It's not a couple though. It's a continuing string of sociopathic, misogynistic, and at times pedophiliac entries spread out across these articles. I know for one I was very offended at the LGBT entry in the Noble Bigot Troper Tales page. I really don't know why that had any business being posted, to be quite honest.
And really, if Troper Tales is axed, what's the worst that will happen? People might come and complain, saying "But that was a completely awesome thing that happened to me!" So why can't they post it with their internet handle if it really was that awesome? If it's not even true, why does there need to be a place for people to bullshit on that kind of scale? And why would you want people bullshitting about all the things they wish they did to the bullies in high school, or to Tails?

Look, we have a mechanism in place already to flag pages that need mod attention. It's in the tools sidebar — third item down — "This article needs some moderator assistance with" and then there's a nice big box to explain why you're flagging it. If you really want to help, use that. Give a helpful explanation. Pushing to simply throw out all the Troper Tales on the grounds that they're creepy and horrible isn't going to fly.

Because the Creepy Ones are the ones people remember when they visit this site dude and that reflects badly on us. If it truly is just one or two, per non creepy page...then yes I we need to do is some janitorial work. If its like a quarter of the Tales...then that reflects that the userbase attracted to this part of that site is too contaminated be allowed to use that function in the first place. Rather than ban everyone, shutting it down would do wonders.
Axe the whole thing. Those pages that aren't creepy or hateful seem to just exist to inflate the egos of those posting in them. It makes the entire wiki look bad.

The main wiki at least has some worth as a collection of common devices in media. Natter is a byproduct that is dealt with. Troper Tales, however, will always be creepy in one form or another because the general population of Troper Tales is creepy people who are posting in disturbing subjects. That is its intention; for tropers to post their experiences related to tropes. It won't work, fundamentally.

Don't bother to say "all of them". Name specific Troper Tales pages that should be axed. An "UP" Vote means you think it should be cut completely. A "DOWN" vote means it should be kept.
"I don't care for this page" is not a reason to cut it. "This page is unsalvagable. Kill it with fire" is.

Entries and neither offensive nor disturbing. They simply present the way some tropers, for whatever reason, view the world around them, which is surely not the reason for cutting.
The example given in "for cutting" point of view is not typical. Such rare examples of ego-stroking can be monitored.
Pro: A choice entry: "This troper isn't one, but sure finds them attractive. ;)" as well as one claiming to have doglike Cute Little Fangs. Has a lot of the problems the entries for the Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette trope had before the name change.
Con: Nothing a Wiki Curator can't monitor and fix.

Keep: Sure we do! It's amusing, it's not disturbing or anything, and it isn't hurting anyone.
There are no creepy or vastly inappropriate examples on the page that would merit a cut.
This is not a Fetish FuelBut More Specific page either, after reading the examples. Some people may like it, but that's not what this page is about, making it so that new examples have to consist of more than "I think smaller breasts are hawt", meriting it's keeping compared to other pages.
