see this series coming back, even if I got into it well past its heyday.
/crawls back under rockSomehow, the Zoid riding bothers me a lot less since at least the Zoids here look designed for it. I'd honestly be a lot more bothered to see classic ones get a size reduction while still having clearly visible cockpits. Guess they want to sell the mechanical lifeform part more this time.
I'm cool with it, at least the new Zoids they've shown off are gorgeous.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"A new Zoids anime? Good! Let's rejoice!
Strike Laser Claw!!I wonder if they're throwing out the war story?
Then again, isn't Chaotic Century the most popular of the series in Japan? I know that while New Century is more well liked it, that's more due to being brought here first, and that it's not that well liked in it's home country.
Not totally sure how Fuzors and Genesis did though.

One Strip! One Strip! The kids are riding around on baby zoids and they develop proper cockpits as they grow to full size.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.New trailer for Zoids Wild. The anime will premier on 6/30.
The cast includes the following;
- Kensho Ono as Arashi
- Takahiro Sakurai as Bacon
- Mikako Komatsu as Penne
- Etsuko Kozakura as Onigiri
- Subaru Kimura as Gyoza
Man. It feels like Zoids has gone more Pokemon than ever before.
One Strip! One Strip!How so?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. And once again, Takahiro Sakurai voices a character from the Zoids franchise.
Too bad he didn't voiced someone in Genesis...
Strike Laser Claw!!
They just kinda look like characters out of Pokemon truthfully, or out of your run of the mill Mons series.
One Strip! One Strip!
The first Lan was Alex Doduk, which did Vega Obscura. And Kohaku. Even funnier, most Zoids voice actors did some roles in Inuyasha.
Strike Laser Claw!!
