Archimedel: Welcome back to the second round of the Jyamato Grand Prix: the Sengoku Game.
The battle to strike down the enemy shogun Niram, and claim his treasure, the Vision Driver, rages on.
Once our enemy's Ace has been silenced in his sleep...
...victory will be upon us!

Ace manages to escape his close call from Beroba thanks to Tycoon and Na-Go, but it's clear now that his new form has the major drawback of greatly exhausting him. With the Jyamato about to launch the second half of the Sengoku Game, can Ace find a way to claim victory in his state?

Perhaps his supporter, Ziin, holds the key to it...

Tropes

  • An Aesop: It's okay to enjoy what you enjoy, as long as you learn to live your life to the fullest and not depend on it.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Ziin became a DGP supporter and a supporter of Ace in particular in order to find meaning in an empty existence. He just didn't realize it would involve getting him into a near-death experience, which gives him a big reality check.
  • Beyond the Impossible: So how do you improve on Boost Mk.II? Add Ziin's Gravity Master abilities on top of its base power, then filter it all through the imagination based power of the Laser Raise Raiser so Ace can not only use it with no drawbacks, he actually gains energy from the weapon. If the vanilla form is OP, LaserBoost is giving it admin powers...which given the current situation is actually very clever.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • Before Ace can be shot, Keiwa and Neon manage to intervene and save him.
    • After Ace collapses in the fight against Beroba, Ziin decides he had enough of standing on the sidelines and lends Ace his gear, creating LaserBoost.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: Keiwa and Neon lampshade it when they note how Niram more than held his own against the Jyamato, wondering why they even need to guard him in the first place.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • Keiwa and Neon deliver a smaller one to their Jyamato threats, Neon in particular only using Feverslot to do so.
    • Ace's first battle as LaserBoost, with him decimating Beroba using Glare2, along with her hacked Jyamato Riders.
  • Driven to Suicide: Implied to have been the case with Ace's first life, as he states that he "met his end" when he realized he would never get to see his mother again.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Obviously, Ace manages barely to survive the attempt on his life by Beroba due to Tycoon intercepting the shot.
  • Humanity Ensues: Future beings like Ziin are revealed to be essentially non-human, with their lifspans having been pre-determined from birth and their "human" forms created through the Lazer Raise Riser. His unexpected near-death experience at the hands of Beroba however, ended up teaching him the fears of human mortality, which causes him to further break into sadness over learning how Ace retaining all his Past-Life Memories meant that he had to carry the experience of having suffered multiple deaths over millenia.
  • Humiliation Conga: Beroba gets some comeuppance for her actions through the show thus far. Ziin calls her out on appearing as someone much younger, Ace curb-stomps her with LaserBoost after having been invincible for so long, and Michinaga outwits her and takes the Game Master Vision Driver for himself.
  • I'm Crying, but I Don't Know Why: After hearing Ace lament about being reincarnated multiple times, Ziin starts shedding tears, surprised that he's doing so. Ace asks if he's never seen them before, which Ziin replies he's aware of the concept.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Ace's Reincarnation is revealed to Keiwa, Neon and their respective supporters.
    • Michinaga finally meets the Goddess of Creation after taking the Vision Driver for himself.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Ace remarks that he and Ziin are one in the same when it comes to their obsession with the past, despite having their own reasons for doing so.
  • Put on a Bus: Deciding that he had enough of the past, Ziin gifts his Laser Raise Riser to Ace and departs to find his purpose elsewhere.
  • The Reveal:
    • Ace's Julius Caesar coin is actually from his first life, and it always found its way to him whenever he reincarnated.
    • Turns out Ace has no idea why he kept his memories of his past lives or why he kept being named as some form of "Ace".
    • Beroba is actually 350 years old, and she's still in high school in her timeline.
    • The Vision Driver is actually a successor to the Lazer Raise Riser.
  • The Starscream: With Beroba weakened, Michinaga wastes no time stealing the Game Master's Vision Driver right in front of her.
  • Take Up My Sword: Due to Beroba making Rule 4, Ziin uses a mild bit of Loophole Abuse, and gives Ace his Laser Raise Riser to use to make the LaserBoost form, which doesn't drain his stamina.
  • Theme Song Power Up: The second verse of "Trust・Last" plays as LaserBoost fights against Beroba and her GM Riders.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: Ace finds his constant reincarnations vexing, to the point where he wants to meet Mitsume so he can get answers as to why he keeps on reincarnating with the same name.
