Voice acting will be added to future versions
While it's still in early access, everything is in text boxes. Future updates could introduce voice acting in both Japanese and English.

Craftopia and Palworld are set in the same universe
With many things being similar in both games (and not just in terms of shared assets), it feels like Craftopia is either another part of the same world as Palworld, or possibly even in said world's past.

New updates/new Pals
  • Quivern will have a demonic dragon counterpart in the next update. If the angelic Quivern accidentally crushes you, you're sent to Heaven. If this evil dragon crushes you on purpose, legend has it you're sent to Hell.
    • This may or may not be the unreleased Dragostrophe, which looks like an "evil" Quivern, that sends anyone who dares encounter it into the abyss.
  • Dark Mutant will be 63b Lunaris Noct, a dark elemental variation of the alien-like Pal as both are similar, it will probably be, like Dragostrophe, the boss of a dungeon.
  • The rest of The Four Gods, since we have Suzaku.
    • Seiryu could be an azure Grass/Dragon with a body shape similar to Jormuntide. It could have high proficiency in Planting and Gathering.
    • Byakko could be a Neutral or Ice type white metallic tiger. It could have high proficiency in Mining and Lumbering because of its metal claws.
    • Genbu could be a black Water type tortoise encountered near shores. Due to its black coloration, it could even be a Water/Dark type, making it our first nocturnal watering pal.
    • If Koryu is present, it would be a yellow Ground/Dragon type.

The Four Gods are actually in the game already, not just Suzaku
  • Seiryu: If we go by the Green Is Blue interpretation of its Chinese name Qinglong, then Dinossom represents Seiryu as it's a green Grass/Dragon type. Alternatively, we do have a blue Dragon-type in Jormuntide, though it isn't Grass element.
  • Byakko: Cryolinx's internal name is "WhiteTiger" and it's a tiger-like Pal. Its huge claws basically act as mountain-climbing icepicks, which are metallic, hence relating to the Metal element. Their natural habitat is in the Astral Mountains, a region in the far West of the map.
  • Genbu: Digtoise is a tortoise with a black shell, and while it is Ground-elemental, it does learn the water-elemental Aqua Gun naturally. They also can be located in one of the northernmost areas, the Sand Dunes.

The Brothers of the Eternal Pyre plan on setting the World Tree on fire
Much like the Frenzied Flame from Elden Ring, this faction plans on igniting the big tree in the distance. What else could the "eternal pyre" be referring to?

Axel from the Brothers of the Eternal Flame used to be Alex from the PAL Genetic Research Unit
One of Victor's diary entries describe a lab member by the name of Alex who went missing after Shadowbeak's creation. Meanwhile there's a faction leader with a nearly-identical name with only one diary entry, one that doesn't even reveal anything about his past. A villager near the volcano remarks on the Brotherhood's High Priest changing very recently, suggesting someone just came in and took over. Furthermore Axel really doesn't fit in with the faction with his purple clothes and Electric-type Pal, so he probably wasn't an internal promotion.

Marcus Dryden is Zoe Rayne's father
One of Zoe's diary entries mentions how her father disappeared a long time ago and nobody knows where he is. Well, there is one older male on the island, a fellow Tower Guardian even, who certainly has the intelligence, charisma, and criminality to have led the Rayne Syndicate - Marcus Dryden. Marcus's own journal shows he holds nothing but contempt for people other than himself, explaining why he'd abandon Zoe and insult the Syndicate he used to lead, and his love of money would explain both why he was a member of the Syndicate and why he left it. He was making money poaching, but he found a way to make a lot more of it and a much safer place to hide while doing it, inside the police force itself, where his natural leadership qualities and Engineered Heroics would shoot him up the ranks. Design-wise, both of them incorporate a black zig-zag pattern, with Zoe having a very wide, chaotic one across the front of her top and Marcus having a thin, orderly one on his scarf, and they both dye part of their hair, with Zoe's black contrasting her natural pink and Marcus adding blonde streaks to his brown hair.

There will be a story added to the final version.
There isn’t much of an explanation for the protagonist’s arrival at the Palapagos Islands or even what their motivation is for going up against the Tower bosses. One can assume that their motivation against the Rayne Syndicate is because they’re killing Pals and people for no reason and their motives against Free Pals Alliance is because of their hypocrisy in harming Pals despite their group’s belief that Pals should be protected and not be captured.

Additional music will be added to the game.
The game has limited music as of now aside from the battle music and some cutscenes. Perhaps there will be some music for each area and settlement.

More game modes
Player Versus Player modes are being added to the game in the future. With Battle Royale Games being some of the most popular in Japan, PocketPair could add some Battle Royale modes.
  • What about adding the cliche Zombie Apocalypse game mode where your and your Pals fight hordes of zombies? Even better, Imperial Japanese zombies with Arisaka Rifles and gunto swords hunting down your Pals.
  • Uncensored "Z" mode where you can disable Bloodless Carnage by having Bloodier and Gorier imagery. That would kick console versions of Palworld to CERO-Z (Japanese M-rating with Adults-Only restrictions).

Catching a Tower boss will become an Ascended Glitch.
Right now, you might get lucky in exploiting a glitch where you catch a Pal alongside their human rider. In future, the game will allow you to do this, and catch a Palman. Throwing the Palsphere will cause the two to merge together into a genderless monster fusion.

