Narrator: After 2,000 years of slumber, the Bognaarok have awakened from the depths of the earth.
The five kingdoms intended to band together in order to counter this threat. However, the king of N'Kosopa, Yanma Gast, rejected the offer of alliance, leading to mankind facing a grave crisis.
How frightening...
As all this was happening, Gira, upon witnessing the treachery of his king, rose up and proclaimed himself the "King of Evil", as well as declaring his intent to dethrone Racules!
...Or so the story goes.

Having become Kuwagata Ohger with the OhgerCalibur he took from Racules, Gira is now branded a traitor and marked for death by Shugoddam, with the king's forces sent after him for his betrayal. Intrigued by his antics, the king of N'Kosopa, Yanma Gast, decides to take him into his kingdom to figure out who he is.

Gira tries to convince Yanma to join his cause against Racules, but Yanma isn't convinced by his hammy flaunting. Just when the kingdom is attacked by the Bognaarok, Racules announces that N'Kosopa has been cut off from the Quintet Alliance due to Yanma's actions at the signing ceremony and harboring Gira. He demands that the president bow his head and apologize for his actions, lest he face the wrath of Shugoddam...

Tropes

  • Badass Boast: Yanma effectively tells Racules to sod off after defying his requests to apologize. This speech allows him to regain the respect of his people, as well as Gira's.
Yanma: I don't flatter or suck up to anybody. No matter who I'm dealing with, my guts and brains will be enough to break through. That's how the president of N'Kosopa, Yanma Gast rolls. (towards N'Kosopa's citizens) Guys, I get it. But shut up and follow my lead. Because nobody is gonna beat me!
  • Bait-and-Switch: After seeing the residents of N'Kosopa bawling at their king's giant middle finger to Racules, Gira calls out Yanma for putting his kingdom in jeopardy of being eliminated by Racules' forces, only to learn they're crying in support of his defiance to Racules, leaving him gobsmacked.
  • Book Ends: The episode begins and ends with someone getting whisked away via Shugod.
  • Cliffhanger: Played for Laughs. The ending of the episode sees Gira and Yanma suddenly taken by God Kamikiri to Ishabana, with a Big "WHAT?!" following from the both of them.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: Despite N'Kosopa's citizens holding their ground, it is clear as day that Yanma is a far superior hacker, easily blowing up all of their screens within seconds.
  • Dueling Hackers: N'Kosopa's citizens all challenge Yanma to a computer hacking contest when they learn he is harboring Gira. One kid tells Gira that hacking competitions is how disputes are settled in the kingdom.
  • Everybody Cries: The entire populace of N'Kosopa cries tears of joy at Yanma's defiance of Racules' demands.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Played for Laughs. The citizens of N'Kosopa take immediate issue with Yanma harboring Gira. Their response? Have a hacking battle with their king over it, of course!
"We might be punks, man, but we don't roll with criminals!"
  • Fish out of Water: Gira, who hails from a medieval-Steampunk society, is completely blown away by N'Kosopa.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: The sponsor credits for the On the Next episode preview shows Racules with what looks like a gold OhgerCalibur with only a Kuwagata switch.
  • Good Cop/Bad Cop: Dethnaarok and Kamejim pull off this dynamic when demanding that the King-Ohgers turn over the Shugods. Dethnaarok is blunt and direct, Kamejim is polite and affable.
  • I Surrender, Suckers: Yanma goes through the effort of calling Racules' advisors to N'Kosopa and televising what's supposed to be a public apology...only to tell them off and re-affirm his stance against Shugoddam's king.
  • Malaproper: Gira accidentally says "Unkosoba"note  in his awe towards the kingdom. Yanma aggressively chews him out for this.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Gira calls out Yanma on his apparent callousness towards his people and compares him to Racules by refusing to surrender to him and save the people of N'Kosopa. An irked Yanma then spends the rest of the episode proving why Gira's accusation holds little merit.
  • Oh, Crap!: Yanma says this after realizing that he's led King-Ohger right towards Bodarujim's blast.
  • One-Hit Polykill: Yanma demolishes the entire crowd's laptops in one go.
  • Out of Focus: Rita and Kaguragi are not seen at all this episode, with Himeno only making a cameo via God Kamakiri.
  • Running Gag: Yanma's go-to insult is "slack-jawed tanuki" (or "raccoon brains," depending on which sub you're watching).
  • Say My Name: Gira's reaction upon seeing Racules take his friends hostage.
  • Tempting Fate: After the Bognaarok attack, two citizens ponder the damage. One of them expects the Quintet Alliance to help with clean up. A second later, Racules broadcasts to N'Kosopa that they've kicked out of it.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Gira accuses Yanma of viewing his people similar to Racules, despite actively loathing the king. Subverted, in that Gira's accusation is completely wrong and Yanma is The Good King.
