Nightmare Fuel / hololive - Holo no Graffiti

Go To

While holo no Graffiti usually leans towards a comedic slant, a few of their videos boast a "Horror" tag, and they are not kidding with how unsettling they can be.

  • "And Then There Were None";
    • This episode starts off strong with Sora telling ghost stories with Mio, Subaru, and Haato. She eventually gets up to turn on the lights and disappears down a hallway, causing the other 3 girls to go looking for her. She gets a Cat Scare in with a flashlight before turning it off, with Miko (who had been on a snack run) returning to the offices with...Sora, who had been with Miko the whole time.
    • Look carefully at Subaru, Mio, and Haato right before "Sora's" flashlight turns off at the end... there are too many hands in that frame, and none of them could come from any of the three girls. "Sora" wasn't the only ghost present that day.
  • "Movie Appreciation Night" has Roboco, Flare, and Pekora trying to get A-Chan and Sora to join in their horror movie night, only for it to be revealed at the end that the trio were actually doppelganger ghosts and were tempting to Kill and Replace them.
    Ghost!Roboco: "Too bad we didn't get her."
    Cut to empty room with a "fake" ghost detector going off
    • The thumbnail actually alludes to the doppelgangers' existence as it looks like Pekora is gasping in shock but upon closer inspection, it's actually her doppelganger's hand suffocating her. Her actual hands are both obscured and hard to see due to the color of her gloves being black. The endcard also shows the arms of the doppelgangers trying to reach for Sora and A-Chan, but are visually obscured by the text and the suggestion for another video. One of the most popular comments pointed out more of the subtle details throughout the video that shows the existence of the doppelgangers before the reveal.
  • "Everybody's Scary When Mad" involves Matsuri, Marine, and Sora working with magic crayons that bring anything drawn by them to life. Sora sadistically brandishing a katana is off-putting, but the tension is dispersed quickly when Marine explains that the anything brought to life by the crayons disappears after a set time. Then, Matsuri realizes everyone else around her has suddenly disappeared like the props, and the short swivels into existential horror as she, too, fades away.
  • "On the Tail" involves Miko chasing Suisei over a pair of 2002 glasses. While this may sound silly, as Suisei begins to run for dear life, she can hear bells chiming in her head to indicate Miko's presence nearby, prompting her to run even further away. This escalates to the point that no matter how far Suisei can get away, Miko is always right behind her, even after seemingly missing an oncoming train. Luckily, it was All Just a Dream. A bad dream... until Suisei notices the very same broken 2002 spectacles from the start.