Syndicate Crushers are humans who have been enhanced by the PAL Genetic Research Unit
They're larger than any other human in the game and they can easily wield a minigun similar to what Grizzbolt carries. Given the strength required to wield such a weapon, it's likely they're Rayne Syndicate thugs who've been enhanced.
  • By dint of their size as well, Black Marketeers are retired Crushers, having learned enough about how the Pal trade works in order to keep a steady paycheck through other illicit means.

The Nature Reserves are part of the same Lost Technology you often find on the island
The actual, non-dirt structures of the reserves seem to be part of a greater whole, especially with those submerged parts that seem to radiate from the "back" of the island where the metal is thickest. The stuff looks more like something out of Subnautica's alien facilities than anything the local humans are making (though that may just be artstyle dissonance from the developers' prodigious Unreal asset usage). It is very possible the PIDF just found these things and decided to take control of them immediately rather than let any of the other factions risk playing around with technology they didn't understand (or worse, perfectly understand, considering the things the Genetic Research Unit already does) and things just devolved from there.

Befriending wild Pals
In future you will be able to tame and catch Pals you’ve been kind to and fed. This would take a TON of food though. Once they start following you, you can throw a Sphere for a 100% capture rate. You may ask, why? Why pick this very long route and not battle until weakened and use a Pal Sphere? Because wild befriended Pals may have additional rare stats. A loyalty perk which means they will never revolt or disobey you, and even rarer a Heroic Second Wind skill, where if the Pal faints, it loves you too much to quit, and will recover 1/3 of its health to continue battling against the enemy.

Two legendary Pals are responsible for the fog and red barrier
They keep the Palpagos islands safe and created the fog and red barrier to keep Pals and Humans inside their domain.

Victor Ashford was the Castaway.
The Castaway was clearly both a genius and someone of a scientific mind, as they were able to locate the Palpagos Islands through nothing more than logic and intuition, a theory they then decided to test personally. Once they got stranded they survived easily, discovered many new principles and ways of living, and adapted to the island easily. They came to be fascinated by Pals and their significance, but also began to grow detached and sociopathic over time, eventually justifying killing both Pals and people to serve their purposes. It got easier and as survival became no longer a concern they dedicated their attention to figuring out the island's mysteries, founding the PAL Genetic Research Unit, moving to an island where they would be left alone, claiming an abandoned or empty tower as their base, and abandoning all ethics and morality in the pursuit of the answers they sought. It's also worth noting that Victor's island is the only major island where the Castaway left no journal entries, indicating they either never went there or they went there and stayed.

The giant skeletons scattered around the Palapagos Islands's seas and beaches were prehistoric Gobfin
Gobfin's Paldeck entry mentions that the species used to be large and powerful aquatic pals, before being forced to move onto land due to food scarcity, and adapt to a smaller size thanks to the much greater energy requirements they needed to walk. Those skeletal remains were Gobfin's ancestors that failed to adapt and died out near the shores.

Victor Ashford killed his lab assistant Alex and used him to make Shadowbeak or turned Alex into Shadowbeak
One of his logs mentions that his lab assistant went missing after he had perfected Shadowbeak. He mentions the disappearance as "concerning" but it's just to throw suspicion off anyone else who reads the logs. In addition, notice how none of his previous (failed) experiments coincided with the disappearance of a human.

Tocotoco and Pengullet are distantly related or were the products of convergent evolution
Since Tocotoco fire eggs that explode on impact and Pengullet explode on a sufficiently hard impact (like say, striking a solid object when fired out of a rocket launcher), this suggests that they both produce impact-sensitive explosive compounds in their bodies. This could have been selected for via similar evolutionary pressures or that they shared a now extinct common ancestor that produced impact-sensitive explosive compounds.

The wars/battles in the past might be expanded on
Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst's Paldeck entries mention that their bones were used to make flutes that signaled war vanguards and war victories respectively. This means the ancient civilization that disappeared and left behind ruins/structures had battles and wars of their own. We don't know what happened in those ancient wars, but Pals were likely involved. Perhaps this was a time where Robinquill Terra were used as archers alongside humans.

There were TWO precursor civilizations on the island, not just one
There are two types of ruins on the Palpagos island: The 'old castle' type ruins that resemble european medieval keeps and castles, and the more 'sci-fi black rectangle' type ruins and the towers. They are in sharp contrast with each other, so it's plausible that there were two separate precursors occupying them, either at the same time or separately.
  • If they did exist at the same time, this could also explain the wars in the past mentioned in both Vanwyrms' Paldeck entries.

Wildlife Sanctuaries were once ancient labs
The 3 barren wildlife sanctuaries are not natural. They're leftover remnants of some precursor civilization, and contain exclusive pals. Perhaps they were ancient labratories of some sort back in their day (some sort of ancient itteration of the PGRU,) which explains both the pals and the flowers?

Victor didn't invent Shadowbeak, he only accidentally rediscovered them.
He created a shadowbeak, and his logs say that he wasn't able to replicate the result. And yet there are shadowbeaks running around the northeast Wildlife Sanctuary. Given the above about the WS's being ancient labs, shadowbeak's paldeck entry is still accurate in this case, only that it was the ancient precursors that made the first shadowbeaks, which means that Victor only managed to somehow stumble upon the method used to create them somehow.
