- Actor Allusion: Dave Filoni once again voices a C1-series astromech.
- Meaningful Release Date: This episode was released on May 1, 2020, which the same numbers as the 501st Legion.
- Never Trust a Trailer: The release trailer made it seem like Ahsoka and Rex were working together to survive Order 66, with Ahsoka defending Rex while slamming the doors shut. He's actively trying to kill her for most of the episode.
- The Original Darrin:
- After being voiced by Ian Abercrombie and then Tim Curry throughout The Clone Wars, Ian McDiarmid is back to voicing Darth Sidious in this episode through archival audio from Revenge of the Sith. This episode marks the second time that the series has used audio from the Star Wars films since "Ghosts of Mortis".
- The same is done with Silas Carson, Hayden Christensen, and Samuel L. Jackson as Ki-Adi-Mundi, Anakin, and Mace Windu respectively, though Terrence C. Carson still plays Mace elsewhere in the episode, and Anakin's final line in the show, "What have I done?", is clearly provided by Matt Lanter.
- Voice-Only Cameo: As mentioned above, the episode uses audio from Revenge of the Sith for Anakin, Mace and Palpatine after the fateful duel in the Chancellor's Office.
