• Anime First: An original anime project. While a manga written by Ikuhara and illustrated by Akiko Morishima did begin before the anime aired, the manga's story is very different from the anime and some of the characters have different personalities.
• What Could Have Been: The Life Judgement Guys were originally planned to have Ambiguous Genders. The early plans for them was that they would be visually female but with male voice actors, and the novel never uses gendered phrasings to describe them. In the anime, it isn't clear whether they're still meant to be genderless, but they're at least designed to look and sound male, and they seem flat-out male in the manga.
