  • Complete Monster:
    • Duke Theseion Solon, the well-respected ruler of the land, is actually an abusive sociopath. Viewing his children as extensions of himself, Theseion would regularly beat them for stepping out of line, while using his daughter Medea to boost his reputation by taking credit for her work. Regarding his servants as expendable, Theseion beat Medea's nanny to near-death for making Medea "soft", while leaving his poisoned butler to die in fear that he'll expose his abusive nature to the public. During the war, Theseion created a monastery meant to provide over a hundred orphaned children with everything they need, only for it to be used by Theseion for his child trafficking operation, where the orphans are sold as prostitutes, Child Soldiers, or drug mules, while allowing his partner Horen to torture them to his liking.
    • Marquess Horen Pauls is one of the nastiest of Medea Solon's enemies. During a war, Horen is a leading figure in running a human trafficking operation where war orphans are sold into horrific conditions such as becoming child soldiers, drug mules, or sex slaves. A psychopath, Horen also uses the orphans to indulge his sadistic fantasies by torturing and murdering them for fun. After suspecting that Medea has sent her workers to him as "spies", he orders them to be abused before trying to kill them all. Even at trial for his crimes, Horen is so narcissistic that he goes so far as to blame the families of his victims.
  • Les Yay: Medea and Psyche. Whenever they're together, the atmosphere is practically on fire.
Medea: It aches me to not wipe away your tears for fear that those watching might see.
  • Magnificent Bastard: Lady Medea Solon is a cunning, elegant and manipulative noblewoman who will do anything to achieve the throne. After being raised by her abusive parents, Medea dedicated herself to becoming a genius manipulator and chessmaster who plays others for fools. Medea helped to secure her country's victory in a war through her battle tactics and now desires to defeat her monstrous father and Prince Eros who have tormented her. Over the series, Medea has carried out various genius schemes, from intentionally spreading a rumour to cause her father to turn on her and cause him to be executed, to intentionally endangering her servants and then saving them after their near deaths to put them forever in her debt. Medea is also a master of showmanship and orchestrates a trial that sends her enemies to their deaths while at the same time endearing her to the public. Always cool, calm and elegant with a new scheme or plan to defeat the competition, Medea is the epitome of a Machiavellian schemer.
  • Ship-to-Ship Combat: There's been some disagreements between the ships Helio/Medea and Medea/Psyche among some of the fans. The people who sided with Helio/Medea love how they're Childhood Friends and appreciates Helio's Undying Loyalty and devotion towards Medea. Those who firmly support the pairing Medea/Psyche dislike how submissive and seemingly one-sided their bond can be which is why they prefer their Les Yay pairing. They tend to appreciate the chemistry and Character Development between the two girls during the course of the series. Then to a lesser degree Medea/Perion have been gaining a lot of traction recently too.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The Art Evolution of the webtoon has garnered a lot of fan criticism recently. This is caused by the author (who's also the artist) hiring art assistants to help in the project to avoid Schedule Slip (Your Throne has never gone on any hiatus or even a break), which led to some design changes.
