Jeramie: Due to... various and sundry circumstances... that I will omit for time, Rita succeeds in reclaiming Gokkan.
Our next destination is N'Kosopa, whose past attempt at liberation had ended in failure.
However, it seems that Yanma had a secret plan up his sleeve...

During Rita's idol infiltration, Yanma decided to attain his ultra computer to take back his country. This time though, he's enlisting the team to help him enact a very "special plan" to drive out the Jesters and unleash new powers!

Just what will they unleash?

Tropes

  • Bait-and-Switch:
    • Just when it looks like Hilbil is about to destroy the real supercomputer, Yanma puts his hand over his face as if to lament his loss. However, it turns out to be another fake and he starts laughing. Turns out the kings were ALL acting as decoys with fake supercomputers while Shiokara had already long installed the real thing.
    • Just as Hilbil finds herself cornered by the six monarchs, she then calls for someone to help her, with Goma getting himself destroyed by the King-Ohgers in her stead. It, in of itself, was a bait and switch given that Goma was more than willing to write her off, only to end up taking her place unwillingly.
  • Big Damn Heroes: As soon as it's revealed that all of the kings had decoy supercomputers, Shiokara comes charging with God Tombo to disengage the OhgerCalibur's hidden lock from the Peta Castle, granting the team access to the OhgerCalibur's enhanced abilities.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Emphasis on the Sweet. The heroes score a major victory against the other Jesters: Not only do they destroy one of them outright but N'Kosopa is liberated in the process with a brand-new supercomputer; restoring much of Tikyu's infrastructure in the process. However, they didn't destroy the Jester they were aiming for and Racules has succeeded in yet another power-grab.
  • The Bus Came Back: Racules came back after his return in #34 and #35.
  • Chekhov's Gun:
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: Once the monarchs power-up, they manage to put the Jesters on the ropes, but they still put up an impressive fight nonetheless.
  • Exact Words: Yanma tells Hilbil that he'd consider letting her go if he dispels her compulsion on his people. After she does, she then demands the King-Ohgers to stick to their word, but Yanma points out that he'd only consider it, not actually do it.
  • Explosive Overclocking: This is what the Hyouga Issen power-up essentially does. It massively powers up its users by allowing them to channel more of their respective Shugods' energies, but it comes at the cost of either injuring or even killing them.
  • Fight Scene: The bulk of the run time is dedicated to the monarchs doing combat with The Jesters, outside of the initial team-huddle and cutaways to Dagded.
  • Fist Bump: After the battle with the Jesters, the exhausted monarchs indulge in a six-man fist bump before promptly collapsing of strain. It's this recap's Page Image!
  • Heroic Rematch: The episode is essentially a re-do of the last attempt to liberate N'Kosopa, but with the entire team this time.
  • Human Doorstop: When Racules bows down to Dagded, the latter disrespectfully uses his shoulder as a footrest.
  • Humans Are the Real Monsters: This episode further shows just how Racules, the only human ally to the Galactinsects, can stoop to any low to get what he wants. The fact that he set up Goma to die made Dagded absolutely furious.
  • Hypocrite: Dagded blames the Jesters' screwing around for their constant losses at the hands of the heroes, yet the primary reason Dagded's letting all this go on is because he finds it fun.
  • Just Toying with Them: Discussed. Yanma acknowledges that they've only gotten this far because the Jesters are slacking off and treating the conquest of Tikyū like a game. It would only take one bad day for them to get serious and smash the planet outright.
  • Killed Off for Real: Goma is the first of the Jesters to meet his end.
  • Klingon Promotion: Racules cuts a deal with Kaguragi to have one of the Jesters meet their end so that he could nominate himself as the replacement. He succeeds.
  • Let No Crisis Go to Waste: Dagded is clearly not happy that Goma has been destroyed, but he acknowledges Racules' cunning and names him a Jester like he wanted instead of sulking.
  • Lightning Can Do Anything: Shiokara disables the lightning protection on Peta Castle in order to use it as a lightning rod to power up the Shugods, helping unlock their true power.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Invoked. Yanma tells the monarchs that only one of their computer copies is real, to ensure they all try their best. Everybody's copy is fake and Yanma kept himself unaware of where the true one went, fully expecting the Jesters to have been listening in. That's exactly what happens, allowing the holder of the actual supercomputer (It was Shiokara) to install it without fail.
  • Post-Victory Collapse: The strain of using their upgraded forms causes the team to do this after Goma is defeated.
  • Properly Paranoid: Yanma tells the monarchs that only one of their portable supercomputers is real, which Rita assumes is to assure they try their hardest. That's a lie too; not only were they all fakes, but Yanma had no idea who possessed the genuine article. It's a good thing he did that: The Jesters were onto the monarchs from the moment they arrived.
  • The Reveal:
    • Yanma implies that Dagded had a hand in the creation of the OhgerCaliber ZERO, the Ohger CrownLance and Jeramie's KumonoSlayer.
Yanma: It was made over 2,000 years ago. Not the kinda thing humans can cook up...Same goes for Gira's lance and Jeramie's sword...I think the Galactinsect King is a part of it.
    • Near the end of the episode, it's revealed that Racules, with Kaguragi and Hilbil's assistance, masterminded Goma's death in order to become a Jester himself. Dagded is impressed by what's he done, but he's clearly angered by the results.
  • Tranquil Fury: While he doesn't outright show his anger at having lost Goma in his usual manner, he displays it by using Racules as a human footstool, especially once he figures out he was behind Goma's death.
  • Unspoken Plan Guarantee:
    • While Yanma tells most of The Plan to the team on-screen, the most important part of it (that the computers they all carried were fake and that Shiokara had the real one) was left unrevealed until it's fully executed.
    • Racules' plan to have one of the Jesters killed outright works, and it's only revealed in the episode's final scene.
  • Villain No Longer Idle: Invoked. Dagded has a massive tantrum at the start of the episode, expressing annoyance at the Jesters' constant failures against the "specks" of Tikyu; ordering them all to get their act together and destroy the monarchs.
