  • Barb's love for her dad, King Thrash.
    • While she reacts with confusion at Poppy's friendship letter to her (which she thinks is taunting her), when it makes her dad sing Pop, she desperately begs him to come back to her and angrily growls "NO ONE does this to dad."
    • Barb sings "Crazy Train", which in real life is a song by Ozzy Osbourne, who voices her dad. Meaning it's a song Barb learned from him.
    • Barb is also good with kids, taking time to interact with them and letting a one play guitar with her.
    • Despite her actions, Barb is shown to be utterly adored by her people.
King Thrash "It's okay, Barbara. Just let everyone be what they want to be. Including you."
  • Branch singing about his feelings for Poppy during "Trolls Just Wanna Have Fun", all while smiling lovingly at their picture together.
Branch: (singing) Lived underground to get away from the world, 'til I had my life changed by a beautiful girl! Just need the guts to tell her that she's the one, but you know, Trolls just wanna have fun!
  • The bond between Cooper and his fellow Funk Troll family.
  • Hickory trying to help Poppy.
  • Branch saving Poppy from becoming a rock zombie.
  • Queen Poppy and Queen Barb becoming friends at the end of the movie, with Barb announcing to Carol (her other friend) in sheer joy that they now have a girl group.
    • It is also heartwarming because Carol accepts the girl group idea with excitement especially, after spending the whole movie as a seemingly apathetic Rock Troll.
  • Poppy and Branch confessing their love for each other by the end of the movie!
Poppy: Branch, I love that we're different!
Branch: And I love you, Queen Poppy.
Poppy: I love you too, Branch.
  • Don't forget after their High-Five they kissed!
    • Even though "The Kiss" was not really seen due the zoom-out Word of God confirms it was a "kiss".
  • And at the end when Poppy was showing the Troll children her new book, she holds Branches hand, locks eyes with him, and shares her message.
    Poppy: "You can't harmonize alone."
