     Total Drama Island
Not So Happy Campers - Part 1
  • There's a rumor that Jacques and Josee from The Ridonculous Race have been referenced by Beth in this episode when she mentions a man who dropped his female partner on the head on an ice-skating TV show in which Chris also competed. However, not only the Ice Dancers have more than likely not even been planned at this point, Beth also mentioned such instance happening on a reality TV show. The only instance when it happened to the Ice Dancers happened during the Olympics at which they got a silver medal.
  • It was believed for a long time that Emilie-Claire Barlow only took over as Courtney in the third episode, with Rochelle Wilson, who later voiced Sugar in Pahkitew Island, voicing her in the first two episodes. However, both Wilson and series director Todd Kauffman have debunked this, saying that Barlow voiced her the whole time. Part of the reason for this belief was many thinking that Courtney's voice sounded different in the first two episodes compared to later, though that was likely just Vocal Evolution.
  • There’s a rumor that Katie and DJ were supposed to date in the first season that got scrapped, but there’s no such confirmations.

Not Quite Famous

  • It's widely rumored among the fandom that the reason Justin was eliminated was because Adam Reid got sick and was unable to voice Justin for the rest of the season. There's no concrete proof of this, but if it were true, it would possibly explain Justin's considerable lack of dialogue throughout the season and his larger role in the following season. With that being said, it's been said on other occasions that availability of a voice actor doesn't decide about elimination order. This can be proven by the fact that when Alejandro's voice actor couldn't return due to mental health issues (as revealed on a reddit AMA), Alejandro was given a new voice actor in All-Stars as opposed to being scrapped.

X-Treme Torture

  • It's widely rumored among the fandom that the scene in which Heather accidentally exposes her breasts to Harold was originally uncensored, but that Cartoon Network had Fresh TV censor them with pixelation so they could air it for their target audience. While Fresh has depicted female nudity on other productions by them like 6teen, something unusual back then and nowadays, all those moments have never been uncensored, so any videos of Heather's uncensored breasts that can be found on the Internet are fanmade.

Haute Campture/After The Dock Of Shame

  • It's widely rumored among the fandom that the reason the episode's original plot was scrapped was because Novie Edwards had other commitments, hence Leshawna's elimination was unintentionally caused by the losers. The creators have confirmed that the availability of the voice actors wasn't a factor in deciding the elimination order.

I Triple Dog Dare You!/The Very Last Episode, Really!/Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island

  • Believe it or not, in the early years of the fandom, there was a rumor that Heather won in France. This is obviously not true and you can watch the true French version of all three episodes online. Furthermore, this would've meant that not only the ending of the penultimate episode and the opening of the special were changed, but also the entire script of the finale as well. Such effort for just one different ending (and a controversial one, given that the main antagonist would've won), which according to the rumor aired in only one country at that, would've been incredibly uneconomical, even more so than creating another rumored ending - Cody's one from World Tour.

Rock 'n Rule

  • There's a rumor that Lindsay was set to go to the final two but because Stephanie Anne Mills, her voice actress, had another project to work on, Beth was written in the final two in Lindsay's place with the implication this was going to be her elimination instead. However, this has not been confirmed to be the case, as the creators said that availability of the voice actors has no role in the elimination order (further backed up by the fact that Alejandro's VA was simply changed in All-Stars as opposed to just scrapping him from the season). The fact that she still voiced Lindsay in the finale also seems to contradict this.

     Total Drama World Tour

Hawaiian Punch/Aloha, Finale!

  • There are fans who claim to have watched Cody's ending. However, this ending has never been created (along with Ice Dancers' from The Ridonculous Race) and he was only featured in online polls for voting for the winner to avoid spoilers of him being eliminated. Not to mention, creating his ending would have been incredibly hard, as not only it'd drastically change the plot of the majority of the episode, but the song would have to be heavily altered as well, which would've been uneconomical given all the effort and cost needed for this one ending.

Total Drama: Revenge of the Island
Bigger! Badder! Brutaler!
  • It’s mildly rumored among Total Drama’s TikTok fanbase that Cody developed feelings for Sierra after World Tour. This is based on the scene where the original contestants arrive on boat and Cody smiles as Sierra hugs him. However, it’s more likely that they’re just friends.

Ice Ice Baby

  • It's widely rumored among the fandom that Scott's brief Ship Tease with Dawn in the episode was because, back when Revenge of the Island was set to be 26 episodes long like the previous three seasons, it was originally planned by the writers to have Scott romance Dawn to sway her to his side, but that all this subplot was scrapped when production problems shortened the season to 13 episodes only. There's no concrete evidence this is true, however, so many assume it was just a rumor created by the "Dott" shippers, especially if one takes into account how Dawn was one of the last Revenge competitors to be created, making this even more unlikely.

     Total Drama All-Stars
  • It's rumored that the reason why Owen didn't compete in this season despite it originally being planned was because Scott McCord, his voice actor, refused to voice him for another season. This theory has never been backed up by any official statements and the fact that he still voiced Owen during his cameo appearance in the finale seems to contradict this. There's also the fact that it's been stated that availability of voice actors doesn't influence their time on the show, meaning he likely would have just been voiced by a new voice actor, like Alejandro.
  • Speaking of rumors related to voice actors, there were several ones regarding why Marco Grazzini was replaced by Alex House. Among them was that he spoiled the final two of World Tour, which per the rules of the contract got him fired. However, all those theories were disconfirmed when Marco Grazzini stated on an AMA on Reddit that he declined to voice Alejandro in All-Stars due to experiencing mental health problems at the time.
