WMG / Voltes V: Legacy

What if those other candidates were present on base when the Boazanians attacked?

Little John would still manage to take up a role in the base as Mission Control analyzing the status of the robot, just like he did in canon.

Who is the spy for the Boazanians in the Camp Big Falcon?

  • It's a generic guy not seen previously. We've seen a male character take candid pictures of Steve in a previous episode.
    • Confirmed to be Apable, the soldier who had shot Steve in his final training exam. Or at least the spy wears his name tag.
    • Except that's actually Jossed; he may be a spy, but it's not for the Boazanians.
  • It's Eva defecting out of petty illogical jealousy.
    • Jossed for now since it turns out she had been taking out classified information on Dr. Smith's orders to review. Eva still takes the time to rub this in Jamie's face for falsely accusing her of being a spy.
  • There's more than one spy, and Zardoz is just pretending there's only one in case his communications are being tapped/overheard.
  • There's only one spy, but Eva is collaborating with him.
    • The Episode 25 teaser seems to imply there's something between the two.
    • The Episode itself reveals that this is because she caught the spy reporting secret information, though he claims he's working for a defense contract supplier rather than the Boazanians. Which still makes him a spy, just for a different party, if that's true. Apable tries to bribe Eva with his share of the bounty, but she instead wants something else (in exchange for not reporting him for corporate espionage): the removal of Jamie Robinson so Eva can take her place in the Voltes Team.
  • It's a shapeshifter, who has taken the appearances of the above two.
  • The spy must have had their appearance changed to look like one of Camp Big Falcon personnel they discreetly replaced via body surgery as seen with Zuhl, who is nearby the operation table that has a body being covered in a white blanket.
    • All Jossed. The spy turns out to actually be Judy/Judalah, Big Bert's erstwhile girlfriend.

Voice actors and actresses for Voltes V: Legacy's future foreign dubs, such as Japanese.
For the English dub, it's inevitable that American voice actors of Filipino descent will take part there due to the adaptation being a Filipino-made one.
  • Either Christine Marie Cabanos or Faye Mata will voice Jamie. The other VA will then have to take the role of Eva, considering the two characters' rivalry.
  • Either Anne Yatco or Ratana will voice Mary Ann due to both having voiced motherly roles before.

Who is the defense contract supplier Apable was working for as a spy within Camp Big Falcon?
Daiga was made from Vaizanger's salvaged parts; hence their similar appearances..
  • This does make sense; since Daiga is a more powerful version of Vaizanger, but more like a three horned ogre, and it was a Stealthy Colossus that escaped from Voltes V's line of sight just like Vaizanger.
  • As the aftermath of the first battle against Zoldier turns out, this is plausible, as Zuhl salvages the Beast Fighter's scraps to rebuild it.

Baron Zander's disappearance will tie in to a future adaptation.
In the anime, Baron Zander is killed alongside Oslak, but here he teleports out of the way, leaving Oslak to perish by the Posi-Negatron. Yet here he survives...and nothing more is shown of his whereabouts. Given all the planets name-dropped throughout the show, such as Campbell from Combattler V and Brahmin from Daimos, it could be that he escapes to one of those planets and somehow causes an invasion of Earth.

Unlike the original anime which aired on TV Asahi, Legacy will air on TV Tokyo when it's time to air it in Japan.
Considering the latter has been home to a lot of acquired foreign programming, it makes sense that a remake of a Japanese property will go to one that airs a lot of foreign shows dubbed in Japanese. Other contenders also include NHK and Fuji TV as they have also aired foreign shows as well (But not to a bigger extent as TV Tokyo does).

The show will have exclusive streaming rights per country/region.
Specifically, Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club in Japan (Because of course it's still a Toei co-production), Peacock in the US (Since the original anime also is streamed there), and Netflix in other countries.
