Following the incident with the Scarecrow stealing Horror's Hand, it was agreed that the SCP Foundation would better be able to safeguard the Hand. Grim agreed to relinquish it, warning them however that Horror's Hand will continue to conjure people's fears while it is on until someone can face their fears and claim it. The SCP Foundation decided to conduct several tests on the hand, using it to find out the people's fears and whether or not they will be able to successfully claim it. People may face their fears as many times as it take, even if they don't succeed on the first try.
Fears can be classified in some of the following ways:

| Unlike a boggart, which takes the form of a single Dementor, Horror's Hand conjures up a swarm of Dementors for Harry to face. Harry has enough experience to repel them all with the Patronus Charm. | |
