Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned.

"You want to know what I am? I am a clone! A clone of the emperor of the known universe, Horde Prime. Horde Prime cloned himself, building an army to conquer all he saw. Planets, worlds, galaxies fell before us. I was his top general, but there was a defect in my cloning, and defects are worthless to Prime. I was sent to die on the front lines, but during battle, a portal opened and sent me crashing to Etheria, stranding me here. With nothing but a broken ship, I built an empire. When my portal opens, I shall bring forth my brother's armies to crush the Rebellion, and Horde Prime will see that he was wrong. I am not a defect. I am worth something."
Hordak, "Huntara"

"Imperfection is what makes scientific experimentation possible! Imperfection is beautiful... at least to me."
Entrapta, "Huntara"

"Hahaha... So, here's the thing, I've done this. The whole threatening people bit, the intimidation. I've been there, and I just don't care anymore. Some people have a bad day. I've had a bad life. If I want something, it's taken from me. If I win a fight, I lose the war. Threats only work on someone who has something to lose. But me? I’ve already lost it all. And you can't be any good at this, because you just let yourself get distracted... So, what'll it be?"
Catra, "Once Upon a Time in the Waste"

Catra: You made me this! You took everything from me! You broke the world, and it is all your fault!
[Adora remains fearful for a couple of moments, before narrowing her eyes.]
Adora: No, it's NOT! [Pushes Catra away.] I didn't make you pull the switch! I didn't make you do anything! [Throws Catra to the ground.] I didn't break the world. But I am gonna fix it. And you? You made your choice. Now LIVE WITH IT!
— "The Portal"

"Do you want to know a secret? I am a coward. I've always been the queen who stays behind. Micah was the brave one. And then Glimmer. Oh, Glimmer, so much like her father. Once again, I stayed behind, letting her make the hard choices. Letting her be brave for me. I told myself I was being responsible. But Adora, I was just scared. And then, I met you. You inspired us. You inspired me. Not because it was your destiny, but because you never let fear stop you. And now, I choose to be brave."
Queen Angella, "The Portal"

Double Trouble: I know, I know, "No one is welcome in Hordak's super-secret sanctum". Not since you let that princess in. What makes something a 'sanctum' anyway? No small talk? I thought I'd at least get a pat on the back for my daring escape. It's too bad, though. I was looking forward to meeting this Entrapta character before I left Bright Moon. But, of course, as you know, she wasn't there.
Hordak: What did you say?
Double Trouble: Oh, you don't need to keep up the charade with me. I figured out the truth. You had Catra send Entrapta to Beast Island, so She-ra would run off to rescue her. A brilliant idea! The perfect distraction. I have to applaud your work, you really had me going! So scorned by Entrapta's betrayal- even now, you look like you had no idea... Bra-vah! I mean, I did consider the alternative, that Catra's been lying to you this whole time. That she made you think that she was your partner in crime, while really she's the one who betrayed you. Aha! But, between you and me, there's no way she's that good an actor. Well, I'll leave you to it. Congrats again, great work all around.
— "Destiny, Part 1"

Adora!Double Trouble: Hey, Catra...
Catra: No. You can't do this. You can't come in and take this from me, now!
Adora!Double Trouble: Woah, I knew this would get a rise out of you, but still. You really are obsessed. Aren't you, Kitten?
Double Trouble: Hahaha... You know, it took me a while, but I finally figured out your 'character'.
Catra!Double Trouble: You try so hard to play the big, bad villain, but your heart's never been in it. Has it?
Catra: W-what do you- Stop. Stop it!
Catra!Double Trouble: People have hurt you, haven't they?
Shadow Weaver!Double Trouble: They didn't believe in you.
Hordak!Double Trouble: They didn't trust you.
Adora!Double Trouble: Didn't need you. Left you.
Double Trouble: But did you ever stop to think? Maybe, they're not the problem?
Scorpia!Double Trouble: It's you. You drive them away, Wildcat.
Catra: Why are you doing this?
Double Trouble: It's for your own good, darling. We both know this was never what you really wanted. But, it was also a good distraction. Your army was ambushed on their way to a 'defenseless' Bright Moon. Your face right now is almost better than applause. Almost.
Catra: You... betrayed me.
Double Trouble: It's not personal, darling. You knew how this worked. The best way to survive is, 'always choose the winning side'. The rebels have some kind of ancient, super weapon. Any minute now, they're going to use it, and everything you've worked for will be destroyed. I'd really better be going before that happens. And, scene.
— "Destiny, Part 2"

"I won't be controlled. I am not a piece of their machine. I am not a weapon. And I am going to end. This. NOW!"
Adora, "Destiny Part 2"

"You have given yourself a name. You tried to create an empire of your own. There was even a time you wished I would not come for you, is that so? ... You have forgotten who you are. You truly think you are worthy to stand beside me, could be equal to me? I made you in my image, but you have become an abomination. And so, you must be reborn. Take him to be reconditioned."
Horde Prime, to Hordak, "Destiny, Part 2"

"Trust that your planet will become the jewel of my empire, and it will allow me to bring peace and order to the farthest reaches of the universe. Thank you for your allegiance, child. All creatures, no matter how small, have a place in service of Horde Prime."
Horde Prime, "Destiny, Part 2"

