• Actor Allusion: Upon being kicked out of the sorority, Teddy (Zac Efron) laments that he thought they were all in this together.
• Deleted Scene: The DVD has an alternate opening that shows how Delta Psi's old house got destroyed and why they had to move next to the Radners.
• Dueling-Stars Movie: The advertising◊ has been "Seth Rogen (and Rose Byrne) vs. Zac Efron".
• Fake Nationality: Averted by Rose Byrne for once although In-Universe her character does put on a Fake American accent to record a mesage as Anne Hathaway as part of the plan for the party.
• Market-Based Title: The movies are known as “Bad Neighbours” in the UK, due to Neighbours already being the name of a popular soap opera.
• Missing Trailer Scene: The trailer prominently featured a scene of Seth Rogen's character sitting down on a toilet, and promptly falling through the floor. This sequence didn't make the final cut of the film.
• Throw It In!: Stella turning her head to watch Mac and Kelly go at it, even after Mac turned her chair to face the wall, was of the baby's own doing and was too funny to not throw in (you can hear both Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne corpsing when she turns to look at them).
