  • There's an option to pet your Pals. Each of them has a unique animation when you pet them and they look so happy to receive your affection.note
    • Depresso in particular is especially cute when you pet it. At first it seems adverse to it, but later seeing the grumpy little guy smiling happily for a change will do that.
    • Petallia's petting animation also gets extra cute points; instead of petting, you hold hands with it.
    • Anubis gets borderline Adorkable when pet, almost looking puzzled when you pet it. It's like it doesn't quite understand the concept of affection, but cannot deny it's a good feeling.
    • Chillet looks like it's really enjoying being pet.
    • Gobfin bashfully covers its face while being pet, but its wagging tail gives away the fact that it's enjoying the attention.
    • Shadowbeak hugs the player with its wings before letting out a happy screech.
  • According to the Paldeck, some Pals have genuinely friendly interactions with each other:
    • Depresso, despite its perpetually grumpy looks, is actually a kindhearted Pal who is known to feed Vixy who have strayed from their pack.
    • Sibelyx will let Foxparks take shelter under their Stylish Sunhats during a rainy day, so the Foxparks' tail fires won't go out.
  • While you are technically catching and enslaving your Pals, you can give them some nice perks that come with them being deployed to your base. You can, eventually, give them some nicer beds to sleep on, and you can install hot springs for them to relax in.
  • Before beginning your battle against Lily, she has a small moment where she happily nuzzles her Lyleen's head.
  • If any of your Pals is incapacitated at your base, your other Pals can carry them to bed to help them regain health.
  • As gameplay footage and trailers exemplify your base expanding, showing various diverse Pals all running around it. Happily playing, working, fighting and living together. You the player did this. Through hard work and persistence, you made a community, a town of monsters. Creatures that once ran wild and hungry. Foraging and hunting for anything to eat as they struggled to make it out on the islands' extreme hostile environments. The Pals are no longer surviving, they are now thriving.
  • Blazehowl's Paldeck entry mentions that it loves raw meat but always ends up eating cooked meat due to its scorching claws cooking its kills. The same goes for Blazehowl Noct ending up eating tainted meat due to their cursed claws. By catching them, you can finally give them both the raw, untainted meat they so longed for but were unable to get.
  • A recent update allows players to instruct their Pals to take a relaxed pace while working on their bases. Now, if you feel like you have enough resources and want to give your Pals an easier way to work, you can.
  • It's just heartwarming to think about the developers in general, and how much Troubled Production the game went through; only for it to become a massive success for PocketPair. After two weeks since release, the game achieved a total of 19 million players worldwide.
  • There are some very adorable animation quirks to be found if you look for them. For instance, if a Katress is working directly behind the player on a crafting bench, it'll look like the cat witch is patting the player on the head.
  • While the Paldeck promotional videos that show off each Pal in action usually tend to end in picking on weaker pals for fun, Orserk's has a rather happy and heartwarming ending; seeing it electrifying a generator to power some lights to keep a scared Cattiva and Lifmunk out of the dark.
