She is well-known for her flawless looks, her youthful energy and her high following on Instagram, which she took in with her during her run on RuPaul's Drag Race.

As part of the Haus of Edwards, where her drag mother is fan favourite, Alyssa Edwards, Plastique was expected to do well in her season. Her performance, lip syncing and fashion skills were praised throughout however, she was unable to meet expectations during other challenges. Plastique was eliminated from the competition on the ninth episode, meaning she placed eighth overall.

Plastique Tiara provides examples of the below tropes:

  • Boring, but Practical: Her signature silhouette of a corset with a flowing open front skirt was called out in the first episode of RuPaul's Drag Race as the challenge was to create a unique look.
  • Creator's Pet: Competitors accused producers of trying to set up Plastique to place in the final four of RuPaul's Drag Race when she got a visit from her drag mother, Alyssa Edwards, a video message from her boyfriend and affirmation from RuPaul all on the same episode.
  • Gratuitous Foreign Language: Likes to throw out some of lines of Vietnamese every so often. However, technically English is her foreign language.
