Sonic X Gone Horribly Wrong is an abridged parody series created by Pickle Fandubs. You can find the channel HERE

Note: This series now has a prequel known as [The Adventures Of Squeaky Voice Sonic The Adventures Of Squeaky Voice Sonic].

Sonic X Gone Horribly Wrong makes fun of every character, but all in good spirit. Here are some tropes relating to the series:

  • Abridged Series: Doy.
  • Adaptation Distillation: The series is simplified a lot and sometimes fight scenes are cut out due to being too "boring".
  • Affectionate Parody: The creator doesn't actually hate any of the characters, but she still makes fun of a lot of them.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: Any time a character has had a crush on someone, it has always been unrequited.
  • Gag Dub: Obviously.
  • Character Exaggeration: Amy and Chris become more annoying. A lot more annoying.
  • Characterization Marches On: Tails' original thing was being a nerd with a high pitched scratchy voice. Somewhere down the line he became a deeper voiced cynic who only cares about Sonic and Cream.
    • Chris wasn't originally whiny, though he was still selfish and annoying.
    • Decoe and Bocoe went from having little personality other than being robots, to suddenly being a "fabulous" gay couple.
    • In episode 18, Tails remembers how he met Sonic, including a startling alternate personality he had "back in the day", where he was annoying and talkative, complete with a parody of his OVA voice
  • Bratty Half-Pint: Chris. He whines and complains about literally EVERYTHING.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: The fourth wall is broken a few times.
    • In episode 1, Chris announces that soon he'll take over as the main character.
    • In episode 6, due to the episode being so short, Chris' parents Nelson and Lindsey sing a song to lengthen the episode, and the song is actually about the fact that it is to lengthen the episode. Sonic then thinks about how boring the day was because he didn't fight any bad guys.
    • The fourth wall is broken quite a lot, actually.
  • Call-Back: At the end of episode 5, it said "Fight scenes are boring. Sonic always wins." This was mentioned again in episode 18. In episode 21, the description said "Race scenes are boring. Sonic always wins."
  • Cargo Ship: Tails is now married to the X Tornado, and he thought a helicopter was beautiful one time.
    • Rouge falls in love with any jewel she steals.
  • Catchphrase: Sonic's catchphrase in this series appears to be "I'm outta here!"
    • Chris has recently started saying "I'm telling mommy!"
    • Chris also has a tendency to say "It's not good enooooouuugh!"
    • Episode 13 has Sonic often exclaim "OPTIMIST POWAH!!"
    • Another one of Chris' catchphrases is "This is boriiiiing!"
  • Contractual Genre Blindness: In episode 7, Sonic acknowledges that he shouldn't run across a rickety bridge over a bottomless chasm but he says he'll do it anyway "because *he's* stupid".
    • In episode 17, Knuckles acknowledges that he doesn't have to give Dr Eggman the chaos emerald, but "STOOPID KNUX BEST KNUX!"
  • Cluster Bleep-Bomb: Knuckles in episode 17 to annoy the people at the "family friendly bar"
  • The Cynic: Tails becomes this starting in episode 9.
  • Dirty Kid: Amy suddenly becomes really inappropriate in episode 20!!
  • Department of Redundancy Department: Chris' name in the "Sonic X GHW Thingy"? Bratty the bratty brat.
  • Expy: Mr Stewart talks like Professor Snape. He even says a couple of his quotes "Don't lie to me" and "Turn to page 394".
  • Frothy Mugs of Water: The fact that orange juice replaces alcohol in the 4kids dub has been lampshaded a couple times.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Pretty much everyone (especially in episode 1) but mainly Cream. Even when she's mad.
Cream: (running angrily out door) GOSH DARN YOU TO HECK!!
    • The family friendly bar in episode 17.
    We say heck here!
  • Just a Stupid Accent: The creator often puts on random accents for side characters, as well as an Italian accent for Ella, a Japanese accent for Mr Tanaka, and an English accent for Lindsey.
  • Lampshade Hanging: Episode 4 begins with Chris "asking" to be part of Sonic's adventures. First he wants to be his loyal best friend, but Tails already fills that role. Then, he asks to be Sonic's stalker, to which Amy protests. Finally, he decides to be the annoying tagalong kid with the annoying voice.
Cream: (in an annoying high-pitched voice) Sorry! Already taken!
  • Larynx Dissonance: The creator voices the entire cast, and so they all sound feminine.
  • Leitmotif In episode 6, Nelson Thorndyke sings a song called about lengthening the episode. In episode 19, his wife Lindsey sings a song of a similar tune called "My Beautiful Face".
  • Stalker with a Crush: Amy, to scary levels.
  • The Pollyanna: Despite being surrounded by annoying weirdos, Sonic still manages to somehow retain a positive spirit.
  • Tagalong Kid: Chris is basically this, seeing as he is pretty much useless in battle.
    • Cream
    Useless characters to the rescue!
  • The Stinger: Episode 8 has one due to being too short. It is an animation of the creator showing her Sonic-obsessed friend an episode of her series. The friend is not too impressed.
    • Episode 20 had Chris singing "I'm too sexy" at the end.
  • The Unintelligible: Almost any time a character is on the phone, they are talking to a recurring mystery lady named Lorraine, who speaks in chipmunk noises from the other end of the line.
  • Rope Bridge: "Oh wow! A rickety old bridge over a bottomless chasm! Totally original concept!"
  • Vocal Evolution: Tails' voice dropped quite a bit between episodes 8 and 10, to the point where it was lower than SONIC'S at one point.
    • His voice temporarily became high pitched and scratchy again in episode 12 but soon dropped again, though not as low as episode 10.
  • What Could Have Been: Was originally going to be a parody of 4kids that was family friendly to cheesy levels. The 4kids aspect was mostly dropped after the first few episodes although later episodes still reference 4kids at times. The family friendly part is pretty much gone now, though there's still no cursing.
  • Woman of a Thousand Voices: The creator keeps having to make up different sounding voices due to being the voice actress of all the characters.
