The Titans' Halloween party is interrupted by the HIVE robbing a candy factory, and after the battle hits a major shift, very strange things start happening around H.I.V.E. Tower.

Tropes:

• The Bad Guy Wins: Not only is the HIVE successful in blowing up the candy factory, they also finally destroy the Titans. Unfortunately, the latter was all part of Robin’s plan to ruin their night and they come to regret their success.
• Demonic Possession: Raven and Starfire possess See-More and Mammoth and play around acting like a couple of “bros.”
• Ectoplasm: Beast Boy and Cyborg slime Gizmo and Billy Numerous with their ectoplasm.
  Beast Boy & Cyborg: Get that good slime all over your face!
• Everything Makes a Mushroom: The candy factory makes one when the HIVE blows it up. It’s then reflected in all of the Titans’ eyes as they scream a Big "NO!".
• Evil Laugh: After he successfully scares Jinx, Robin does one awkwardly in the elevator alone.
• Faux Horrific: Robin’s idea of terrorizing Jinx is trapping her in an elevator with his awkward small talk and his coffee breath. It works.
• Fog Feet: The Titans’ have these in their ghost forms.
• Halloween Episode: When the HIVE ruins their Halloween celebration, the Titans get their revenge.
• Monster Mash: In the parody of the song of the same name, Raven plays a raven, Robin plays a Mad Scientist, Gizmo plays The Igor, Mammoth plays Frankenstein's Monster, and the rest of the group plays an angry mob.
• Musical Pastiche: The titular “Scary Figure Dance” song is a reference to Bobby "Boris" Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers’ “Monster Mash.”
• Near-Death Experience: The Titans die when they’re hit with the HIVE’s Death Ray, but are brought back to life at the end of the episode. This is despite the fact that their bodies disappeared after they were hit and that they spent the whole night as ghosts.
• Nightmare Face: All of the Titans do one when Mammoth accuses them of not being very scary.
• Operation: [Blank]: Robin’s “Operation: Halloween” which involves the Titans decorating the Tower for Halloween.
• Shout-Out:
  • See-More and Billy Numerous are shown to be watching Nosferatu.
  • Jinx’s Halloween costume is similar to Pebbles from The Flintstones.
  • When See-More says he's going to call "those guys who are good at busting ghosts", he's making a reference to Ghostbusters. A Musical Pastiche of their theme song even plays when he tries to call them.
  • The music playing during Jinx’s seance sounds like the Halloween theme.
• Spooky Séance: Jinx holds one with the rest of the HIVE to find out what the ghosts haunting them want.
• Surprisingly Happy Ending: The HIVE brings the Titans back to life to stop their annoying haunting and they find that both groups ended up having a fun night. The HIVE had a good time being scared and the Titans enjoyed being ghosts.
• Wolves Always Howl at the Moon: The episode begins with a silhouette of a realistic-looking wolf howling against the backdrop of a full moon. It’s then revealed to be Robin in a werewolf costume.
