Heartwarming / Trolls Band Together

• Floyd’s care towards Branch, even when he felt like he had to leave him.
  • Furthermore, unlike their brothers, Floyd says to Branch he'll come back one day.
• When Poppy catches Branch listening to one of his and his brothers' music records, she confesses her admiration towards Brozone, which causes Branch to express brief delight towards this revelation before covering it up.
• Bridget is much more self-confident now compared to the first movie. In the first movie, she was a scullery maid who thought she'd never have a chance with the king, thinking he didn't even know she was alive (and Chef bossing her around certainly didn't help). But in this movie, Bridget is much more confident and secure in herself; while in the first movie she said "Is it me you're looking for? I don't think so", in this movie while preparing for the wedding, she confidently says "It's me he's looking for". She even makes a joke to Gristle about not being able to remember all her previous suitors.
• Branch’s brothers interactions with him when reuniting after two decades are all very sweet.
  • John Dory is the first to reunite with Branch. While he takes a teasing approach with him, he affectionately calls him ‘Baby Branch’, and acknowledges that he has grown up.
  • Bruce, when reuniting with his brothers again, completely ignores John Dory just to be able to reunite with Branch. Bruce tosses Branch into the air, and while it frightens him, gets Branch to giggle slightly because of it.
  • Clay, after reuniting with Bruce, notices Branch and gives him a tight hug, and is the first brother he does this to. A few seconds after that, Clay squishes his youngest sibling’s cheek, while adding his own heartwarming comments about him.
  Clay: Come here, come here! Oh, you’re so cute!
• For anyone that hasn't watched the last holiday special, Branch and Poppy have started openly dating, they even refer to each other as Girlfriend/Boyfriend. This leads to a lot of cute and even flirty moments between the two of them during the adventure.
  Poppy: Looks like your band days aren't behind you. *flirty growl*
• John Dory being a Shipper on Deck for Branch and Poppy. Only a few hours ( at most) after even meeting Poppy, John Dory enthusiastically tells Branch that Poppy is a "keeper", and spends every chance he can complimenting, praising, and bonding with her.
• Upon reuniting with both Spruce and Clay, both are glad to see their brothers again after twenty years (with the exception of John Dory, who both are still mad at much like Branch.)
• Even though he’s gained weight and lost the six pack abs he was known for back in the day, Spruce (or as he goes by now Bruce) is still considered very attractive , with Poppy holding up a photo of his younger fit self as she sees his current self for the first time surfing, and as she swoons she says that he’s definitely the heartthrob of the group. There’s also never any fat jokes/digs at his weight gain, and it could be implied he put on weight because he’s happy having settled down and having a family, whereas he was shown pushing himself (at John Dory's instance too) to maintain his abs during his band days.
• When Viva finds out that Poppy is her long lost sister, both of them are excited to finally meet one another. Even if their reunion was spoiled due to Brozone's mission to save Floyd, Poppy leaving her scrapbook behind allowed Viva to learn her error and she bravely sets out with the Gristle and Bridget to help her sister.
• Poppy reassuring Branch that she will not leave him once his feelings about his brothers get confused with his feelings about her. She knows he's not in a good head space and reassures him that she's not going anywhere which manages to put him at ease.
  Poppy: I have been by your side from the moment we met. And you’ve been by mine. Let’s give each other some credit here.
  Branch: (sighs) Right. Uh, I’m sorry. Thank you.
  Poppy: You’re welcome. And I’m not going anywhere. Unless it’s with you. To save Floyd. (They hug each other)
• Late in the movie, when Brozone finally manages to get the Perfect Family Harmony right and break Floyd out of his diamond prison, Poppy and Viva are also included in it. Since the diamond prison still shattered with the additional voices, it means that Branch and the rest of Brozone consider Poppy and Viva part of the family.
• Poppy and Branch's Kiss. No zoom out to make it ambiguous, instead it's broadcast to everyone as the major characters look on. Even the crowd was swooning over how cute these two are together.
  Poppy:"So... how you feeling?"
  Branch:"Happy, Grateful, and... really sorry it's taken this long to open up to you."
  Poppy:"Woah! TMI. Boundaries my man, that is a lot of feelings!" (Both laugh until she pulls herself in for a kiss)
• After their kiss Branch wonders what just happened only to find his hair braided by Viva, meaning she likes him. Of course she approves of her sister's boyfriend!
  Branch: "Uh... What just happened?"
  Poppy: "Oh that? Viva just braided your hair, it means she likes you."
  Viva: "It means I like you!"
• Just as BroZone are about to go onstage for the Dance Party Ending, Branch reveals that he's also invited some old friends to come and perform with them. When these other trolls arrive, it's revealed that they're another boy band that Branch used to work with, and he gets to perform with them and his brothers for the big finale.
  • Just before the other band comes in, John Dory enthusiastically complements Branch on the new song Branch wrote, even saying he always new Branch had it in him.
  • And look at Floyd during this scene. He has the most adorable, amazed look at meeting Branch's friends.
  • While it's unclear when specifically Branch was in this other band, it's implied that he hasn't seen any of them in a long time, suggesting that he knew them before the events of the first film. Even when he lost his colours and became depressed, Branch wasn't alone after all.
• At the end of the movie, while Branch is performing onstage with his other band, his brothers are happily dancing along to the music right in the front row. And Floyd is right there with them, looking happier and healthier than he has the whole movie.
  • And when Branch lets his brothers perform on stage with him, Floyd spends the entire time looking like he's holding back Tears of Joy.
• At the end, Branch finds Poppy in the audience and gets down on one knee, saying he has a proposal for her. It ends up being a bait-in-switch, as it looks like he was going to ask her to marry him. However, he wanted her to join the band instead and was going to ask her. Despite it not being a marriage proposal, it's still very sweet that he wants her in the band, and Viva ends up joining as well.
• The Junior Novelization adds one more cute Branch and Poppy moment after the Dance Party Ending where in which they both reaffirm their love for one another, only for Poppy to faint over all of the excitement with Branch catching her when she does!
  And she did [faint]. But Branch caught her. He would always be there to catch her when she fell, and she would do the same for him, no matter what.
