- Life Imitates Art: In the Jack Reacher script, Jai Courtney worries about being typecast as "a youthful presence to offset aging action stars past their prime" because he's starring opposite Tom Cruise (and also Bruce Willis in A Good Day to Die Hard). Arnold Schwarzenegger then shows up asking Jai to call him. It was later revealed that Jai was cast as Kyle Reese in Terminator Genisys, in which Schwarzenegger is reprising his iconic role.
- Milestone Celebration: The Editing Room's 20th anniversary saw some of 1998's most famous or infamous movies finally receive their own Abridged Scripts. Among others, You've Got Mail completed the staff's efforts to produce at least one script for each letter of the alphabet. For the 25th anniversary the site took reader requests, and also posted an expanded re-abridgment of the very first movie ever satirized on the site, Godzilla (1998).
