• The Mermaid Chronicles: In Quest for Atlantis, Trent tells Cordelia that she looks like Pippi Longstocking.

• The Family Ties episode "My Best Friend's Girl" has a character named Pippi because her parents were Pippi Longstocking fans.

• In 2015, a children's song based on the book series called "Hej Pippi Langstrump" ("Hey Pippi Longsocking") was released in Poland. The song was performed by Ewa Złotowska (best-known as the official Polish voice Maya the Bee).

• In Daria episode "Pinch Sitter", Daria is spending the evening babysitting two children who she "allows" to redo her hair, and they end up giving her braided pigtails with four pink bow-tied ribbons. Jane greets her at the door with an enthusiastic, "All hail, Pippi Longstocking."
• In one episode of "Pinky and the Brain'', Pinky's response to the Brain's Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering? is "I think so, Brain, but me and Pippi Longstocking? I mean, what would the children look like?" In yet another episode, his response is "... but what would Pippi Longstocking look like with her hair straight?"
• South Park: In "Pinkeye", one of the names Cartman calls Stan to mock the latter's Raggedy Andy costume is "Pippi Longstocking".
