  • Even though the first Christmas Episode takes place after Barbie and Ken broke up, and before they start getting back together, The Stinger still shows the two exchanging presents. Ken admiring Barbie's gift to him — a customised basketball uniform — makes a more heartwarming moment than does Barbie discovering Ken's gift to her, though.
  • Barbie comforting Skipper after her boyfriend fails to show up to take her to prom. Ken, Stacie, and Chelsea get really weirded it by how out-of-character it is for the two of them.
  • The Group Hug after Barbie banishes her mother from the Dreamhouse in "Barbie's Mother".
  • Doubling as awesome, for all of Ken's bumbling and his eccentricities, he is shown many times to be a great father and upon his character being revamped, still genuinely cares about Barbie and usually knows her better than she knows herself (her impaired judgment due to her alcoholism notwithstanding).
    • In The Barbie Cooking Show episode #1, he knows what happens if Barbie drinks the cooking sherrynote  and about Krissy's habits, and speaks in amazement how she has custody of the girls.
    • In "Baby Shower", during the flashbacks about Barbie's pregnancy with Krissy, Ken manages to keep her away from alcohol, compliments her on her looks as she was getting fatter, watches Titanic with her even though it's implied that he hates it, and is excited that Krissy recognizes his voice.
  • In a strange way, Ken and Barbie’s affair is kind of heartwarming. Despite their breakup and the arguments they have, they just can’t stop loving each other.
  • "Playdate"
    • Ken and Barbie admitting their love for each other, especially since they were arguing about their parenting skills earlier in that episode.
    • Barbie’s concern for Chelsea when she sees her enacting inappropriate situations with her dolls is sweet. She might not always show it but she does care for her kids.
  • It’s a small moment (that Barbie was drunk for), but in “The Hangover” Barbie admits that Yasmin is her best friend.
  • In "The Future", Skipper is revealed to have married Anslem, had four kids with him, and developed a more positive attitude towards Barbie, actually having forgiven her. It freaks Barbie out, but it's nice to see she grew into a well-adjusted adult considering her sisters weren't as lucky. Also of note are the twins' names: the little girl is named Millisandra as a tribute to Barbie's own middle name of Millicent and the little boy is named Atticus, after Atticus Finch, the hero from To Kill a Mockingbird.
    • The sequel episode, "Back to the Future", has Barbie seeking out alternate timelines, one of which is the best one seen: Stacie is a peaceful lesbian hippie instead of an uptight career woman, Krissy is a honor student aspiring to be a doctor instead of being brain damaged and Skipper is still Happily Married to Anslem with four children. Also, Chelsea, like in the first timeline, grows up to be Barbie, an alcoholic washed-out model instead of an unplanned pregnancy with uncertain paternity, which nonetheless satisfies the latter.
    • Stacie’s best future is the future where she’s dating/married to a woman named Harvest. While the episode itself ends badly for Barbie, Stacie later meets a girl named Harvest in “Becky” (she’s one of Becky’s “little sisters”), hinting that Stacie and Krissy could have good futures after all.
  • The ending of "Double Date". Not only did Kate thank Barbie for looking out for her in high school and forgive her even as the latter spent the entire episode trying to show up the former, but the fancy old-time microphone in the video revealed that it was an actual, real-life proposal (with a real engagement ring inside of it) to Mickey's recently engaged sister.
  • "Awards Show" has Barbie and Ken deliver this exchange after watching a clip of her Best Actress-nominated performance.
Ken: You did well considering that movie, Barbie, is like a polar opposite personality to you.
Barbie: Honey, that is the nicest backhanded compliment you've ever given me!
  • "Virginity" is surprisingly full of this. Barbie actually gives Skipper genuine advice on how to put the move on Anslem. And after Anslem finally agrees to take his romance with Skipper to a more intimate level, she actually KISSES BARBIE ON THE FOREHEAD AND THANKS HER the next morning!
  • The ending of "The Assistant". After impressing Barbie to the point of being hired, Tinka reveals to Yasmin that she was adopted, and that her birth name was Tutti. It's good to see that not only did she survive her ordeal, but grew up into a well-adjusted woman, too.
  • "Quarantine" has Chelsea's family entertain her by recreating various parts of Walt Disney World for her to visit, from all four theme parks to the "Colorado Ranch Hotel"note . When a stressed-out Barbie becomes too grumpy to recreate the rest of Orlando, everyone else instead cheers her up by turning the pop art room into a strip club.
  • In "Babies," when Barbie can't find any clean clothes for Chili and Pepper, she dresses them up in her lingerie. When Yasmin comes back from the store, she coos that her babies actually look adorable, by Bratz standards, so the women and Tommy proceed to spend eight hours photographing all three babies in various outfits from Barbie's closet. Ken eventually comes back to see the adults cheering on the infants in a race through the portrait room, so Barbie admits that she had more fun than expected while babysitting — but still disapproves of Ken's suggestion to make another baby for themselves.
