  • Actor-Inspired Element: The Kismet Trolls were designed by their respective voice actors.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices:
    • Rhonda, the female Interdimensional Hustle Travler bus, is voiced by Walt Dohrn.
    • Baby Branch is voiced by the aforementioned Walt Dohrn's daughter Iris.
  • Irony as She Is Cast:
    • Floyd is the Cool Big Bro that Branch has always looked up to. Troye Sivan (who voices Floyd) is actually fourteen years younger than Justin Timberlake (Branch) and has often named the latter as one of his main inspirations as a musician.
    • Without stolen talent, Veneer is just as Hollywood Tone-Deaf as Velvet. His voice actor, Andrew Rannells, is actually a professional singer and highly acclaimed Broadway star.
  • No Dub for You: The film did not receive an Arabic dub, unlike the prior two films.
  • Non-Singing Voice:
    • While Andrew Rannells does his own singing for Veneer, Velvet's vocals are provided by Brianna Mazzola instead of Amy Schumer.
    • Iris Dorhn voices Baby Branch's speaking voice in the opening prologue, but his singing voice is still by Timberlake but at a higher pitch.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • David Fynn, Biggie's voice actor for 2D animation in The Beat Goes On! and TrollsTopia, voices him in this movie, replacing James Corden.
    • For the Korean dub, Eunseok voices Branch, replacing Rowoon who played him in World Tour.
  • Real-Life Relative: Director Walt Dorhn's daughter Iris voices Baby Branch in the opening scene. She had previously voiced Poppy as a baby in the prologue of the first Trolls film.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers: The company that licenses Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", one of the songs featured in the "Mount Rageous" medley performed by Velvet and Veneer, only allowed use of the song for the movie itself and not for its accompanying soundtrack album, resulting in "Mount Rageous" having its "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" part cut from its rendition in the soundtrack album.
  • Short Run in Peru: The film started its international rollout in October of 2023 starting in the UK, parts of Europe and Latin American countries.
  • Underage Casting:
    • Floyd is shown to have been a young adult when Branch was only a baby, putting him at least in his late thirties during the main story twenty years later. Troye Sivan was only 28 at the time of the film's release.
    • Although Poppy is younger than Viva, their actresses are actually the opposite way around. Camilla Cabello is 12 years younger than Anna Kendrick.
  • What Could Have Been: Here.
  • Word of Gay: Lance Bass, the voice of Boom from the other boy band Branch used to be in, stated that Boom is gay in the comments of this post, as if the rainbow hair and the fact that Bass himself is gay in real life didn't tip you off.
