Go To

The city of Angel Grove is polluted and overcome by trash; thus the Rangers come together and organize a clean-up club in order to help clean up the city and recycle. Rita Repulsa decides to end the Rangers' plight and releases the Polluticorn. Jason uses the Dragon Shield for the last time in defeating this mythical terror.

Tropes

  • Behemoth Battle: Dino Megazord vs. Polluticorn.
  • Between My Legs: A beaten Jason is between Polluticorn's legs.
  • Deus ex Machina: The tire that trips up Bulk and sends him crashing into the recyclables just comes straight out of nowhere as if to say “Bulk, stop pushing your luck!”
  • Epic Fail: Skull's editing makes his and Bulk's project nothing but an embarrassing, if not entertaining, romp of the duo bumbling around on camera.
  • Fangs Are Evil: Polluticorn
  • Funny Bruce Lee Noises: While crushing some empty cans at the Juice Bar, Jason and Zack entertain themselves by making these.
  • Hellish Horse: Polluticorn is an anthropomorphic unicorn monster that intends to cover the world in pollution.
  • Make My Monster Grow: Done by Rita to Polluticorn.
  • Monster of the Week: Polluticorn.
  • Misplaced Wildlife: The deer in Trini's video is a Japanese serow, as in can only be found in Japan, not California where the show takes place. This can be blamed on the footage being lifted from Zyuranger.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: To make the Green Aesop look cool to the kids, the episode has the five Rangers doing stylish moves while cleaning up the garbage-ridden park.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Bulk is barely able to contain himself after the tire accident, though he manages to keep his head, while crushing a soda can, only to faint shortly afterward.
  • Self-Deprecation: The way Skull edited the video makes Bulk look like he has “no class” when he actually said, “I have always enjoyed this notable class.”
    • Also, his passive-aggressive "I think everything should be recycled" became "I think I should be recycled" in Skull's final edit.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: While this is nothing new for Bulk, calling his project “The World's Greatest Guy” and trying to pass himself off as an ace of sorts is just pushing it.
  • Vanity Project: See the above pertaining to Bulk and Skull.
