I Wrote Haikus about Cannibalism in your Yearbook LP (stylized iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook LP) is the sole studio album by the Californian Screamo band of the same name.

It was released in 2010, a few years after the band disbanded and only released a few EPs (There are only three releases in their discography and other information about the band is relatively unknown). The back cover of the first issue provides annotation for each track and sometimes contrast the pessimistic suicidal lyrics of the songs. The album has been reissued on vinyl and cassette in 2020, featuring a new cover art.

Tracklist:

  1. "Untitled 1"
  2. "Untitled 2"
  3. "Untitled 3"
  4. "Untitled 4"
  5. "Untitled 5"
  6. "Untitled 6"
  7. "Untitled 7"
  8. "Untitled 8"
  9. "Untitled 9"
  10. "Untitled 10"
  11. "Untitled 11"
  12. "Untitled 12"
  13. "Bonus Track"

I wrote examples about tropes in your page:

  • Broken Record
    • "Untitled 9" repeats the lyrics "You're so much stronger than you ever knew" during the outro.
    • "Untitled 10" and its lyric "Hey, don't be that way".
  • Deadly Hug: "Untitled 12":
Hold me so tight that my ribs break
So I can die in your arms
  • Despair Event Horizon: A general self-hatred is reflected on some tracks ("Untitled 3" mentions suicide as a way for a blossomed love to not go downhill). "Untitled 9" might be the most optimistic track despite mentioning trauma.
  • Driven to Suicide:
    • "Untitled 3":
I will commit suicide at the very peak of our desperate love
So it will never get the chance to weaken or fade
    • "Untitled 7" has its outro lyric being "Go ahead and just kill me, I am already dead" repeated.
  • Face on the Cover: The three band members being merged into one, flashlit in a dark setting. The reissue of the album replaced it with the illustration of a leaf.
  • Instrumentals: "Untitled 1".
  • Limited Lyrics Song: "Untitled 2", "Untitled 6", "Untitled 8", "Untitled 10" and "Untitled 11"
  • Lyrical Cold Open: "Untitled 2".
  • Metal Scream: Typical for any Screamo act, after all.
  • Miniscule Rocking: "Untitled 3", "Untitled 5", "Untitled 8" and "Bonus Track".
  • Pep-Talk Song: "Untitled 9"
    Surviving a
    Broken heart is so hard
    But once you do survive
    You realize
That you are so much strong, stronger than
    You ever knew
  • Screamo Music
  • Self-Referential Track Placement: All untitled tracks are referred by their tracklist placement while "Bonus Track" is appropriately the last track of the LP.
  • Song Style Shift: Some tracks (notably "Untitled 7") go from
  • Self-Titled Album
  • Studio Chatter: "Bonus Track".
  • "Untitled" Title: On all tracks except the "Bonus Track".
