David Ilesanmi (born May 29, 2004), better known online as Onevilage, is a Nigerian TikTok personality who uploads skits which are originally from his TikTok.

Onevilage created his channel on November 11, 2019 and uploaded his first video on November 9, 2020. Due to his videos being formatted into YouTube Shorts, they received popularity, which boosted his subscriber count and view count, having over 4 billion views as of 2022.

He uploads skits which consists of random characters, played by David, doing or saying things that would usually end up as a plot twist. Many of his videos contain face distortions, loud audio, and other effects.

Onevilage's videos provide examples of the following tropes:

  • Bears Are Bad News: In one video, a guy runs into a bear and starts praying, only for the bear to start praying as well. The bear then explains that he always prays before eating, prompting the guy to book it.
  • Hope Spot: In "When the doctor tells you bad news", the patient thinks he has until the year 2050 to live, but it's shortly revealed after that he misunderstood the doctor saying he has until 20:50 to live.
  • Ironic Echo:
  • Literal-Minded: "When you are leaving to school early": The son is getting his report card, and his dad tells him that if he fails, he should forget he's his dad. When the dad later asks about results, his son tells him "Who are you?".
  • Never Bareheaded: A Running Gag on the channel is David filming all his videos with his head covered.
  • Skewed Priorities: One video has an armless guy either choose to get two arms or an iPhone 14. Guess what he picked.
  • Take That!:
    • "How teachers expect us to act during a fight" towards teachers who don't know how to handle fights between students.
    • "What people think when I say I'm African" towards people who make National Stereotypes.
  • Unexpectedly Dark Episode: "When you are working at a pizza place and this happens": An order comes in for a pizza with salami, olives and spinach. When the delivery man goes to the house, he finds no one home. Later, the pizza place owner locks up and goes home, coming across the street from which the pizza order was made and sees cops around one house. Just then, the realization hits him: the order of Salami, Olives, Spinach spells SOS.
  • Wham Shot:
    • The mom and the girlfriend dying in "When all men over 25 die."
    • The doctor checking the time to see 20:49 after he told his patient that he has until 20:50 to live, which the patient misunderstood as the year.
    • The bearded guy asking for his friend's shaver and later walking back in with his beard still.
    • The pizza shop owner coming across the house one order was made from, and finding police around. He then realizes that the order of Salami, Olives, Spinach was a cry for help.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: In "When the teacher says 'We are not doing any work today'", David is happy to see his class not doing any work and ordering pizza, only for the teacher to tell him his mom came to pick him up early.