Captured Clone: Fear not. Your friend is an honored guest of Horde Prime, emperor of the Galactic Horde, ruler of the known universe, regent of the seven skies ... She is chosen, basking in the light of Prime's favor, he who brings the day and the night... Glory be to Horde Prime, revered one of the shining galaxies, promised one of a thousand suns-
Swift Wind: Ugh. Did Hordak talk this much?
—"Horde Prime"

Mermista: Urgh, I should've known better than to trust you. You don't care about Glimmer or any of us, you only care about tech!
Entrapta: Are you all...mad at me?
Mermista: You're seriously just realizing that!? Yeah, we're mad!
Perfuma: You don't consider how your actions affect other people! Even people who are supposed to be your friends!
Frosta: Like us! The ones who were getting beat up by your dumb bots! And whose kingdoms you almost destroyed!
[Frosta and Perfuma are tearing up at this point. Entrapta looks down at the ground.]
Entrapta: I'm not good at people. But I am good at tech. I thought maybe, if I could use tech to help you, you'd...like me.
— "Launch"

Mermista: I said we have to leave! Can you listen for once in your life!?
Entrapta: I'm sorry I'm bad at listening! I'm sorry I mess everything up! But you need this signal and I'm gonna get it for you!
Mermista: ...You're still trying to get the signal?
Entrapta: Of course! Glimmer needs us!
— "Launch"

Catra: What are you doing?
Adora: If you're missing dinner, then I am too.
Catra: [Pushing Adora away, distraught.] Just go! Be with your new best friend, Lonnie!
Adora: Is that why you hit her?
Catra: I know you like her better than me! [Looking at Adora.] You're supposed to be my friend.
Adora: I am your friend, Catra. I'm always gonna be your friend.
[Catra smiles, and then nuzzles up to Adora.]
Adora: You should say sorry to Lonnie. And then we can all be friends.
[Catra's expression sours at this, and then she pushes Adora out into the corridor.]
Catra: No...I'll never say sorry to anybody, ever!
—Adora and Catra as children, "Corridors".

[Adora, Bow and Entrapta have just been contacted from Horde Prime's ship.]
Catra: Adora?
Adora: [Surprised.] Catra...?
Catra: [Amused.] You don't sound so happy to hear me. [Serious.] I'm sending Glimmer to you. I don't know your exact location, but I can get her to your quadrant. You have to be there to catch her.
Adora: Wa-wa-wa-wait, what? Wha-what's going on, Glimmer is...is with you?
[Back on Horde Prime's ship, the Horde Prime clones manage to force their way into the teleporter room.]
Catra: We don't have time. You need to get to these co-ordinates, now. Don't come here, no matter what. [Elbows one of the Prime clones in the face.] Horde Prime is ready for you! [Kicks another clone away.]
Adora: Catra, I don't understand. What is...?
Catra: [Grunts.] Just listen!
[The next shot shows Catra being restrained by two clones.]
Catra: Adora! I'm sorry! For everything!
[Catra manages to break free and activate the teleporter, sending Glimmer away. As Glimmer disappears, she stays just long enough to witness Catra get overpowered by the clones.]
—Catra making her Heel–Face Turn, "Corridors".

"It's hard keeping your heart open. It makes you vulnerable. But it doesn't make you weak, and I have to believe it's worth it."
Perfuma, to Catra, "Return to the Fright Zone"

"What have you done to me?!"
Hordak, to Entrapta, "Failsafe"

Hordak: Go. Maybe then these memories, these imperfections will leave me.
Entrapta: Remember, your imperfections are beautiful!
—"Failsafe"

"You're worth more than what you can give to other people. You deserve love, too."
Mara, to Adora, "Heart, Part 1"

"I am not your brother. You made me in your image, but I am more than that. I gave myself a name. I made a life of my own. I made... a friend. I am Hordak, and I defy your will."
Hordak, to Horde Prime, "Heart, Part 2"

"You can't control us. You don't understand what makes us strong. And that's why you'll never win."
Entrapta, to Horde Prime, "Heart, Part 2"

Catra: You can't give up. You have never given up on anything in your life. Not even on me. So don't you dare start now!
Adora: It's too late. I've failed.
Catra: No, no! I've got you. I'm not letting go. Don't you get it!? I LOVE you! I always have! So please, just this once, stay!
Adora: ...You love me?
Catra: ...You're such an idiot.
Adora: ...I love you too.
[Cue Big Damn Kiss]
— "Heart, Part 2"

"The idea of two people who are tied together by their experiences, but also have some key differences that push them tragically down different paths, is very interesting to me. I’ve always loved the nemesis relationship .... These people who mean the world to each other and hate each other but love each other, and it’s all wrapped up together. It’s a really confusing bundle, and I love it."

"I think because we as a show have so much interest in humanizing our villains, I really wanted Horde-Prime to be different. There is evil in this world. It's dishonest to say that everyone is capable or worthy of redemption. There are people who have stewed in their own hatred for so long that the only thing you can do is just... She-Ra banishes him. 'There's no place for you in this world.' If there was ever any good in Hordak-Prime, if there ever was love or kindness, this is someone who has prolonged his life for so long by taking over the bodies of others, for centuries."
ND Stevenson about Horde Prime

"At the end of the day, there's no way to redeem someone who doesn't want to be redeemed. There's no way to force them to care about other people if they don't. [...] I think that's a choice. To break out of that evil, that's a choice that a person has to make, and I don't think [Hordak-Prime] is capable of that when we see him in the show."
ND Stevenson about Horde Prime
