- Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
- Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
- If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here
instead.
- Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.

I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

As I said, why not? If we have countless pages about fanfictions and other fanwork I see no reason not to include one of the most influential persons of the Cold War. We even have a page about Pol Pot, Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud and other historical people without any examples of fictional works listed where they are included. As for Tito he was included in numerous works like the Battle at the Sutjeska where he was played by Richard Burton or in the manga Ishi No Hana for example. Not to mention he is Trope Overdosed and at least in the Balkans a fountain of memens.

Alright, you've convinced me, at least from a consistency point of view — I'm still not sure we actually want those pages. But the article gets locked the instant it turns into Misplaced Nationalism or Flame Warring.

Thanks! :) We'll try to keep things civil but normally he shouldn't be more of a Flame Bait then Hitler or Stalin. And if we didn't have a serious Flame War about the Yugoslav Wars I'm confident about Tito.

Tainted By The Fanbase, simply remove all real life examples this time around. Maybe move it to the Darth Wiki. It would work well at the Darth wiki, since the page was essentially "Why it happens and why you shouldn't let it happen. Maybe not as humorous as the rest of the Darth, but it keeps in theme and would be easier to cull the complaining since hardly anyone comes to Darth Wiki anymore."

So Bad It's Horrible seems to have been cut by accident, as someone was confused and thought that the ptitle was a redirect. Can it be unlocked? I have the text saved on my computer if it is.

Unlocked. Seems that we don't actually have general agreement on whether Fanfic should be CamelCase when it's used as a namespace. I would prefer that it not be, as CamelCase namespaces have some technical problems. But either way, Fanfic.Trouble and FanFic.Trouble are the same page.
