- Awesome Art: Despite being little more than silly comedy shorts, the animation is consistently fluid, dynamic and visually pleasing. Calli's alley run
in "Reaper What You Sow" is particularly well-done. - Best Known for the Fanservice: Whenever Lui shows up in an episode, the camera tends to pan to her legs, usually up close. These moments often end up being the most replayed and talked about, for obvious reasons.
- Bizarro Episode: Episode 250, a Homage to Lucky Star, which manages to be bizarre because it's not bizarre. Instead of the usual rapid-fire comedy, it's instead the girls having chill Seinfeldian Conversations with each other, which is so out of place for the series that it loops back around to being odd.
- Memetic Mutation: Whenever an episode gets too crazy, you'll be bound to find various comments that pretty much says "So it's a normal episode".
- Memetic Psychopath: While Suisei and Korone themselves have earned their positions regarding this, Sora of all people begins to have this reputation thanks to her combined Dull Eyes of Unhappiness Death Glare when she is pissed. Give her a katana, and she'll let you know why she is the daisenpai of hololive. Then you got episode 249 where she wields a large axe and wants to cut Miko down, as if Sui-chan wasn't available and Sora took her place.
- Signature Scene:
- Suisei's debut episode where she introduces herself and kills her friends in Tetris.
- Subaru's wrestling move on Watame. The scene was so memorable, Great-O-Khan, a professional wrestler in Japan, actually used the move himself basing on Subaru's move on Watame.
- Spiritual Successor: The animated shorts are the replacement and technical successor of Miko no Tsutome!, with a much stronger focus on Random Events Plot and pop cultural references.
- Unexpected Character:
- Let's just say no one expected Ina and Gura to appear in the series, and they make their debut with the cast of UMISEA. And Chloe.
- Shien and Roberu from holostars makes their first debut in the series with the former with Fubuki and Ina to promote Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and the latter voicing an NPC.
- Woolseyism: As viewers often note, whoever writes the captions for other languages clearly has a lot of fun with them. The translations will very frequently make jokes, puns, and the occasional reference that fit better in the new language than the original Japanese (such as Kanata's Pre Ass Kicking One Liner in "First Look" being changed from a shonen-esque battle cry to "Gonna kick yer candy ass!").
