He'll never hide his dramatic tendencies. He can't, he's too shiny!
Setchan: Previously on… Zenkaiger!
Stacy turned out to be a hired muscle sent by the Tozitend!
He controls fake Super Sentai and giant robots, and is sending them after the Zenkaigers!

Things seem to get more and more complicated the more mecha Stacy summons. To celebrate his son's debut, Barashitara sends out Door Wald, a Wald who can transport people into different places at moment's notice. Every single door leads to another location and there seems to be no way out...

Tropes

  • Artifact Title: Despite the episode title, Door Wald's Portal Door doesn't actually transport his victims to other parallel worlds.
  • Bait-and-Switch:
    • Vroon was seemingly teleported to an actual parallel world through a Portal Door... until a zoom-out reveals he only ended up in the middle of a green screen filming set.
    • Zocks calls the attention of the team, which makes them understandably tense. After a moment, he simply asks what's their deal. The team asks him the same question in exasperation.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • The Kikanoid Zenkaigers come in the nick of time in their giant forms when Kaito's about to beaten by the fake Maskman and Fiveman.
    • Zocks makes his grand debut here, easily beating Stacy and destroying his Dark Gears for not being the Tojiru Gears he was after.
  • Conservation of Ninjutsu: Zig-zagged. While the mechs summoned by the Geartozinger aren't any less effective in numbers, they also happen to exhaust its power, making their presence short-lived.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: As is tradition with many a Sixth Ranger, Zocks easily beats Stacy and destroys some of his Dark Gears.
  • Curb-Stomp Cushion: While obviously outnumbered by the Maskman and Fiveman teams, Kaito still manages to hold his own against them before the rest of the team shows up.
  • Dynamic Entry: Zocks uses his battleship CrocoDaiOh to destroy the two fake mechas before dropping in to the battlefield, singing and dancing to a sea shanty about his intentions of getting treasure.
  • Gratuitous English: Juran says "maybe" when he's in the ryokan.
  • Internal Reveal: Barashitara reveals to the team that Stacy is his son.
  • It's Personal: Unable to comprehend Kaito's refusal to believe that his parents would abandon him and his optimism in finding them, Stacy swears to defeat him.
  • Mundane Solution: How do the Kikanoid Zenkaigers deal with the door problem? Simple: they just grew to giant size and crossed the world to Japan on foot, avoiding doors in the process.
  • Mythology Gag: Kaito utters Juru's "Hirameki~ng!" when using Sentai Gear #44 (Mashin Sentai Kiramager).
  • Phlebotinum Battery: Just as the heroes were about to be done in by the Sentai mecha from the previous episode, they all vanished. Ijirude theorizes that it was due to Stacaesar's overusing and exhausting the Geartozinger's energy. Stacaesar was not happy about this.
  • The Worf Effect: Stacaesar's debut the previous episode has him curbstomping the Zenkaigers and almost defeating them, but here he becomes at the receiving end of it from Twokaizer's debut, all within the same day.
