- Attention Deficit Creator Disorder: Yuri has said multiple times that he gets sidetracked from working on videos due to working on other videos... which in turn, he may ditch to work on other videos. This tweet sums it up nicely:Yuri: Oh, I cancelled the Kamen Rider video in favor of making a Kamen Rider video about a different game. Third time now.
- Creator Backlash:
- The original Gaming Mysteries: Super Mario 64 Beta (N64), because, in his own words, "it was about 3 minutes long and I made like 1 point." So at the end of 2013, he posted Gaming Mysteries: Super Mario 64 Beta Redux (N64).Yuri: And it's a redux because I did a version of this in 2010, but that was crap. So let's try this again :3.
- It's the same story with Gaming Mysteries: Kirby Adventure Redux (GCN / Wii) Cancelled, which is a remake of Gaming Mysteries: Kirby Adventure (GCN / Wii) UNRELEASED.Yuri: Plus I finally get to remake my video that I hate :D.
- Resident Evil 4 also got a Gaming Mysteries redux, more than 5 years after the original video.Yuri: Today on Gaming Mysteries we'll be taking another look at the beta of Resident Evil 4, because my last video of this is years old and sucks.
- The original Gaming Mysteries: Super Mario 64 Beta (N64), because, in his own words, "it was about 3 minutes long and I made like 1 point." So at the end of 2013, he posted Gaming Mysteries: Super Mario 64 Beta Redux (N64).
- Development Hell:
- Currently, there's a Half-Life 2 video that has been teased sometimes, "sometimes" meaning "a few years ago".
- He's mentioned a segment simply titled "Upcoming Segment" in the past, but it was never made and what it was planned to be is unknown.
- Referenced by...: Trollpasta Wiki has a category dedicated to creepypastas Yuri has read on Bullshit Creepypasta Storytime.
- Saved from Development Hell
- Occurred with the Conker's Bad Fur Day Gaming Mysteries, released on 6/27/14, but originally brought up in a Banjo-Kazooie Gaming Mysteries from 12/28/12.
- Gundam finally got a video, one that's been teased for years, on July 17, 2015.
- Sequel Gap: In the Resident Evil 4 LP, there was a ten month gap between the upload of this episode and the upload of this episode, because Yuri kept forgetting to upload it. The second episode lampshades it with onscreen text.
- Schedule Slip: Frequently zig-zagged. By Yuri's own admission, he has a weak immune system and gets sick a lot. This means that there will be some instances of videos being uploaded months apart and such. Occasionally, his fans think he's dead. Yuri can easily go from uploading one video in the span of a month to uploading 3 videos in the span of a week. Here's a few examples of upload gaps in his LPs.
- Corpse Party Let's Play:
- Persona 3 FES Let's Play:
- Resident Evil 4 Let's Play:
- Part 5: November 18, 2012. Part 6: January 2, 2013. Part 7: January 23, 2013.
- Part 8: January 31, 2013. Part 9: March 30, 2013. Part 10: May 22, 2013. Part 11: June 13, 2013.
- Part 12: July 2, 2013. Part 13: October 1, 2013.
- Part 17: October 13, 2013. Part 18: August 25, 2014. Part 19: October 16, 2014.
- Part 22: October 23, 2014. Part 23: November 18, 2014.
- Pokémon Yellow Let's Play:
- In addition to the above, there have been non-Let's Play videos Yuri has promised to make, and some of them have not been released. Most infamously, Yuri's Gundam video which he occasionally mentioned was being worked on every so often, until he finally finished and uploaded it in July 2015.Yuri: I often get asked where Gundam is. Here it is, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs for the PS3 :3.
- Gaming Mysteries isn't safe from this either, as there have been two noteworthy games Andrew has said he was working on for a video on said segment, but only one has actually been uploaded; Conker's Bad Fur Day (which he actually lampshaded in the Conker video itself as being delayed, due to him hinting in his Banjo-Kazooie video from years before to make a video for Conker) and one on Half-Life, which so far has not been released nor has been mentioned by Yuri in some time, pretty much becoming Vapor Ware... how fitting for the Half-Life series itself in hindsight.
- Wanna watch a Youtuber who uploads his Halloween special 5 days before Christmas? Yuri is your go-to guy. He lampshaded it in the Facebook post that announced its upload: "Happy Halloween Christmas".
- Similarly Named Works: Gaming Mysteries: Sonic X-treme (Saturn) UNRELEASED and Gaming Mysteries: Sonic The Hedgehog Extreme (Xbox) UNRELEASED. The former was a 3D Sonic platforming game for the Saturn that never came to light, and the latter is a 3D Sonic hover-skateboarding game that never got past alpha.
- Vaporware: There are currently two cases of Yuri teasing videos for one of his series, but releasing nothing:
- One of Andrew's earliest Let's Plays was .hack//Infection, which started in mid-2013 and lay dormant until mid-2017.
- As mentioned above in Schedule Slip, Yuri has teased on working on an Obscure Gaming for Half-Life... and so far there is no Half-Life, nor a mention on it in some time.
- Subverted with the Gundam video, which got teased a lot over the years, but eventually was finally released during the summer of 2015.
